This Panda Express is the worst one I've been to. Even the mall locations serve higher quality food. I ordered delivery through their Panda Express App and did not receive my full order. Apparently they use Door dash to fulfill delivery orders, so I contacted the delivery driver and he said that he picked up the order they gave him. I reviewed the temporary emailed receipt from DoorDash and saw that the order total was $50.00. However the food I ordered totalled + $72.00.At first I figured it was a technical issue or item I ordered was sold out, I was hoping that the $72.00 charge from Panda Express would be later resolved through an automatic refund of for the food I did not receive...NOPE! Up till today Panda Express has not corrected or refunded the $20 they owe me. I find it disappointing and weird that a multi- million dollar franchise has failed to correct the issue since December 14th. I have contacted their support and have not received any response. They don't care to take steps to correct mistakes so I guess customers don't matter but your money is still gladly accepted. ....Thieves You are better off going elsewhere for American Chinese food, this location is terrible. They half fill the a la carte cartons and alot of their protein dishes are mostly onions and vegetables. Their fried rice is tasteless boiled rice, you can make fried rice 10000% better just by following any youtube video, the dishes with vegetables are raw and if they forget an item in your order they'll gladly take your money and will not resolve the issue. This has got to be the worst place to get fast food. The same rude non speaking English Asian woman is still here marking the same dumb mistakes and can't multi task. She will just ignore you when you come back to notify her you got the wrong plate. Then since there is so much disorganization you get some lady ordering 10 plates in front of you and holding up the line because they can't make enough fresh food to fill the plates! Very disappointed with our take out order. We usually go to the Balfour PE in Brentwood but the wait was much longer. Our food was very sparse at this restaurant. This location is incompetent at filling orders. This is the third time now that my order does not match . They don't answer their phones. Ordered online pick up as usual since their lines are obnoxiously long & I did the family meal. Ordered two sides of chow mein which is stated on the receipt yet I got one chow mein and one fried rice. The first time I got home and they gave my the complete wrong pick up order and had to go back and pick up my order. The second time they didn't include one whole bowl of the order and they even "checked" it off on the receipt . Went today around 5pm and had my first bad experience here. It wasn't busy; someone was at the register, but nobody in line. I was waiting almost 5 minutes before someone said anything to me. They all looked at me but didn't say a word. I ordered my sides, then the worker walked away to the back without saying anything. I ordered teriyaki chicken but there was no teriyaki sauce on the chicken or in the bag. The workers were not friendly nor very attentive. We've not had a bad experience yet at this location. We order online and pick up in store, easy peasy, quick, delicious and accurate. Always on time. Our most recent orders I've even started adding "3 soy sauce, 2 sweet and sour, 3 teriyaki" etc in the special instructions and they've always gotten it accurate. I hate wasting, so when we order and I know they're going to put more sauce than we personally need in our family, I like to specify to save the items + their money. So it is nice to see a business really read the request in the Instruction box. I have eaten at many Panda Express locations in the Bay Area, and the manager at this location (Christine), is the rudest employee I have encountered. She is skimpy on her servings, rude when you ask for any soy sauce or teriyaki sauce, etc. I have frequented Panda Express locations for more then 10 years, but the will be my last visit to this one. Christine's consistent rudeness on my last 4 visits to this location have forced me to drive to an alternate location. I've been to this location many times in the past. My last visit was in December of 2019. I order a two item dinner on line and went to pick it up. When I arrived the order was incomplete and when I mentioned it, the person helping me just walked away. They did return with the missing item and when I said thank you they walked away without a word. Rude wouldn't be the right thing to say. They were just completely indifferent. When I got home and sat down to eat the food was beyond unediable. The pot stickers were so hard and crunchy that they could have broken a tooth. The fired rice was the same. It was the consistency of uncooked rice and to hard to eat. Obviously these items had been sitting under a heat lamp for hours. The main dishes were sweet fire chicken and string bean chicken. Both were small portions and the sweet fire chicken was also old and warmed one time to often. The string beans were shriveled and dry. Over all the meal was in a word horrible. I've been to this place a few times and the line is always long, and they move so slow compared to other locations. I figured I'd try ordering online this time to save myself some time. We ordered a bowl, 2 plates, and a bigger plate. The bigger plate was completely missing the orange chicken. There's no way to contact them to report this other than calling the location directly. I tried calling 8 times over the course of an hour but gave up because no one answers the phone. It's just an automated message saying no one is available to answer, and then it hangs up. Panda Express is to Chinese food what Taco Bell is to Mexican food. If you're expecting high quality meals, don't come here. You'll have better luck at a hole in the wall restaurant. Compared to the location in Brentwood this one has a lot better chefs. I don't get food poisoning at this Panda so that was my first tip off. It's better designed on the inside where the decor looks more updated and spacious, with a variety of seating. My bad, it's high tables with bar stools or regular tables with good ol' chairs. There's is more parking availability and more accessibility if you're in a wheelchair. The staff is hit and miss. Friendly at times, vacant at others. The lines at this location feel like they're going faster than the one in Brentwood, but then again, there's more room to form a line rather than waiting outside the door. I ordered the $6.29, 2-entree plate with chow mein, honey walnut shrimp and broccoli beef. Now they tell you right away when you order the shrimp that it costs $1.00 extra....mmmmmkay. The order was to go and packaged like any other fast 'Chinese' food place. The chow mein was dry and in my opinion Safeway makes better. The shrimp were big and thinly breaded, honey sauce was good but there were very few walnuts. Boo. The broccoli beef was meh...Safeway's is better. The beef almost tasted fake, like not even real beef or something like freeze dried meat. For this being my first time and I did like the honey walnut shrimp, I'll probably be back to give them another try. My son had been here before so he knew what to get. He also got the 2-entree plate with fried rice and double orange chicken. He loves the orange chicken. I loved it too! I bogarted his plate! Hahaha! Beijing Beef is also very good, but shares the same heart-healthy concerns. When I was seriously watching my weight - I would do the white rice and black pepper chicken, and it was very good. My real gripe about Panda Express is their ordering system. Sure, you can see all the food, and it appears on the surface to be efficient. However, at nearly every Panda that I have patronized, the food is not in order when it gets to the register - and not just within the same party (i.e. my meal is about to be purchased by the persons in front of me in line - or vice versa). This gives me the uncomfortable feeling that, in spite if all the employees being confident in their system, I am not being charged appropriately. I actually placed an order online at 8:06 p.m. For whatever reason the order wasn't going to be ready until 8:54. I arrived at 8:58 and, not only wasn't the order ready, but they didn't have pot stickers. Silly me to think that they would have still filled the order and just let me pick the replacement item when I got there OR called me to find out what I wanted in exchange. So, I waited more than fifteen minutes for them to fill the order and had a chance to glance around....at the dirty floors and tables. Sigh. The meat that is placed in the bowl is getting lesser and lesser. You can actually count it, the last time I bought was only 4 pieces of meat and the rest was noodles. I think they are trying to do it in purpose. Make sure you check your bowl before leaving otherwise you will just be eating more rise or noodles instead. I've been to this location a couple times now and the food is pretty fresh and quick and easy... Love the value and the variety of food. Price is very fair... And now I get to Big Box because that's the best bang for your buck... Although it's way too much food for one person. Although it is a lot of food and should be split up... I seem to always pound it all by myself... With a small stomach ache to follow... But the good stomach ache not the bad kind. :-) this location is a great place... Pretty good first time visit today. It was about 11:30am when I showed up and there were two people ahead of me. It took nearly 10 minutes to get to me, which is a bit long when all of the food is prepared and ready to be slapped on a plate. The server was nice. Offered me a free sample of a shrimp that tasted pretty good. I ended up with some chowmein which was pretty generic but not horrible. Something I would order again if I came here. Paired it the mixed veggies and the spicy/sweet chicken. It was all pretty good. Seems to be a lot of seating. As I ate my lunch, I noticed a very long line forming that seemed to take forever to get through. I am glad I came when I did. First, it's Panda Express. My rating is based upon knowing this. It is not gourmet cuisine. It's quick and inexpensive Oriental food. I visit this location a few times a month and have not had a bad meal. The employees are always fast and friendly. The food is always consistent. Ordered online yesterday as I do once a month. Unfortunately when I arrived at home (20minutes away) I realized the bigger plate was missing the teriyaki chicken. When I called they asked me to drive back for it. Once I asked for a simple refund on the chicken itself they informed me they couldn't and I would need to come back to pick it up. When asked to talked to a manger, they asked me to call back in 10minutes because all managers where busy. I then asked for a DSM's number and Trish came on the phone. She informed me that she would refund me the chicken tonight because she couldn't do at the moment as they were super busy. Woke up this morning and still no transaction showing any refund. This panda is my preference to come to sadly because it's the closest to my job. The staff tonight on 8/20/2020 was very talkative and not attentive what so ever to the guests, and were just goofing off dropping items and touching each other's shirts and what not( not very clean, no gloves were changed). I felt as though it was an issue that I ordered orange chicken because they didn't have any at 8:50 and they close at 9:30 and the cook sighed very loud and rolled his eyes. It's your job to make guests feel comfortable and welcomed and I didn't feel that at all.
