First and foremost, I'd like to give a huge thank you to Jeanette for being such a wonderful host and treating us like family. She is a key reason as to why we want to keep coming back; her attitude and enthusiasm is fantastic. Me and my family enjoyed our dinner and loved every dish we ordered. Their wonton soup is an excellent choice for a starter and can be shared up to at least 3 people. The wontons are fresh and tasty, the mushrooms are chunky and complement well with the bakchoy. There's even thinly sliced red pork which adds some taste and texture to the soup. We thoroughly enjoyed their spicy Mongolian chow fun. This had some sweetness to it but also some heat which was just right. The beef was super tender! It melts in your mouth. My wife ordered the Sun Kitchen sushi special which was delicious and had big pieces. The quality of sushi here is great! My son enjoyed his bento box which consisted of teriyaki grilled chicken, salad with creamy sesame dressing and then large pieces of vegetable tempura. This is an excellent deal with a good amount of choices to choose from. Jeanette and Tony frequently stopped by to check on us and made sure our meals were good and our drinks were refilled. They are so accommodating and inviting. The music they were playing in the background was on point! They were playing smooth R&B in which me and my wife were dancing. It's spacious inside the restaurant and can hold a good amount of guests. I will say, I wish the temperature was cooler inside; it was a bit warm but didn't really bother us. Went here to get some Chinese food/ Japanese food. They have both. I opt to order a Bento box and it came with miso soup. In my opinion the soup was a little too salty. My bf ordered the chow mein and potstickers. The chow main was ok but I'm not really a chow mein type of girl. Potstickers lets just say we had better. My Bento box had salmon And tempura with shrimp. Salmon was a little dry for my liking and tempura was just ok. The restaurant is very old and to me it needs a little upgrade. Very very tasty! We enjoyed the pork bao, wonton soup, wor wonton soup, and sesame chicken. Both the regular wonton soup and wor wonton soup were excellent, with quality broth and the wontons themselves were clearly freshly made. The sesame chicken hit all the right notes as well. We found the white sticky rice to be decent. Everything in our delivery order arrived hot and well-packaged. Portions were good and pricing was reasonable for the quality. Based on food alone, this would easily be a regular rotation spot for us on those cold, sicky days when you just need a hot soup. My only hesitation in giving full marks is seeing a hand washing violation on their recent health inspection. While the food quality suggests they take pride in their cooking, basic food safety is non-negotiable. I'm hoping this was an isolated incident that's been addressed! We'll keep an eye on that and definitely consider coming back for more brothy goodness. read more

The green beans were cooked but also still had crunch to it and I literally ate all the beans and left the meat for my husband. Vegetable fried rice - 9/10 They actually used real veggies along with the regular veggies they have in any fried rice. It was really cool to see other veggies in it. Crab ragoon - 9/10 Hubby loved it, but I wish it was pipping hot because I just love my food hot as hell. Ordered a Beef teriyaki bento box but the meat looked like boiled meat. It was sad and gross looking. My daughter ordered the Salmon Teriyaki Bento box and she didn't touch the whole fish. Flavorless and No teriyaki sauce in sight! We brought the meat home to our dog, at least it didn't go to waist. We also ordered a Beef Chow Fun that was taken to another table and then the dish was sent back and guy walked over to place it on our table. I guess they don't care about cross contamination! I had to send it back. We ordered two beef Udon soups that never came. By then we just asked for our check. It took them a long time to bring us our check and also to ring us up. Sadly won't be returning. We should have just went with our original plan to dine at Misaka. Seems like this restaurant is ran by Chinese people and probably should just stick with Chinese food. Today, we opted for Chinese and ordered their combination of Foo Yung and Basil eggplant with tofu. The service is fast as we got our orders within 10 minutes. The menu is big in portions. You will know that the food came out of the kitchen fresh and just cooked. The Foo Yung is like an omelette topped with a combination of beef and shrimp. It's delicious and the beef was tender. The basil eggplant and tofu are also good. The eggplant tasted fresh and delicious. The tofu is also soft. We ordered the Moo Goo Chicken and Udon Vegetable Soup for carry out. The Moo Goo had nice sized pieces of chicken with lots of fresh vegetables in a nice sauce. The mushrooms were outstanding! The udon soup came in two separate containers - a large one with all the yummy veggies and noodles, and a smaller one with the broth (miso?). My wife had the honey walnut prawns, chow mein, soup and eggroll. We both liked our lunch, mine was a tad on the spicy side but nothing horrible - and I'm a wimp when it comes to spicy. It was great value for the price. The owner/manager came to our table to make sure we enjoyed our meal, and emphasized they were open 365 days a year - even Christmas and New Year's.
