First time trying pancheros. The service was prompt and the location was very clean with ample seating. Ordered a veggie/cheese quesadilla and a side of chips and guacamole/queso. The food was delicious but especially the guacamole which was seasoned perfectly. The queso was also one of the best I have had from chain restaurants. Will make this a weekly regular. Okay. Nothing too fancy to write here. This pancheros hits all the marks for an average dinning experience. Nothing too crazy. When I say average, I mean, the place is always clean, the staff is decent, the food is good. Never used the bathrooms, so I can't comment on my that, but everything else is pretty average. My biggest issue with this location is that there is almost NEVER any of the tofu prepared OR it's the crumbly bits at the bottom of the pan. I stop in here maybe 2-3 times per month to grab something quick, and there has only been 1 time when there was actually tofu prepared. I'm assuming that's intentional because it happens all of the time, but I wish there was a better way to handle the supply and demand portion of that menu item. Will still stop in to get my burrito bowl every once in a while. read more

Got sick from their food. I knew it tasted off and stopped half way through my burrito. Pretty sure I got food poisoning.

Showed up to eat dinner an hour and 10 minutes before closing... Served dried out rice she scraped from the side because....she didn't want to grab more from the back. I asked if they had any fresh stuff and she said no. The chicken was at least refilled after trying to only give us a half a scoop. This was the worst burrito I have had from there... very disappointed with the north store. read more

Pancheros is Pancheros. This is a typical, fast-food, franchise, tex-mex place to eat. If you haven't been to a Pancheros the best way to describe it is like a mixture of Chipotle and Qdoba (both franchise tex-mex food). It is NOT equivalent to Chipotle or Qdoba, so don't go into Pancheros with false expectations (or high ones). The food is good, the customer service is always great, and this Pancheros is the best one in the Bismarck area (it's the cleaner, newer, more spacious one). The blue corn tortilla chips can be a little OVERLY salty, but they are tasty. read more

I ordered a salad with pork carnitas. It was very bland except for the diced jalapeños and corn salsa... the overall experience was dampened by the help. The manager was making food and getting visibly upset and almost yelling at the woman running the register who was obviously in training. I felt bad for her! She was trying to learn and he just kept calling her out for not knowing what to do in front of the long line. She needed to learn the system and he just acted inpatient and annoyed with her and customers. There were only three people working and a long line of customers and they did keep food going through fast considering... but it tasted just like blend stuff dumped in a bowl. read more

Ordered for a work lunch...or TRIED to order for a work lunch I have ordered from this Pancheros several times for work lunches, typically for 8-20 people for a build your own burrito bowl bar. Well, I called mid-afternoon yesterday to place my order for 7 build your own burrito bowl lunch, talked to a nice lady, placed my order. No contact from Pancheros, I assumed all was okay, I went to pick it up my order and all was not okay. First he said my order was not ready but it won't take long to make 6 burritos. Wait a second, I didn't order burritos! I ordered a catering order for build your own burrito BOWLS. The not very nice man stated, in many different ways, they were not capable of making a catering order for such a small about of people, they don't staff enough people to comply with this order, I didn't call during the day the previous day to order it (i called at 3 pm the day before), it's not good business to offer this type of catering orders. I stated, from a super frustrated customer, maybe he needs to contact corporate so they can update their company website to the offerings that all pancheros offers, "i did and they just run things differently down there in Iowa." I told him I did not want 6 standard burritos because that is not what my co workers will eat and I will take my business elsewhere. So, that is what we will do now. Came here for the first time, they have a Chipotle set up, it was okay, not as good as I'm use to but its North Dakota so I can't complain. The guacamole wasn't the best but again my expectations were high. I was just happy to be able to try to get something almost healthy in town, idk why people love to smother on melted cheese on everything. read more

I called to place an order, told have to place order online. Online, I ordered a Carnita burrito, yeah, one, with chips and salsa, standard ingredients total came to $12, At location, I had to WAIT for my ONLINE order, made in front of me, as the server made my order, my "online order didn't go thru". The portion was great, had to remind server I ordered chips with salsa. I was seriously disappointed. Taco Bell has so much more taste in their burritos. I must say, their chips and salsa got it going on. I'd go to Taco Bell, order 3-4 burritos (taste) and drive down road for Pancheros chips and salsa. read more

They "accidentally" charged me for an extra burrito when I was there for lunch a few weeks ago even tho the guy behind me had 2 tacos, I called them and the owner couldn't refund me but could send a a free burrito card, I went there today and they were so rude, I will never go to their establishment again, I don't appreciate being treated like I'm an inconvenience for them to wait on. read more

Best Mexican food in town!! The staff is extremely friendly, and the food is consistently amazing! The restaurant is clean, and the atmosphere is great! The location is convenient right by North Walmart across the street from skyzone. I highly recommend the Carnitas Burrito!! But let's be honest.... it's all great!! read more
