Try this wonderful local business! We highly recommend the chicken fried steak breakfast! You can tell the food is homemade and fresh. The gravy is delicious and has a cozy home feel to it making this a great comfort meal. Our server was amazing, she was so friendly and kindhearted. The place is so cute, a hidden gem out in the open. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner Joanne. She greeted us and introduced herself to us. If you are looking for a great meal with a decent price point, look no further.

When you are missing a good home cook meal made by your Mama this is place to be to fill your happy place! Ambiance: 5 Stars - this is a Mom n Pop restaurant. The building is eclectic with its decor. Odd school tables with vinyl benches or wooden seats. Pictures of families and celebrities hung on the wall, and various quirky quotes nestled in crooks and crannies. If you are seated at a table with benches, some tables are pushed closer to one side of the two benches. These are people who have a little bit more of a "girth" body. We thought it was funny. The place and people reminded me when our family owned a Mom n Pop Southern homemade restaurant. Makes you feel like you home and don't "sass" your server or she will get you cleaning the toilets or washing dishes. LOL! Just a personal opinion. Service - 4.5 Stars - Our server was pleasant, friendly and professional. But you can tell if you get out of line she will put you in your place. Only a Mother or Grandmother can do. She answered several questions and confirmed our orders and had them served promptly. She checked on us by watching how we are doing and if we had empty cups, they were filled before we can say, "Please sir, may I have more"? - Oliver Twist quote. Of course, I would say "miss or madam" in the phrase. I offered not to clean toilets for my discipline. Food: 4 Stars - We ordered a basket of Fried Okra. 4.5 Stars - they were hot, steamy and fresh. However, the okra was store bought because of the how evenly coated they were. It was served w ranch which a "no go" for us. Eat it plain w some salt and you won't need any dipping sauce. 2. Breakfast bowl w biscuit - 5 stars on breakfast bowl but the biscuit was 3 stars. . The bowl consist of fluffy scrambled eggs, shredded hashbrowns, ham, sausage, bacon, cheese and onions. She requested jalapeños to make it spicy. She loved it. You can taste each ingredient and she added their homemade Mango jalapeño sauce to make it more flavorful. The biscuit was 3 stars because of the size and ingredients used. This is a personal preference but we can tell the biscuit used shortening instead of butter and the lack of salt as a seasoning. The size was smaller than expected. It was about a two inch in diameter and 1/2" inches height. It was wasn't as fluffy as other biscuits we have tried. It was flaky and had a good based to slather more jelly or honey on it. 4 Stars - Country Fried Steak w eggs, choice of hash browns, home fries or grits and biscuits or toast.. Server recommended the hash browns and I requested the biscuit. The batter on the steak was evenly dispersed and you can tell it was homemade verses a store bought one. The batter could have use a little bit pepper and salt for the dipping and dusting. The eggs were cooked to perfection - eggs over easy. Which is had to do because of the timing and if you have multiple orders you may missed the "flip" of the eggs or platter them up. Prices were totally reasonable and we definitely recommend this place. Just make sure to put your "Karen's and Brandon's" attitude away before you step in, 'cuz if you don't, there will be toilets or dishes that need to be cleaned.

Was too busy having fun to remember to take pics. Home cooked comfort meals with quick friendly service. Great classic decor.

Went to grab breakfast after our cruise and found this spot. Decided to give it a try. Definitely want to support small business. We were not disappointed at all. Amazing service great people we met Joanne herself! All of our food was delicious. Love the interior and all the decorations and signs; this is definitely one of my most favorite country fried steak dishes. It's part of my top three now it was amazing crispy, crunchy and moist inside. The gravy was outstanding. I even asked for extra! we all loved our food love the experience and the vibe. Joanne is awesome. Definitely recommended if you're in the area! We mentioned that we were on a cruise to celebrate my bro's bday and they came out with a little birthday dessert for him!! So cool!!

Of course I stumbled across this place via my tried and true friends at Yelp! This place is great, overall. I had the traditional breakfast which consisted of two eggs, bacon, hash browns, and a biscuit. There are other choices as well, but that is my standard. That food was good. I also ordered a single pancake, because why not?! That pancake was delicious! The decor in here is very entertaining. I included a few of my favorite signs but this place is chock full of gems like these. The music is great as they play a SiriusXM station that plays oldies. Not sure which channel number it is but the selections range from '50s all the way through the '70s which is about the time I stopped adding new music to my playlists! As for the service, unfortunately they seem to be suffering from the same lack of desire to work as every other business in the USA as poor Jennifer was the only person staffing the floor! That said, she did an awesome job! She was hopping the entire time but never showed any sign of being stressed. She was pleasant with me and every other patron in here. I'm not sure how she managed it but she seemed to spread herself very effectively so no one had to wait long to be seated and she floated from table to table very efficiently. Nice job Jennifer, thank you! Absolutely give them a try!

This little gem was pretty close to our VRBO rental and we very much enjoyed breakfast here. It's a quaint country cafe in a residential area with homecooked feel and very patriotic and right leaning ambiance, which we really appreciated. Service was super friendly and timely without ever feeling it was disingenuous or rushed. It appeared to be a favorite of locals and is far enough removed from the bustle of touristy downtown that made it even better.

This is located very close to the cruise port. It is no nonsense and nostalgic. The decor is rustic and old timey. Our server was pleasant and checked on us often. I had the southern breakfast bowl, Husband had an all-meat breakfast bowl, and we shared a pancake. Everything is hot, fast, and delicious. I dont have a single negative thing to say. The flavors were outstanding. My bowl had gravy on it, and lets be real here...I love a breakfast gravy but not all places do it well. There are many options on the menu to choose from, and they all looked amazing. I also loved that the syrup was on the table in a squeeze bottle. It just seemed less messy that way. Great breakfast overall.

Food was awesome. Waitresses were busy, but kept focus on addressing their tables. Country fried steak worth it! Catfish and eggs I tasted it worth it too!

Awesome food, service and the atmosphere is great! I had the brisket sandwich, one of the better brisket sandwiches I've had outside of Texas.

When we arrived, we did notice the outside could use a little TLC, but once inside, it was very clean and tidy. We were immediately greeted by both the hostess and bartender, and they were very friendly. We were seated right away and our drink orders were taken quickly. It took us a few minutes to go through the menu since we weren't familiar with the restaurant, and there are quite a few items to choose from. We ordered the "Crack Mac Snack" (macaroni and cheese) and added pulled pork and the biscuit bread. The food came out quickly, and we were not disappointed. The biscuit bread was absolutely amazing, rich, soft, and delicious (maybe a little too generous with the butter on top, but still delicious). It's a thick, hearty piece, about two inches high and roughly four inches square. The mac and cheese was a generous portion and easily enough to share, and it was really good. The homemade BBQ sauce was also a highlight. The only slight miss was my husband's Coke, which wasn't very sweet, possibly a calibration issue with the machine. Overall, this is definitely a spot worth trying if you're in Cocoa Beach and want something different. There's a lot on the menu, and we'll definitely be back.
