I love so many restaurants in Cocoa Beach, so when I was traveling for work and craving some authentic Italian Cuisine, I decided to try Pancetta Pizza Bar! Wow! It's relatively new, but totally traditional Italian! Decor and bar was beautiful, service fantastic and food a must to go back to again. I got the 10" Carne and it was loaded with all the meats; the sauce amazing and crust was so good! Highly recommending Pancetta Pizza Bar for all the lucky Cocoa Beach residents and anyone on vacation! I am not a food snob or a pizza snob. But I know that we, as Americans, have become accustomed to mediocrity. Especially in a tourist town like Cocoa Beach. This place is the exception. The wood fired pizza was delicious. I ordered a 10" Carne and the Cheesy Garlic bread with dipping sauce. Ciabatta bread?! Exceptional. Delicious. Bravo! Service was a little slow for a Saturday afternoon but it didn't put me off from returning. I don't want to start any fights but they may very well be the best in town. ‼ Finally a GREAT Italian restaurant in Cocoa Beach! I went last night and had an amazing Eggplant Parm! First bite had me sold! I thought I was back in my Italian grandmothers house. Fabulous crispy edged eggplant with perfect amount of tangy, rich sauce. The dish was served over a mound of al dente pasta with melted mozzarella and fresh basil on top. It was a huge portion. I brought half home. The place was packed at 8pm and the place was still spotlessly clean! The front table were filled with happy families enjoying awesome looking pizzas with young children to couples with assorted delicious looking entrees and bottles of wine. The music in the background was a blend of hip, smooth jazz to classic Sinatra. I was solo at the bar and could not feel more welcome. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. I started with an Aperol Spritz that was not too sweet. The orange slice floating in the Prosecco was perfect! I previously lived near Boston and the quality of food and service here was equal to Boston's iconic Italian North End. I will be back!! Next time I won't be wearing tight jeans! It broke my heart that I was too full to try their Affogato for dessert. read more

A hidden gem in Coco Beach! Tucked away in a place across the street from Ron Jon, Pancetta is totally worth the stop whether you're in town on a cruise stop or staying long term. The restaurant is cozy, staff are welcoming, and the food was excellent. The multi kitchen concept means your food may come out sporadically at times but that's so you can enjoy your meal the way it's intended and not wilted from sitting under heat lamps! Yelped this location and glad we found it . I ordered penne à la vodka, and my husband ordered spaghetti with clams. For appetizer, we started with fried calamari, which was a very small portion. Desserts was homemade cream Brulé, and cheesecake . Careful when you check out there is an automatic credit card fee so if you're paying cash let them know ahead of time. Awesome service, sit at the bar with Ed, Adam , or Haley. Great Manhattans. The food is excellent and fresh. The meatball side is huge but moist and tasty. The bolognese is traditional with a hint of nutmeg. Previous visit the Italian sausage sandwich is on point with broccoli rabe and sautéed red peppers. The service was absolutely terrible. I really wish I went next door. There really was no excuse. Stared with the hostess saying a 10 minute wait...with tables open and a server saying out loud "I have open tables"....still had to wait 10 minutes. The waiter was so disorganized and non-attentive. There's food in the window waiting to be dropped for other tables...just sitting getting cold. Took forever to close out...the other server had to get our check...our server was MIA. The food is good but service is so bad I don't believe I would ever come back. I have been here other times and service was only OK even then. FYI- l'm a local and will not come back. Dinner/ happy hour was great!! there were 6 of us and half ate from the happy our list and half had dinner. My dinner was delicious! All of us enjoyed both meals and drinks! Our waitress was very funny and accommodating! The owner has been very involved and visible during every visit !
