Hadn't ate there in close to 2-yrs because they had become so poor at Everything & up charge for everything, which if you're a burrito place is just straight predatory. Well the more things change, the more they stay the same. Got a burrito there 4 nights ago, just under $10 and it was worthwhile, Okay. Went there again & the SAME burrito the prix charged over $16 for ... when i asked why the price difference from 4 nights ago the person claimed I was "mischarged" & I merely stayed No, you're "mischarging" Now. The Place is a JOKE, I Never eat there as it is Filthy, always taking food to go, they NEVER have the grilled vegetables for as long I can recall & when they upcharge $1 as they claim for every little things Then What Is The Initial $9 For?? A tortilla? Wrapped around rice & beans? Save yourself the aggravation & go down the road to qdoba or even over to a fargo establishment such as El Vaqueros where at least you get VALUE & QUALITY for Your Money, Not this excrement of pretend mexican that is really just over-priced taco bell putridness. The location should truly be closed until they can improve Everything across the spectrum, sincerely. It's remarkable it's been able to stay in operation since 2008. Just. Don't. do. it. They gave me the smallest scoop of rice I've ever seen. I could've gotten more rice using a teaspoon. I actually shocked. The rice container was empty and instead of getting a new container the girl just scraped the sides and gave me maybe 20 grains of rice. I asked 3 times if there was more and she just scraped the sides of the empty container and used her finger to put it in my bowl. Then when I asked for a receipt the guy said "oh I already threw it out". Terrible service, and definitely not worth the $10. read more

We just had an unfortunate experience for lunch. The man who waited on us was just rude. Not mean, not nasty, just unpleasant. He greeted us by pointing to me and saying "you." It took me a second to realize he was asking for my order. When I said, "Bowl. Chicken." Following his curt, facts only lead. I was told, "I'll walk you through the line." And he turned away. There was another customer waiting in front of me and it was clear he was waiting for his tortilla to be finished. So we waited. But come on. Could there be no acknowledgement of our humanity while we interacted? You can imagine the rest of the line walk? "Rice?" "Yup." "Meat?" "Chicken." "This stuff?" Hand waived over the rest of the items "yea.." Then, while we waited for my wife's quesadilla to finish up, he shot a glove at a co-worker. Charming. If the food was great, I honestly wouldn't care. And then I walked into the woman's bathroom...ugh. I'll drive to Chipotle next time. read more

I am a basketball coach for a college and we come to Moorhead quite frequently for basketball games. We typically choose qdoba and never have any issues with it. So I decided to try something different and test out Pancheros. I love Pancheros and figured my team would too. We had about 20 orders which I know is a lot but that's over 200 dollars of business in one order for them, so typically we do not have any issues with restaurants making it work for us. I called them about 5 hours ahead of time just to give them a heads up and let them know we would be coming, I had order sheets all made up and ready to go. When I called them they seemed confused and that they wouldn't be able to do that because we'd probably be there after 9 which is after closing. But I said we could pay up front and just make sure that we could come grab it and be on our way. But they made it pretty clear that they couldn't help us no matter what we did. So I called qdoba and asked if it would be an issue for them, of course it was not an issue and said they would have it made for us and ready when we were done with our game. I really like Pancheros but if they didn't want our business there's plenty of places out there that do. read more

Have eaten here twice now. I have liked it moderately both times. First time I had a burrito. I do not like the mixing of the kinds. There shall be no mixing of the kinds. I like the fresh made tortillas. Today I had two tacos. Veggie with black beans and hot sauce. Just the right amount of food for me and under$5! That's a bonus. Next time I think I will try chips with queso sauce. Not sure my palate is quite Midwestern enough for the queso sauce. I do not like their guacamole. It does not taste fresh to me Here is the obvious comparison Chipotle tastes better and I appreciate their commitment to local, ethically raised ingredients. Pancheros is closer to my house, less likely to have a line and has really awesome hot sauce. read more

My recent trip to this restaurant means the end of my visits to Pancheros. We visited with the intent of using my free reward I had built up due to frequent visits. When I walked in I opened up the app and went to rewards, and it said to wait until I am physically in the store before redeeming it, so as I was standing in line, I did so. After clicking redeem, it said I had 10 minutes to redeem, and started counting down. The line in front of us moved very slowly, by the time I was able to order there was about 2 minutes left in the timer. I told the employee that was taking our order, she said take a screenshot, it'll be fine. So we complete the order, I tell the guy who is checking us out what happened, he tried to scan it, did not work. He got his manager, he told us there is nothing he can do about it. So we walked out, and I don't plan on going back. I understand why coupons expire, but 10 minutes seems extreme. The app should tell you to wait until you are checking out before you redeem, or increase the timer to account for slow service or a long line. read more

I feel like I've gone to long to speak but. I used to work here in 2017. I only worked there for 3 months and it was the worst experience ever. And I have had many wonderful jobs. My first impression when I walked in was this is the most dirtiest place I've ever worked in. The owner could barely train me well and I ended up having a coworker train me but he quit cause nobody else would help me (and other reasons). They brought beer in the back for everyone to drink and share. And let coworkers vape up the whole kitchen. And I'm pretty sure I smelled cigarette smoke once from the freezer but that was never confirmed. If we did something wrong there were extra "punishment" chores we had to do. (Again I was only there for 3 months) And also there was a coworker who got arrested for putting a camera in the women's restroom. When I watched the interview I cringed so hard. (They did a Background check my a**) I got sick of this place really quick. And the boss was happy to let me quit.. Majority of my bosses I've ever had were very happy to have me. Except him.... i still like the food on rare occasions but never the Moorhead location. read more

Just moved to the area and thought I'd try somewhere I've never been before.... similar to Chipotle and Qdoba but this place actually makes the tortillas fresh right in front of your eyes! Really enjoyed the chips and cheese which is a million times better then Chipotle and Qdoba. Had a steak burrito for my entree and was pleasantly surprised. After they pile on all of your ingredients they mix them up so that every bite has a little bit of everything. Will be going back and recommend everyone give them a try. read more

Love the taste of their burritos especially with tofu option. This restaurant is not too far south of interstate. Clean, friendly, but no changing table or whole wheat tortillas. Black beans were yummy though. read more

The gal was horrendously rude, 0 customer service and really hostile. We waited for 10 minutes before even being helped. Refused to give us to go containers for hot sauce. We asked for a steak burrito and we got THREE PIECES OF STEAK FOR THE WHOLE BURRITO?! They had the whole burrito bar covered so we couldn't see what our options even were. They didn't remove their gloves or change gloves between preparing food and using the till. We are beyond disgusted and upset and I can't believe how we were treated. They refused to even give us a receipt, so I can't even call corporate with my order number or her name. What a waste. read more

I love how they mix your burrito so that you don't just get rice in one bite. Their queso is great, not too spicy and the fresh tortilla is delicious. However, it seems to be very inconsistent. Good food one day and not so good the next. I will add that their queso is much better than Qdoba. read more

Food is decent but portion size to price is not. They were so painfully careful of the amount of each ingredient they add... I think if they had more time they would count each grain of rice. They wanted a extra money for many of the toppings. read more

Sorry to say.... I won't be back, after three attempts. I like the idea of a fresh tortilla. It smells great. And I like that they offer a "Tofu-sada" for the hungry vegan. But, Lord have mercy! - the salt content is through the roof! Three visits in one week, and each time my tongue was left tingling and swollen. Why so salty???? Lighten up! Is salt what passes for flavor these days? If it weren't for the sodium levels, I would be here twice a week. read more
