It had a sour taste. I opened the bread and noticed that there is molded spots all inside the sweet bread. I bought 2 other pieces of breads. I am now skeptic about the others. I absolutely LOVE the sweet breads/pastries they offer here. The sweet cheese ones are my favorite and love getting them. The prices are really great as well. I wish they had one closer to me as this store is about 45min to 1hour round trip (depending on traffic), so one near Arlington would be wonderful. The ONLY issue I've had here is that I don't speak Spanish fluently and the first couple times I went there, some of the ladies really didn't want to even try to help me out so that I could pick the right kind of breads/pastries I wanted. I know a little Spanish and can usually figure out whatever we are talking about, but it's like they didn't even want to try. That was really disappointing as I've worked in the fast food and restaurant industry before and have ALWAYS found a way to make it easier for my non English speaking customers to order and communicate with me. Whether I asked someone that was bilingual to help me out or use a language translator app, I was going to help my customers out. I ordered a baby shower cake from this place and what a disappointment... Firstable the inside of the cake was suppose to be pink(strawberry) and have strawberry jelly for the filling. by the way they charged me an estra $10 just for the jelly.Well for my surprise the top part was vanilla with no strawberry jelly instead they put whip cream. But the worst of all is that it seems that they baked the bread with the wrong size pan that they had to fill the cake with left over bread to make it look bigger.
