I don't know why there aren't more reviews here. Others have written reviews on Google Plus, Trip Advisor, and Urban Spoon... Anyway! I took the advice of a friend and went here for breakfast this Saturday morning. First impression: dining room spotless and nicely decorated. We were pleasantly greeted and immediately seated. Our waitress was very attentive and brought our coffee right away (which was very good, not watered down). Breakfast was great: I got the Huevos Con Chorizo and they were very good. My husband got the Huevos a La Mexicana and said the same. Generous portions. Apparently we need to go back for dinner because they have FREE margaritas! read more

Some really good Mevican food here. The chips were some of the best I've had as thet came out warm and crisp. The Panchito sampler was more food than I could finish. The refried beans were excellent. They did not come from a can, that's for sure. My wife had enchiladas and said they were very tasty. The service was good. The atmosphere was pretty much just a standard sit down restaurant. We will be back as it was really good food for the price. read more

Panchito's is a GREAT spot. They used to be part of the Garcia's chain, and sold out. Updated the menu to a few original items. Check out the breakfast burritos, street tacos (barbacoa!), and fajitas. they also have a warm chile salsa available, upon request. They are extremely friendly and extremely fast. Very reasonable, too. I can get three street tacos for under $7, so lunch is very reasonable. You've got to check them out! read more

Chips and salsa was good. Margaritas are free, limit 2 per person, because they don't have a liquor license. I ordered a rib eye and it was very bland. I should know better not to order steak from a Mexican place. Everyone else enjoyed their food. I would defiantly come back when I am in town. read more

We were looking for a different TexMex place after 27 years of eating in the same one and tried Panchito's. Very nice place just outside of town. Very clean and well organized. Since they don't have a liquor license they offer FREE margaritas. I don't do margaritas so I can't tell if any good but they were passing a lot of them out. I had the sampler platter and it was excellent and a lot of food. Sallie had chalupas and she said they were also excellent. We will be back and bringing beer. read more

The food is ok, the wait staff tends to be on the rude side. The owner is not to kindest, which is unfortunate. The chips aren't great, the salsa isn't great. The food seems very homemade..... but not in a good way. It doesn't seem like any effort was put in at all. If you go for breakfast don't order eggs. Their "green salsa" is habanero not tomatillos so don't be fooled. They also serve it warm and being someone who comes from southern Arizona where we have some amazing Mexican food, that is very strange. Also what is up with the Enchilada sauce in this area, no one seems to know how to make it. Anyway, wouldn't recommend this place because the overall experience is not great, but the food is always cooked to order and hot. read more

Pretty good food and reasonable prices. The staff are attentive, even when busy and the Margaritas are free! You won't be disappointed.

I am giving it two stars because our waitress was really nice. But for us, the food didn't have any flavor and was very bland. Honestly Taco Casa was better. Not to be mean just being honest, like I said really friendly people but I won't be back. read more

Me and my wife decided to try this place after looking at the reviews and glad we did! Chip and salsa was great with just the right amount of kick. I ordered the fajitas tacos special and they were awesome. Great flavors all the way down to the beans and rice. My wife have enchiladas and said they were the best she had ever had. Absolutely the WORST food We have ever seen (because We wouldn't eat it) ever. We went there on a Saturday morning about 8:30 am due to a recommendation. My wife and I noticed a foul smell when we entered but were still willing to give it a try. We each ordered the breakfast tacos with egg, cheese and potato. When they came out they were basically rubber tortillas folded in half whit a half of a tea spoon of egg, one piece of potato and the cheese was cold. We left the food on the plate, paid and left, never to return. With so many excellent places in Granburry, don't waste your time and money here!!! read more

We eat here a lot. It's authentic and really good food! The street tacos are out of this world!

I have drove by several times and the parking lot is always packed. I finally decided to go here with the wife and kid. I got the super tacos which are corn tortillas with prime rib, they were fantastic. My wife gets chicken flautas no matter what mexican place we go to or how many times. They were delicious as well. The chips and salsa were good, thats usually how I decide if I like a mexican place. Oh and dont forget about the free margaritas! read more

The absolute best chile relleno I have ever had. The place was just as the reviews said: clean, great service, reasonable prices etc and so forth. We went at 4pm and were the only customers there for the first part of our experience. The waiter was attentive but didn't hover. Everything we tried was good. I loved the rice. It was perfect. I was iffy about the spinach enchilada. My dining companion said he thought it had vinegar in the spinach. It wasn't bad it was just different. I highly recommend this place. I live very close to this restaurant and decided to give them a try. I was pleasantly surprised. The chalupas are fresh and delicious. The chips and salsa is great and I had the shrimp with chipotle sauce which was excellent. The prices are excellent also. This has now become my go to Mexican restaurant. This isn't the best Tex-Mex I've ever had but it's pretty high on the list. The restaurant is always clean, service is fast and friendly. The prices are great, especially the lunch menu. I love the flautas and the fajita nachos. The rice is perfect, lots of flavor, not too dry and not too moist. I'm picky about my rice. The salsa is amazing, I want the recipe but the waitress wouldn't give it to me. The best thing about this restaurant is that they serve free margaritas after five! I love it. This is definitely one of those hole in the wall joints that you might pass by if you aren't looking, and it's on the edge of town so if you don't know it's here, you probably won't find it. The beef fajitas, flautas and chicken enchiladas all are perfect and some of the best I've had. Panchito's food is a little more authentic than most Mexican restaurants but still has a Tex-Mex taste. read more

Worst customer service EVER! Everyone's order took over 20 min to get to us. We had no chips and salsa while the table beside me had chips and salsa right when they sat down . We literally had to go to the kitchen to get helped! No refills, no salsa, no service! We didn't even get a pancake that came with the meal and asked for it 3 different times and lady told us that it was coming then when we asked to get our check......bam a pancake and mind you there was only 4 other tables........all in all horrible service food was NOTHING to come for! Just felt I needed to share my personal experience hope I can save someone else from this horrible experience! read more

After placing our to-go order over the phone (as we do often) I was told the food would be ready in 20-25 minutes. When I arrived after 30 minutes I saw an order sitting on the counter which I thought must be mine. When greeted I was asked the name on the order & then told it was not ready. She said she would check with the kitchen... After waiting 10 minutes I was asked by someone else the name on my order & again told it was not ready that they would check with the kitchen. It was only after returning that they finally asked what was ordered & then answered "oh, it's right here". It had been sitting there the whole time! I was then told that we must have given the wrong name (I assure you I know my husband's name) then with no apology I was charged full price. After returning home almost 20 minutes later than expected I called the restaurant & asked to speak to the mgr. I was told that she was the owner & since she didn't know me I must not be that good of a customer. She offered to refund my money if I made an additional trip to the restaurant to return all the food & still did not apologize. When she asked what I really wanted I explained that at very least I expected an apology to which I heard nothing but dead air. I cannot believe the lack of customer service. After all that I ate my last (of course by now cold) Garcia's meal. read more
