The food itself is pretty good and the employees have never been rude to me. It's the way these franchises are being ran. I've had to wait more than an hour AFTER the app says my order is supposed to be ready to get my online order that was already paid for at FOUR different locations. I thought if i tried ordering it an hour in advance or if i went to a different store, maybe I could keep getting my Panch fix.. 15 years ago the line would be out the door and around the corner in downtown Iowa City & NEVER had to wait more than 30 minutes and those poor employees had a parade of drunk college students! The service quality has taken such a nose dive within the last year that it's just not even worth it anymore. I'm totally done & it breaks my heart. I can't wait over an hour for fast food & I don't know many people who can. I'd be more understanding if it was a one off issue but clearly it's a company wide problem. read more

So this was just delivered 3 mins ago. It's nearly frozen with no rice. I was told I'd be refunded $1 for the rice. Also it's snowing we had it delivered pancheros is 2 mins from my house. My wife's burrito is cold and also teeny tiny. The guy on the phone told me I can drive in and bring back this pathetic excuse of a meal. Look HOW SMALL that potion is LOL. This must be a joke. The taste of the food is good but the portion of the burrito bowl is ridiculous for the price. I paid for extra meat and it is a pittance of a portion... no sauce or cutlery or at least napkins. Came in less than 30 minutes after they opened, every table in the building was disgusting as if they hadn't been cleaned the night before. They ignored my online order and continued to make others food first. Upon getting my food, my queso was cold, my burrito was disgusting and had 2 tortillas. The employees were not wearing uniforms, masks, and even had their hair down. They came up and said "what do you want" in a really rude tone and then seemed to space out every time you gave them and answer. They kept wandering around and seemed like they were all strung out on meth. They all ask you the same questions over and over again and get mad when they don't know the answer. read more

The dude working I think his name was Anthony was probably one of the worst employees I've experienced at a pancheros, he messed up my tortilla and instead of restarting he just adds another tortilla onto it, then he half scooped all my ingredients, then he tries to roll it and the double tortilla rips somehow and now he starts making another tortilla, it gets messed up he adds another ball of dough, then wraps my burrito in that. So now I basically am looking at a wad of dough, 4 tortillas and barely any ingredients, then on top of that he refused to give me a bowl to dump my ingredients out of the dough ball into. Customer in front of us wanted queso, so he went to get the queso with no mask, no gloves, and the queso physically dripped on his fingers and dropped back into the queso. We left. Been twice, would rather drive an extra 20 minutes to go to any other location. When you walk in there is a very long line, but the problem isn't the line, it's how slow the line moves. You make your way to the front of the line, where u don't get greeted or spoke to, as they're too busy doing togo orders, so you awkwardly stand there staring at them for like 5 minutes. They've been out of cheese both times I went, no sign on the door or anything they don't tell you until you're at the front of the line you just spent 20 minutes in... cheese is an important part of a burrito, and no quesadillas either. The rice at this location is dry, and the burrito wraps look different, they're thicker and smaller, so the wrap of the burrito doesn't get crispy or melt in your mouth. love pancheros but this isn't it. Ate half the burrito and threw the rest away. read more

I online ordered my food at 8:36 and it said it was supposed to be ready at 8:40. We walked in at 8:42 and there was a line of ten people. We waited there until 9:30 to get my burrito and they ran out of food so i didn't get my correct order. The employees yelled at each other and were rude when we were trying to get our food. Two of my teammates walked out of there without food because they wouldn't make more food to make their online order that we ordered nearly an hour ago. A have never seen such unprofessional staff. Every time I have been, they are rude and are always out of products/ingredients. I purchased a burrito on 02/12/22 at about 8:40 pm. Staff did a very poor job of wrapping the food and also did not give me a bag even though the food was not even fully covered. They looked at me as if I was dumb for asking for something that ran out on the line, but would not get more from the back almost an hour and a half before their posted closing time. read more
