First time here and I have to say WOW. Fantastic food. It definitely has the old school diner feel inside. I ordered chicken fried steak with over easy eggs. My choices to go with were hash brown or country potatoes and toast, biscuit with gravy or 2 pancakes. I picked hash browns on the servers recommendation and the 2 pancakes. The chicken fried steak was delicious and cooked perfectly. It actually had a hint of that " southern fried" flavor that makes food sooo delicious. The gravy was basic but peppery and quite nice and there was a good amount. The over easy eggs were just the tiniest bit undercooked when my plate hit the table with slightly jiggly whites. However, by the time I put them on top of the steak and added a bit of hot sauce they were literally perfect. An amazing cook there! The hash brown were crispy and good. Wish I had ordered the country potatoes as in general I prefer them, but I'm very happy with the potatoes. The pancakes are superb! Super tall and very very fluffy served with lots of syrup( if it was real maple syrup I'd be in pancake heaven) Lots of people coming in being greeted by name. My only minor ( and it's very minor) is that the service seems to be a bit disorganised. It appears to be service by committee as 3 different people asked me if I was ready to order. However, that being said, I got everything I needed, including extra napkins and my water refilled and everyone was pleasant. Highly recommend this spot and I will return for sure. Omelette next time. Lots of specials and senior breakfasts available and all the price points seem reasonable to me, especially considering the size of the meal and the quality of the food. read more

Pancake Palace is the bomb. If your hungry that's the place to go. Good portions and great prices. This has already become our go to breakfast place. My boyfriend got he sampler and it really is a great sample of everything breakfast! I have gotten the eggs Benedict (even asked for a combo of the veggie Benedict with the regular one lol) they were great with my "substitute" request. The service is fast and friendly. We have made it a habit to spend our Sunday morning breakfast time here, usually arriving at about 7:00 a.m. when they open. This morning we showed up at our usual time, just after another couple, who the boss unlocked the door and allowed them in. I was directly behind this couple but the door was immediately closed and locked, leaving my husband and myself outside. We tried knocking on the door and window but were ignored. How rude!!! Family owned diner. I've been a loyal customer to this establishment for years, they know me and my daughters names and even have our favorite meals memorized. Talk about delicious food and portions. This place has the best breakfast. No matter what I'm in the mood for, I always have to have the pancakes and usually end up with a "to go" box. They're just that good. Nothing fancy. Just good old, buttermilk pancakes. The service is good, too. But you have to get to the Pancake Palace early on the weekends, as they fill up quick. The only downside, for me is that the coffee isn't as hot or strong as I'd like it. If you're looking for fancy, this isn't it. The inside looks about the same as the outside. But my stomach doesn't complain. So, neither will I! read more

The best thing about this restaurant is the service. It seems like quite a few of the patrons are regulars, I can see why. We stopped there for breakfast while we were visiting on mother's day. I had the chicken fried steak, my husband eggs and pancakes, and our granddaughter the strawberry crepes. I was surprised the had crepes but they were more like pancakes. I didn't taste it but my granddaughter was happy. My husband was happy too. I thought mine was a bit lacking. But I have to admit that since leaving Texas I haven't found a good cfs. We were a bit confused because we ended up with a dish that we weren't sure was ours. I haven't tried any of the other breakfast places in the area. I wouldn't have a problem coming back but I would probably try other places first. read more

Went in to enjoy a great breakfast it took a little bit before we got drinks and our order taken then got the food pretty fast got ready to eat and there was nasty hair in my food very visible told the server they took it back and hopefully made a new one it took around 15 minutes to get my new food then ate. Food was good got to counter and paid and told manager about the hair he said there was nothing he could do and still proceeded to charge me full price for their mistake I was very disappointed because the food was actually very good but the management and service was terrible read more

This place needs a total remodeling so it will attract a more professional type of people, most who come are very sketchey and the cooks constantly mess up your food and you have to send it back, I've Hurd lots of customers complaining and sending thier food back,including myself. The owner and his sons are very kind and very good people, ill give them that. But come on man do a remodeling project in your restaurant soon. read more

Not impressed. Service is fine, but the food was average. I ordered a pretty standard for America breakfast of sausage, bacon, hash browns, ham and eggs, Biscuits and gravy for 12 bucks. Pricey for breakfast. Long story short, my hash browns were undercooked and arrived cold. My eggs were ordered easy over, but the whites arrived runny. The bacon was ok, the sausage was mostly fat. The ham was a half slice from a can. The biscuits were ok, but the gravy was a plain white sauce with no hamburger or sausage bits like it should have. My wife ordered some type of ham and cheese omelette, with country potatoes for like three dollars less, and got more food, that was better tasting than mine. So I guess if you find yourself there for breakfast, stick to something other than what I got. At least the omelette and country potatoes my wife got were fully cooked. read more

This place is a hidden gem. Great food for a great price and you get plenty of food. This is a family run restaurant by a father and his sons. You will find at least one of his sons working. They make an effort to get to know their customers even though they're busy. I highly recommend this place. Give it a try, it will not disappoint! read more

Went to this place with low expectations as it looked like a whole in the wall. As we arrived, the parking lot was almost full, which was a good sign. As we are greeted and told to sit anywhere we'd like (love having options) it was all up hill from here. Service was outstanding, I left this place feeling like I just ate at a 5 star white tablecloth restaurant. Servers were on point with coffee refills, making sure our food was good, boxes for Togo food, Bill promptly brought to our table. One thing was the water refill, but food was perfect came out hot and faster than usual. Omar was over accommodating with grandma's pancakes Togo order (props). Nevertheless, as you can see I barley leave reviews, but this place definitely deserves 7 stars.
