Food was way too salty and tasted like it was burnt. I asked for extra spicy and it was not spicy at all. I would not recommend this place at all. Also when an order was ready it was placed on the counter and people stood around not knowing whose order it was. The least they could do is call the order or something. Don't waste your money. This is pretty much the worst Chinese food I have ever had. It's very cheap, but even when the store is empty the wait is almost unbearable and the food is horrible. I would say it's bland, but it's salty. And that's it. You don't get the flavors of your usual favorite Chinese dish. You get salt. I have eaten here twice, and that's generous. If you're craving Chinese takeout in the Zanesville area, this is where you should go. Food is made quickly, atmosphere is friendly and casual. I got there and had forgotten my wallet, so I had to drive home to get it. When I got back to the restaurant, they had remembered my order and set to making it very quickly. Very affordable--I got fried rice, wontons and an egg roll and it came to a little over $5. They loaded my takeout container with rice, it really is a lot of food for how much you pay! This was the grossest experience with quazi-chinese food I've ever had. I mean, I don't expect much for the middle of nowhere, but good lord. The sauce was what made it all unbearable. The chicken was cooked perfect, the veggies were crisp, but the taste was so overpowering, not even the most pleasant of textures could have saved it. I was so disappointed when I saw that the sauce saturated my white rice. Terrible. Please do yourself a favor and just find a recipe to make at home. Cheaper and tastier too. not bad for the most part we here somewhat frequently, i recommend the Mongolian beef over the lo-mein instead of rice the lo-mein is excellent and its cooked fresh unlike the rice. the orange chicken and sweet and sour chicken are also pretty good. general tsaos is OK but lacking some flavor same with the fried rice, but if in the S. Zanesville area and looking for decent Chinese take out on the fly this is a good choice. read more
