ENGLISH MUFFIN BREAKFAST SANDWICH - SAUSAGE. Huge and delicious.

Still wonderful and still yummy. News flash!!! They have smash burger now! I tried the OG Smash double burger. It was juicy, fresh, and fabulous. Better bring your appetite. Ordered the fries in the side for $4. Well worth it, as they were the double cooked crunchy outer, with soft center type fries which I adore. Stop by the bakery on your way out. So many yummy treats to enjoy. Didn't take a photo this time because I ate my food too quickly. Still A+++ in our book

These sandwiches are sooooo amazing! Flavor is intense. Size is LARGE and in charge. They have a bunch of flavored teas inside as well. Can't forget their Oreo brownie! Whoah!!' All this goodness! You will NOT be disappointed. TRUST ME!!!!

Solid sandwich shop to stop by while on the way to coachella! It doesn't look like much on the outside but there's plenty of parking and seating inside. Ordered the Trump Card (not fan of the name) but it's their most popular and I now understand why. While ordering, the cashier asked if I would like to split the sandwich and I said yes to split with my friend and it came out on two separate plate trays. The sandwich had turkey, salami, bacon, pepper jack cheese, and avocado with jalapeño focaccia bread. They also added a sliced picked and jalapeño chips on the side to each portion. Event split in half, the portion was pretty big but I'm glad it was bc the cost of the sandwich is $18 so it better have been able to feed two people lol The sandwich was really good and flavorful, can get messy towards the end. Overall it was very fulfilling and did the job for me. I'll def be back if I'm in the area again.

When you're in Indio / Palm Springs, you have to visit TKB. This was my second time here. Service and Staff: - Order at the counter and take a number. A staff member will bring your food to you - Both times I've been here have been during the lunch hour, so there's always a long line. Food: - Chicken Chipotle: flavorful, very filling, and was enough for two meals for me - Salad: they have one kind of salad. We added chicken and it was good Miscellaneous: - Don't forget to check out the bakery area for some very rich and large desserts - Indoor and outdoor seating available - There are tables for large groups and smaller groups - Definitely not a place to come if you're in a rush since it's popular and crowded - Lots of parking available

The BEST sandwiches! We've bought from them at both the restaurant and the food truck! Each time was excellent!! Our favorite is the Trump Card! Service is always great.

Italian sandwich. Meh. Did not like it at all.

I had seen all the Yelp reviews of this spot, including being ranked #1 in the NATION a few years back. I decided to stop on my way home from LA, and get some lunch. Honestly, wish I hadn't................ I got in line, not too busy, maybe 8 people in front of me. I ordered the Sexy Italian, minus olives and mayo. That, and a bag of chips was $23.00. Good lord! Better be good, right? How was it, you ask? Shitty! First of all, I took a seat in the room with the huge table behind the drinks. There was shit all over the table...napkins, crumbs, mustard stains etc. Wipe that shit down, man, seriously! Anyways.....I got my sandwich fairly quick. First thing I noticed was that it looked straight up like Kirkland/Costco ham on the sandwich. Nothing wrong with Kirkland ham, I buy it and eat it all the time, but for an Italian sandwich that costs $18 by itself, step up the meat game, man! The salami was cut pretty thick too and had a very overpowering smoke flavor. It was too saucy with the pesto and mustard and hard to eat. The kicker was the bread. It was a "parmesan roll", but it looked and tasted almost underbaked. It was really thin too! Subways Italian herb and cheese bread is way better, honestly. I bit in and was immediately disappointed. The quality of meat was bad, the bread was crappy, the produce was skimp, plus it was messy as a mofo. I ate half of the sandwich, and tried to take another bite of the second half, and I couldn't do it. Threw it away. Waste of $23.00. At least the Salt and Vinegar chips I picked out were good, lol! Definite one and done for me. Not sure how they have almost 5000 mostly positive reviews. Maybe people in Indio have different taste buds? Who knows. I shall not return. Meh.

Headed out to Indio, this is a must stop for good eats! The building is inconspicuous but look for the TKB logo into what looks like an office building but is the best sandwich deli and bakery in the desert and quite arguably the States. The space is bright and has good vibes throughout. It's hard to walk by the bakery counter first on your way to the deli line, everything looks so amazing! The deli line moves fast, they're quite efficient and friendly at the register. Most ordered sandwich is the Trump Card, but today I opted for the Mexican Marilyn Monroe on jalapeño focaccia (you have your choice between jalapeño focaccia or cranberry focaccia). The sandwich is unique with its freshly made chicken salad topped with bacon, avocado, lettuce, tomato and a chipotle aioli. Pure perfection though it can get a bit messy (get extra napkins). Served with fresh dill pickle slice. I shared my sandwich with my BFF who shared her Trump Card, pretty tasty too! And we had fried pickles (really goo The team are seem happy to be there, smiling over the counter as they make sandwiches. I'd be happy and proud of myself if I was cranking out the best sandwiches around! We didn't leave without stopping by the bakery "Athena's" to pick up some cannolis, Dubai Chocolate Pastry, a peanut Butter Brownie Mousse and a Keylime Mousse. We took them to go (absolutely no stomach real-estate after the sandwiches). All were good but rich peanut butter brownie mousse stood out as our favorite!!! I do wish the bakery sold the jalapeño focaccia, I would have loved to have taken some home! I'll be back, often.

Tried out TKB this weekend and I just came to a conclusion I'm not really a sandwich girly :/ My boyfriend ordered the trump card and I ordered the onion dip and I felt like the sandwich was very underwhelming. The trump Card was a bit better -- more flavorful and the veggies were delish. If we come back next time I would def try something else.

I get that it's a bang for your buck, but seriously -- who needs a sandwich that huge? These sandwiches are on a whole different level and really speak volumes when it comes to quality. The fresh-baked goods are amazing... I could happily take one of everything! I can't remember the exact sandwich I ordered, but I do remember it being delicious and massive -- I couldn't even finish it. The cashier was super friendly and helped me decide what to get. I ordered mine to go and, of course, snapped a photo the second I picked it up. This spot stays busy, and you can feel the pride of a family-owned and operated business. Overall, a great experience and definitely worth a visit!

The Gobbler: 3.5/5 It was decent. The best Thanksgiving sandwich I ever had? Not really but tasted a lot better than eating week old leftovers. I thought all of the right pieces were there but wanted the ham to be thinner and maybe less present in the sandwich. While it did scratch the itch of having this kind of sandwich, it was just good. I found the bread and the experience itself to be very forgettable. Cheese Curds: 5/5 These were a sleeper hit. I was really not expecting much at all but they knocked it out of the ballpark with these curds. Salty, chewy, and perfectly crisp. I don't even care that they felt like something you get from a Sysco stockiest, they were very very good. Potato Salad: 3.5/5 My two biggest attractions to this side were the cilantro and the absence of celery. I was hoping for something very flavorful but it ended up being a potato salad with some green onions (if you don't like green onions you might want to avoid because there are some substantial chunks of it in here). No cilantro to be found. The potatoes were well cooked and it didn't taste bad, but again, I wanted something a little different. Tiramisu: 1.5/5 Dry, cool whip, meh. I would avoid it next time. Ambiance: Casual cafeteria vibes. Come with your kid's soccer team. Service: I went about an hour before closing. The employees weren't very attentive or engaging, but food came out fast and hot. Parking: A big, dedicated parking lot. Easy.

    Reuben Sandwich!
    Victor H.

It was hard to rate this place! It's obviously a popular place with patrons constantly going in. I was traveling from Arizona to Northern California and needed a bite to eat. Pictures on Yelp of the Reuben sandwiches looked appealing; so that's what I went for, even though the pastrami sandwich looked good too. The sandwich looked good and I couldn't wait for my first bite. I decided to eat outside the car and I'm glad I did. I took my first bite and juices started dripping onto the ground. I tasted a lot of the sauerkraut and little of the pastrami. Everything else drowned out the pastrami. I opened the sandwich and there wasn't really a lot of pastrami. Looking at the sandwich from the front gave the illusion there was a lot of meat, but in reality very little meat. I was really disappointed. Not only was there very little meat, but I didn't think the quality was there either, not at that price point anyways. I've been to other deli's (cheaper) that had better quality meat that had tons of flavor. Oh well! At least I had fuel to continue my trip!

If sandwiches were crimes, this would be first-degree culinary manslaughter. I didn't just leave hungry, I left angry -- and that's harder to digest than the food. Let me be very clear: if I could give this place negative stars, I would. This isn't just a bad sandwich shop -- this is Yelp's version of a Ponzi scheme, propped up by outdated hype from 2018 (back when avocado toast was still considered edgy and the Obama Administration was a fresh memory). The world has moved on. TKB hasn't. The ambiance? Think less "award-winning deli" and more county jail cafeteria on visiting day. You don't walk in and feel welcomed -- you walk in and feel processed. The layout looks like a prison line: stainless steel counters, harsh lighting, and a shuffle of customers herded along like inmates waiting for their daily slop. First, they took my order wrong. Strike one. Then they forgot my chocolate chip cookie -- the only reason I put up with a deli in the desert heat in the first place. Strike two. The servers acted like they were doing me a favor by even existing, dripping attitude instead of customer service. Strike three. Then the showstopper: my father -- a 6'5", 270-pound elderly disabled man who has sat in more chairs than I've had bad meals -- broke their chair. Not because of him, but because the furniture here is clearly held together by expired mayo and false Yelp reviews. The photos say it all. Chairs at a restaurant should support diners, not audition for a lawsuit. The Food (if you can call it that): The sandwiches? Below gas station fare. I've had fresher, better-balanced sandwiches in the shadow of a Chevron bathroom. At least at a gas station, you know what you're getting. Here, they sell you mediocrity with a side of arrogance. We complained. The owner apologized -- which was nice -- but here's the thing: an apology doesn't fix a chair, a wrong order, missing food, or insult sandwiches. A refund would have been the bare minimum. Instead, we were left chewing on regret. This place isn't a bakery, it's a crime scene with bread. Yelp's "best" in 2018? Yeah, so were fidget spinners. The chairs collapse faster than the quality of the sandwiches. TKB is living proof that hype ages like milk. The food was trash, the service worse, and the furniture dangerous. My father almost died, I didn't finish my food, and if you want a real sandwich, go to La Sandwicherie in Miami or Philippe's the Original in L.A. At least they know how to treat a customer and a chair. One star... that's only because Yelp doesn't let me leave a flaming bag of zero). Yelp's "Best in America"? More like "Best Scam in Indio.

Always a great place to stop when you're in the desert! Portions are big, and the line went quickly. There is a separate line for dessert too, if you have room. Loved the big selection of iced tea and sandwiches of course!

The crepe wrap had this perfectly crisp netting surrounding the outer layer of the crepe. It completely won me over with the first bite as I'm someone that enjoys crispy and crunchy textures in my food. Everything down to the chicken, the fillings, and the crepe itself were just delicious. I came as a party of 3 and for the first half of our eating experience we were eating in complete silence because of how good our wraps tasted. That itself should be a testament to how great this place is. As an added plus, they had a water station & great music to vibe with. The contents can be a bit heavy though so if you're looking for a light breakfast, sharing one crepe wrap amongst two would be the way to go. Towards the end of my crepe I noticed that I was slowing down because of how heavy the flavor profiles were, so having something to contrast that, like a lighter side dish, would've been nice.
