I was searching for another taco joint that served birria after my disappointing experience at "Fuego Cravings" in Azusa (my review is posted on their Yelp page). I happened to stumble upon this establishment. It wasn't too far away, so I figured I'd hop in my vehicle and hit the open road (cue "A Goofy Movie"). Upon arriving in the Aldi parking lot, I noticed the food truck right away alongside a churro food truck (I'll have to try it next time). Since it is a food truck, there's not much ambiance besides the passing of vehicles and shoppers nearby. There was a Mexican family of three ahead of me and an Asian lady. I was stoked that there wasn't a long line. The food truck only accepts cash or Zelle (the number is posted on his truck). Food is reasonably priced though expensive in terms of taco. However, you do get what you pay for. I ordered two al pastors and one carne asada taco (I don't know why my mind blanked and didn't order a birria taco). The owner had a gentle tone as he attends to each and every order. Upon arriving home and opening my plate, it didn't look inviting. It looked like normal Mexican tacos. But once I took a bite of the al pastor, the flavor profile was eccentric. I could taste the marinade seeping through the meat. I had a similar feeling with the carne asada as well. You can tell the chef behind the food truck puts a lot of attention to detail and flavor. I would definitely come back again to try the birria quesataco and consume. Highly recommend, especially as an alternative to Fuego Cravings. Edit: Tried it for the second time and it was less consistent. I ordered a carne asada, al pastor, and birria taco. Flavor life is less than 15 minutes, so eat there if you can. I ordered the birria taco (made with beef, not goat) and it was subpar at best. The meat was dry and I didn't order consume to dip it in. I'm a little surprised since the taco truck specifically identifies birria as their specialty. Avoid ordering birria.

Oh my god!!! I loved this spot so much! Definitely a gem in La Puente. I mean it when i say this was the best birria i've ever had. Everything was so delicious! Everyone is super nice and the service is fast and friendly. Very clean and generous, WILL come back.

I wasn't sure. I was suspect. But I was wrong! Great flavor! I had the Al Pastor and Birria tacos. Delicious! Great flavor! The Al pastor was actually my fave. Wish I lived nearby! If you happen to be in the area, absolutely stand in the parking lot and get your taco on!

My favorite taquero. The food is exceptional. Quality amazing! Taste- amazing! But let me talk another him and the staff. KIND. Compassionate and will always make your food with love. Located in hacienda and it's a peaceful wait. We laugh while waiting and talk . They serve the food in a timely matter and hot! Love El Super Pepe's!

Food truck that specializes in birria located in La Puente parked right outside in Aldi parking lot or at least that was a location when I went there for lunch when I was working in the area. I saw that this place could get busy and or sell out relatively quickly. Since I came for lunch at an odd hour, there was pretty much zero line and they had plenty of food. Because it wasn't that busy, everything was pretty chill. I went up, ordered a few tacos to bring back to work and it didn't take that long to get it. The quesa birria taco here was super delicious! The other tacos here were really good too, but definitely their specialty is great. I didn't wanna get anything too heavy like the birria ramen, but that looked interesting too. Definitely a spot I would like to hit up again if I'm in the area.

Unfortunately this time, the phone didn't eat first, so I don't have any pictures of the tacos I ordered. I had 2 asada tacos and 2 al pastor tacos which were amazing! Although my original intention was to try the birria... They had already sold out BUUUT the lady at the register was nice enough to gift me some extra consomé. Let me just say it did not disappoint! I can't wait to go back to get some birria. My recommendation is to plan to go as early as possible if you want to get birria. There's also plenty of parking where the food truck is located! For the most part, I would say this is a grab and go place, but there were plenty of people eating in their cars. Right next to this truck, there was another vendor selling churros if you're in the mood for something sweet afterwards

These tacos are gas! I've been having my eye on this taco truck for a while now because of their signature birria. And finally, I got a chance to try it out. We called in the morning to double check where their truck is located. And the truck was on Hacienda Rd in front of the Aldi. They informed us to come before 4:00pm because they were projected to sell out by then. When we got there around 3pm, me and my girlfriend were able to order immediately. There are no tables or seats to eat, so you will have to go back home to eat or eat in your car. But, be careful, this is going to be a messy meal. I recommend parking inside the Aldi lot. Like most taco trucks, they only accept cash. And prices may vary, depending on when you go. Today we ordered, the combo tacos with consumé, mulitas, and birria ramen. This order's total was $33. We thought we didn't order enough to eat, but we were wrong. The tacos were magnificent. With the perfect amount of cheese and the freshest guac, the first bite was magical. I would recommend opting for the hard shell. The mulitas were just as delicious. They are definitely not shy on the meat. Every bite was juicy. The birria ramen was okay for me. It was good with plenty of birria, but nothing too special for me. By the end of the meal, we could not eat another bite. And when we checked back to grab some napkins, they were sold out already. I recommend dropping by whenever you get the chance.

First time trying this taco truck, it's very good! Better than other birria trucks I've tried. Friendly service.

I was super disappointed when I ate here, not that the food was bad, but by looking at all of the great reviews, I was expecting a mind blowing experience. My son and I were excited to try this place out, had a lot of hope and anticipation. My Son and I ordered 3 birria tacos and an Al Pastor torta, we shared both items I've had birria tacos numerous time before, experiencing the good, the bad and the so so birria tacos, this was my Sons first time trying birria, the first thing he said after taking a couple of bites were, flavors kind of weak, I then tried my one taco, and agreed, lacked flavor, even after dipping in the consume, it didn't add any additional flavor to the taco. We both also agreed that the Al pastor torta was actually better in taste and flavor and enjoyed it much more. So we'll, or I will give this truck another try again, and we'll see how it goes, but for now, these tacos were just ok, 3 stars.

This taco truck is dangerously good!! I've had a few different Birria spots now and this has been the best and has reasonable pricing. First of all, they offer Birria Ramen!! It's a must try for $9, They pack it full of Birria meat and there is a pretty spicy punch to it! We also loved the combo plate for $11 with 3 Birria Queso Tacos with Guac and Consume dip. Again it's full of flavorful meat and loved it with the cheese and Guac to brighten/freshen up the flavors in your mouth! The fried taco somehow has an amazing flavor and doesn't just taste like oil like at some places I've had. Also happy they had cucumbers and jicama on the side. Nice and cooling especially on a hot day.

I happen to be at Aldi's when I saw this food truck on a Saturday afternoon. There was quite a few people waiting outside, so it looked popular. I wanted to give it a try. I got two tacos de Birria ($2 each) and one quesotaco ($3.50) with consome - came out to $10.50, which isn't a bad price. For the tacos, you had the option of soft or crunchy. It was about a 20 minute wait for the tacos. Since I took it to go, I eating at home. The tortillas were kind of soggy. I ear fried them, and they came out perfectly. I thought the tacos were really good. The birria was the juicy and flavorful. Liked the quesotaco (comes with melted cheese and guacamole, but I personally don't think I would get the it again because I like the traditional taco as is. It was a little long of a wait, but it was a great find and good price.

Finally got around to trying this spot out. Ordered a Ramen Birria & Burrito w/ cheese (Birria as well) Meat was very tender and delicious. I would order both again. Staff is friendly. Heads up it's cash only.

I was told it would be a 15-20 minute wait, which is usually how long I normally wait at Mi Hibachi. I told the cashier (owner) I'll go to the store real quick and be back. I returned at 6:25, and my order was still not ready. I thought to myself "hey, maybe they have a big order, let's give it a few more minutes." 6:30, nothing ready. 6:40, nope, my order is still not ready. I see the cooks going back and forth as if they're making a bunch of orders at one time. Okay, so where is my order? Do they not know how to prioritize orders? I am literally standing in front of them, in pouring rain, pissed the hell off. Annoyed is an understatement for how I felt. Finally, 6:52, my order is ready. I take my order home, and once I get home, hungry and ready to eat, guess what? I take one bite of the rice, and it's stale. As if the rice was reheated from the microwave. I've never had this issue until today. Did they see my annoyed face and think they had to rush my order even faster so I don't complain? Well guys, as a restaurant owner myself, this is not how you should do business. Learn to prioritize your orders, especially when there are customers waiting in front of you. 20 minutes turning into 40 minutes is absolutely ridiculous. Also, this is just a side note. DIABLO means SPICY, very very very very very spicy. Your diablo sauce literally tastes like sriracha, hummus, and mayo. Isn't spicy at all. I, as of today will no longer be supporting this business. I am now sitting at home, cooking myself my own steam rice, and pairing with the steak and shrimp I got from Mi Hibachi. Oh, and I also need to use Truff hot sauce cause this sauce ain't cutting it.

I'll be honest, I wasn't expecting much, I thought it was gonna be like a glorified waba grill but I was wrong! I love Benihana and this tasted soooo much like it. Mostly due to their Garlic butter sauce. I'm not sure if they load it with so much garlic or if it has horseradish in it, but it had the same flavor and heat that benihanas mustard sauce has and that's my favorite! So I was in heaven eating my bowl from here. Also, we ordered it online. Drove 15mins to pick it up, it was ready. Drive 15mins back home and the food was still hot and fresh. CONS: -I wasn't a fan of the type of rice they use, it had the texture of brown rice and was pretty short/thicker grained... but it still tasted delicious. Their veggies were so fresh and cooked perfectly. -there isn't a description of what their sauces taste like so it was like choosing blindly. I'm so glad I chose the garlic though, I will get that every time! -the pieces of steak were cut too big imo, but again that's just my opinion. I'll be coming to this place way more often!

It was the massive wood-fired brick oven sitting inside what looked like a taco trailer. I actually had to do a double take. It felt like someone had folded an authentic Italian pizzeria into a food trailer using some sort of pizza wizardry. I visited on one of those 99°F days when the pavement feels personally offended by your existence. Watching Adam work next to that blazing oven made me sweat out of pure sympathy. Whoever is making those pizzas deserves a standing ovation... and probably unlimited lemonade. I ordered one of their best sellers, the **Debby's**, loaded with tomato sauce, fresh basil, mozzarella, sausage, and mushrooms. Then came the first bite. You know those moments when your brain quietly whispers, *"Yep... this is the one."* That happened. The crust was everything I want in a wood-fired pizza. Crisp on the outside, soft and chewy in the middle, with just enough stretch to make every slice fight back before letting go. That's the kind of resistance I'm happy to deal with. The tomato sauce tasted bright and fresh, with that lively acidity that says, "I met a tomato recently," instead of, "I've been living in a can since 2001." The mozzarella melted into every bite without stealing the spotlight. The mushrooms were juicy, the sausage had just the right amount of seasoning, and the basil tied everything together like the final note in a great song. What surprised me most wasn't that the pizza was good. It was *where* I found it. I never expected to discover pizza that reminded me of a great New York pizzeria right here in Hacienda Heights. For the longest time, I figured I'd have to drive to Los Angeles or Pasadena whenever a serious pizza craving hit. Looks like my gas tank just got a well-deserved break. Adamz Pizza Stop has officially earned a permanent spot on my pizza rotation. Sometimes the best slices aren't hiding in fancy restaurants. Sometimes they're coming out of a giant brick oven tucked inside a humble trailer, quietly making some of the best pizza in town.
