This was my second visit here, and though the service was good, the ice cream was not. I only stopped here as I stopped at the Starbucks in the same shopping center, and I was craving ice cream. What I received was an ice cream bar made with other ingredients, which I didn't care for, but it definitely wasn't yogurt, as it had a weird candy taste I didn't enjoy whatsoever. Came in on Sunday, we were the only people there. I ordered some hot Cheetos with cheese for my goddaughter and I asked if I could use the restroom. They gave me a key and so I went to the restroom. When I come back the hot Cheetos with cheese is sitting on the counter and my goddaughter is just waiting for me to grab them. They asked for the key which I had in my purse and before I could take it out they said " ay los dejo adentro" in a you're dumb for leaving the keys inside the restroom tone and I said "aquí están" and handed them the keys. The Esquite had too much water in it diluting the cheese and cream -wasn't crazy about the powdered chili as it made for a soggy bland flavor. The chips on the nachos were stale , they're left in the bag I'm guessing til someone orders them but not properly sealed to ensure freshness. I went in to take my girls for a treat and from the start the ladies were so rude, they both looked annoyed to have customers. My 6 year old ordered a cookies and cream ice cream and it tasted so plain no flavor at all. I kindly asked the lady if she can switch it out and she immediately got mad, the owner Jackie said it was fine but you can tell she was upset. She said she didn't like that my 6 year said it wasn't good because she was the one who made it. Then we ordered a vanilla raspado, it looked like egg yolk. I can tell my daughter didn't like it. I tried it and sure enough it was not good. I asked if that's what the raspado was supposed to look like and the owner Jackie got so mad she started saying she didn't like that I was complaining. I told her I'm sorry but if I am paying almost $10 for a drink then I want to make sure my daughter will like it. She started talking about my girls to the next customers and saying stupid comments. By far the worst experience I have ever encountered. Horrible service, I don't know what her problem was but if she in fact does own that restaurant then people need to be ware eating here. Jackie if you read this, please understand that customer service is everything, you did not have to act in such a unprofessional manner. This little michoacana is so cute! I noticed it as soon as I pulled into the plaza and had to stop in once I saw they have daily specials. I noticed some people ordering the mangonada so I opted for that and my friend got a strawberry agua fresca and both were delicious. The mangonada is smooth and refreshing with a nice little kick of spice. We tried the nachos de la casa too which is almost like esquites on a bed of nachos and it surprised us how much we liked it, we plan to get it again next time. The girl behind the counter was really friendly and offered us samples of any flavor we wanted.
