I ordered an iced matcha latte and the green tea chiffon cake. The matcha latte wasn't exactly what I expected. It didn't have that strong, grassy matcha flavor and honestly tasted more like vanilla ice cream. If you're a matcha purist, it might throw you off, but I still liked it. It was smooth, creamy, and actually kind of comforting. The chiffon cake was decent. I liked the subtle green tea flavor but it was a bit on the dry side. Not terrible, just not super memorable. I came in on a weekday afternoon hoping to knock out a few hours of remote work and ended up really enjoying the vibe here. The space has a relaxed, peaceful energy with lots of natural light and soft instrumental music playing in the background. The Wifi was strong and consistent the whole time and it wasn't too crowded, so I had no trouble finding a spot to sit and work. The only thing that felt a little off was the bench seating. Cute little bakery in K-Town, the decor is nice. We went here on a Tuesday afternoon around 4pm or so, the pastry cases were so empty. It was a little disappointing. Sweet Potato Cake - delicious, not too sweet. All the cakes are beautiful. Bear Bread - not what was pictured decorating wise on the website (smiling happy bear versus bear that was on its deathbed) but it was comical. I saw that others had posted a similar picture on their reviews, lol. The filling is thick chocolate, share it or save the rest for later. Croissant - average Mocha Bun - it was good, not alot of filling but that's fine. We had some other item (in the photo it's the two rectangles in one package) it was displayed on a shelf with other items so I'm not sure what it was... the placement of labels for shelved items weren't easily identifiable if it didn't have its own section. This area maybe had 8-10 items, whatever it was... it was good. Tasted like a poundcake. I like how these types of bakeries don't produce things that are overly sweet. I wish we had the opportunity to purchase more items for later but again, inventory was extremely limited. Staff was quiet, yet friendly. Cozy vibe, clean shop. Prices were about average. I wish there had been sugar free options for drinks. Not a bad experience just okay. Would give a 3.5 if ratings had half stars. read more

I actually really like this bakery store. I always get the same type of Korean bread we like for comparison. And actually I appreciate that this store's bread is not overly sweet like some other chains. But to be very honest I am not sure if I would make an effort to come here again just for bread. As the seating arrangement here is very limited to the other bakery stores, although their drinks were very tasty too. But when I cam here on Saturday brunch time it was packed and no more seating available whereas other places always have plenty of seats available. This is a small bakery that sells bread, cakes by the slice, and whole cakes. The inside is pretty big and has plenty of seating. The staff were polite. We got two cake slices - blue berry chiffon and green tea blue berry. Both were delicious. The frosting was light and creamy, the cake was soft. It completely makes sense why most people walk out with whole cakes and the staff have to ask "do you want a whole or a slice" even when you choose to dine-in. read more

We just stopped in here so my brother could get a yuzu smoothie, but what friendly staff! Everyone was so welcoming. His smoothie was a bit more like a slushy in texture: refreshing, almost a pineapple note but definitely that citrus twang. My friend and I stopped by this place to catch up and we fell in love with the cake, coffee, and atmosphere. We got a chocolate chiffon cake, a green tea blueberry cake, and 2 brewed coffees. They were out of the brew and the young gentleman running the cash register gladly offered us Americanos instead. He diligently got the espresso shots ready and I can honestly say that it was the best Americano I've had! It also paired perfectly with the light and sweet cake. Really delicious desserts here! You must come early because they do frequently sell out of baked items even if there's several cakes in the fridge. The cakes are fluffy, flavorful and made well -- high quality. However, do expect to pay a little extra as rolled cakes were about $17 and slices were $4 and up. My mother and her friend went to Ecclesia Bakery early one morning for what should have been a peaceful, welcoming experience. Instead, they left feeling humiliated, disrespected, and ostracized. My mother is a kind, intelligent Black woman who carries herself with grace. Her friend, an Asian woman, was treated with respect during their visit, but my mother was blatantly dismissed. The restaurant was empty aside from them. When her friend's coffee was ready, it was personally hand-delivered to the table, steaming hot. My mother ordered a hot chocolate, and instead of showing her the same courtesy, the server yelled "Hot chocolate!" from behind the counter, as if my mother should retrieve it herself in the middle of an empty room. The message was loud and clear: She wasn't worth the effort. The drink itself? Lukewarm and barely drinkable, as though the same lack of care that went into serving it extended to making it. The pastries they ordered were doughy and underbaked--sloppy and unappealing, matching the tone of the service. This wasn't just bad service. It was blatant racism. To see this kind of treatment in 2024 is infuriating, but it's especially appalling in a business owned by minorities. You should know better. You should do better. Instead, this bakery chose to alienate and demean a woman who simply wanted to enjoy her morning. There is no excuse for this. None. Treating someone as lesser because of the color of their skin is disgusting, and it has no place in a business--or anywhere. My mother deserved respect, but instead, she was made to feel unwelcome and unwanted. If you care about decency and fairness, take your money somewhere else. This place doesn't deserve it. read more

Also got crème brûlée doughnut - out of this world. And I got a walnut loaf with cream inside. This was also delicious. A different cream than was inside the crème brûlée doughnut. I have been here a couple times now and each time its pretty good! The menu is pretty simple and the place is really small so I dont really stay here and drink or eat and mainly togo. The bread is really good and each night if they dont sell it then they have the bread on sale. I really like thier smoothies here though. Its really refreshing and they have an interesting layered smoothie so if you want 2 different kinds of smoothies you can get it in one. So I always get a mango and strawberry smoothie haha. Prices are a bit high here so thats the only thing that kind of prevents me from coming here too much. Last time I came and got a smoothie, the smoothie wasnt grounded all the way and it was a bit different than what I got last time. So maybe its a hit or miss too. read more
