Tamales: 4.5 Star Warm tamales at $3 each (post-tax). Two options available: - Spicy pork skin (chicharrón) tamales--very spicy, wrapped in green - Shredded pork tamales--wrapped in white Portion size is proportional to pricing. The chicharrón tamales pack a strong kick--I'd rate the spice level as "high." I'm a mild-to-low spice consumer, but alternating bites between the two types balanced it out nicely. I was stuffed after 1-1/3 tamales. Service: The cashier speaks Spanish, but fluent English-speaking staff were readily available and promptly answered when I asked about tamales (which aren't visible at first glance--just towers of pastries). Helpful customer service. The (possible) owner handed me my receipt and pointed to their phone number, saying I could call ahead to reserve tamales--perhaps they don't always have them? I've been going to this Mexican bakery for decades and can't believe I've never written a review. Their pan dulce is always good and fresh. They have a huge selection. Their bolillo rolls are also great. However, the most delicious item I get there is their jalapeno, bean, and cream cheese bolillo roll. OMG!! It is TO DIE FOR! I can't even describe how good it is. They also sell one without the beans, but I prefer the one with the beans. I usually go in the morning, and they are fresh out of the oven and piping hot. I placed an order with Anna, for 2 dozen mini concha's. She was so nice and helped me place the order for a Saturday pick up. They are honestly the best concha's I have ever had. Usually the bread can be very dry and dense. This is not the case. They are so light and airy and the toppings are again light and a nice crisp bite to it. I ended up getting even more items since everything in this Panaderia looks and taste amazing! I love the red jelly rolls with coconut, but this panderia has one with custard in the middle. NO I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!! Just today I bought their bread that have beans, jalapeños and cream cheese and the beans were literally raw. We called them bc we bought 5 and it's not cheap for the 4 I took back is was $10 and change and they refused to give me my money back. They wanted to give me the chorizo or ham ones which I do not like. I had to argue just to get other things that totaled my credit amount. If a customer is not happy with the fact that you sold an item to them that was not fully cooked they should provide you with a refund. To make matters worse they wanted to replace it wi the bread I do not like. This is very poor customer service! I won't be coming here again. I hate to do this to my own raza but since they don't care about what we consume why should I? This is wild!! They put all the carne on one side yo make it seem like it's busting out the side with carne buts ALL MASA! I don't even know how much these cost because it's about supporting your local bakery but come on, this is ridiculous! They don't care and know exactly what they are doing. I asked for one of the vintage style cakes, and they gave me this. The piping is sloppy. They forgot the flowers, and the letting is off center. I asked for they to fix the lettering at least if they wouldn't provide a refund, but they refused. The whole thing was really shady. I asked several times if they could do the cake, and they even have a video of them doing the cake I wanted on their IG. I ended up having to grab another cake for my daughter's birthday. I have no idea what the issue is, but now im out $40 read more

This panaderia offers a variety of Mexican pan dulce to choose from. If you call ahead and request freshly made warm bollios, they make it happen! I'm glad I came a second time, the first time I came I just got the tamales and although the line was long it went by fairly quickly both the guys at the register was hustlin. I've come to the conclusion that tamales should be eaten fresh. Don't wait to eat them, don't take them home and decide to have them for breakfast the next day because they just don't hold well. With that in mind the chicken tamale was delicious, the masa was moist. But I have to say the meat/masa ratio was off. The first time I came, I also ordered a pork tamale... I waited to eat in later on in the day and that was a bad idea. The second time I came I ordered 2 Chicken tamales, 1 Pork tamale and a Champurrado. The meat/masa ratio was better. I know its inconsistent but its probably made by a Mexican mom at home. Nonetheless the tamales and Champurrado was delish. BEWARE! If you're using card to pay! Went last Sunday (1/11/26) got charged twice and came back today (1/24/26) to get a refund on the second charge and I was told by the person on register a woman named isla I believe that she wasn't able to do a refund because she's not allowed to do the refunds. I asked her how is it possible that she isn't able to provide me with a refund which her response was that she would ask the person in the back , the baker, who's name is Guillermo came and told me that only one, the boss, who's name I was told was Chris is the only one allowed to do a refund so I asked if it was possible for them to call him and see if it was possible to get him to either come in or to allow his worker to give me a refund. They said they didn't have any way of contacting them, which clearly cannot be true because every person in every job has a way to contact their boss in case of emergency so I know that they clearly just didn't want to call him. I don't live in the area so it was already inconvenient for me to drive back in order to get this fixed. Honestly this would have not been such a big deal if I was just provided my refund or if the workers made more of an effort to actually call their boss in order to get this mixup fixed instead of just walking away from me. I was told the owner Chris only works in the morning until 1 so annoyingly I will try again tomorrow and will update. As a business to only allow one person to handle these situations is just a bad way to run things for situations like these. So my personal advice if you come to this location and pay with card just keep track on your bank statements. Update (1/25/26) thankfully the issue was resolved rather quickly and this time had no issues however I would definitely recommend using cash in order to avoid a similar situation like mine. Also to note I bought their bread and regardless of my experience with the card situation if I were to focus only on their bread it's actually pretty good and soft. I did notice that their concha is on the smaller size than usual so the mini conchas are very very mini. read more

It's been a about a year since I've bought from here. It's definitely because their customer service is horrible. The cashier this morning has a horrible attitude, the way she answers questions makes you want to walk out without purchasing anything. I bought 3 chicken tamales which were dry and small I also bought 3 bolillos which were warm and decent taste The prices are high for the items I think bolillos are $0.40 each (too high in my opinion, can purchase 4x$1 else where) and tamales I think $1.60 (I've had better for $1.25), I saw the price was $4.80 but they must charge taxes because $4.80 +$1.20=$6 and I was charged $6.48 The price wouldn't be an issue if the items where good. I've been going to this bakery for over 10 years and they never disappoint. If you are searching for an authentic Mexican bakery (a.k.a. pan dulce) this is the place. Other items they make are bolillo, turkey/ham sandwiches with bolillo bread, beautiful cakes for birthdays, etc., pizza, wings, tamales, atole, and champurrado. The lines are long in the early mornings but their bread always comes straight out of the oven so if you get there extra early, the bread is still steaming warm on the trays. Yummy! read more

Wow! Finally found my goto pan dulce place. Big selection and so many varieties of my favorite...CONCHAS! Ah so many colors, combination, and a choice of sugar coated or regular. They even have the cinnamon coffee with is the best combination. On top of the fresh breads, they're also a pizza place..whatttt lmao. Well, I recommend this to many, and if you need some reassurance, for an Asian gal to be with a mexican, he really loves this place. Ha. In love with this pizza! The dough tastes fresh, not oily looked like pizza hut or dominos. The cheese is soo tasty and stretches when you take that first bite. Pepperoni slices are quite big too and packed with flavor. This pizzeria/bakery has been there since I was a kid, I can't even remember what age I was at the time I first visited but I'm 25 now! lol the bread and pizza there are both great, nothing but quality.
