Just no!! I keep going, I never learn! From never having menu items, long wait, to wrong orders, now today I get a family meal and open it up and the honey walnut shrimp is only 3/4 filled? The other boxes are filled up but I guess you pay more for less here. Never again Canby!!

Food looks like it sat for hours. Ugh

I can't express how bummed I am about this location. The kids who work here are just unsocial and the young cooks refuses to cook the chains recipes. Always different then other locations. I had a horrible experience recently, where one of the kids was witnessed sticking their fingers, into peoples to go containers. . I attempted to inform the manager Jose Santiago but he couldn't be bothered.

Just got home to find out this is what we got for $32. Pretty sure they messed up our order. We were supposed to get 3 full size entrees and 2 full sized sides. This isn't even close. What a rip-off $15 would be a stretch for this.

Review: Legit Smashburgers and a Gem of an Atmosphere!…read moreRating: We had a fantastic Saturday night at Poundtown Smashburger! The cart is perfectly situated at the end of the pod near a cozy outdoor heater, which was exactly what we needed for a chilly January evening. As the wife of a "social media burger celebrity," I can confirm these are legit smashburgers. For those who don't know, a proper smashburger isn't just a flat patty; it's a ball of fresh beef smashed once onto a screaming-hot griddle to trigger the Maillard reaction. This creates those signature "lacey" crispy edges and a deep caramelized crust while locking all the juices in the center. Our order was spot on: Double Smash with Bacon and Jalapeño: Perfectly seasoned with that aggressive sear we look for. OG Burgers: At $4.00, these are an absolute steal in 2026. No customizations needed--they are perfect as-is. The Bun: A major standout! It was a soft, locally sourced brioche that held up beautifully to the juicy patties without getting soggy. Beyond the food, the atmosphere at The Beer Library is incredible. The renovation of the old library is stunning--it's modern and cozy with a fantastic selection of brews. It truly feels like a neighborhood gem. All in all, a great experience and great service --we will definitely be back!

It was a little messy to eat so we had to use a fork but thats OK because the flavor was outstanding. The real star of the show were the wild fries. They remained crispy despite an abundance of cheese sauce, sweet grilled onions, and Riz sauce. They were f-ing delicious!! Great spot and even better name!!

Everyone's prices seem to be going up, I would think that Carl's is probably on the high end.... If you're smart you will get the Big Hamburger and pay for the extras you want - it's way cheaper than the rest of their offerings, just not quite as "fancy" (I know, an oxymoron for fast food, huh?) it was too good to be true - they "parked" my car as I went through the drive through tonight - I wanted some more crisp burritos. I waited 8 minutes until I went inside to go get my food. That's craptastic - if you send someone around to park because the food isn't ready, you don't have any excuse to let their food just sit once it's done. boo. I've already waited longer than I should, you should get it out to be pronto. Next time I'll just sit where I am at the window in your little drive through until you get me my food, that should help you expedite my order. This Carl's / Green Burrito is one I go to often - it's probably the closest place to where I live. The food is always served hot, they have never messed up the many orders I have placed and when you eat in, they bring you your food. I've always been met with cheerful staff. I tried the BBQ nachos last night - weird idea, but they were really quite good. The jalapeno's really spiced it up and I was happy. While a little more generous serving of the BBQ wouldn't hurt, I walked in, they greeted me cheerfully, happily explained what this new offering was, took my order and then brought it out to me quickly. It was hot, it was delicious - what more could you ask for? (It just feels wrong to give a fast food joint 5 stars, and like I said, it would have been better with more bbq). Their breakfast burritos are the wife's favorites - it's sad that they are not offering any breakfast specials like Jack in the Box and some of the other places are offering. I was jazzed with their biscuits when they first came out but something doesn't quite work as well as it did before. I had the crispy burritos today for lunch and they are also very tasty. I feel like Carl's has a wide selection that should appeal to almost any one. The fresh salsa bar is a big plus, so it would just be wrong to give it less than 3 stars, until they treated me like crap tonight, now it would be unjust to even give them 3 stars. On balance it is a 3 star place that didn't do a great job that night I liked it, I might keep going there,

The main portion has a retro diner feel, obviously deliberate given the juke box. A separate indoor room adjacent to the main one has six tables and an indoor play area - and it's one of the excellent ones. A low slide for the really small kids (my under-two loved it), a big multi-level play structure up in the air, accessed by a spiral stair in an enormous plastic tree, and a long spiral slide down. There's also a "talking tube" from the ground up to the top. My oldest begs for it now. The employees are nice, and the noise from the play structure is pretty confined to the room it's in, only excepting when the door is open. (But most of the main room seating is away from that door, except the long counter facing the kids room - watch yours without the noise, anyone?) Seriously, this is a really good McDonald's.

Let's see how the food is. Maybe I came in at the wrong time? I'm pretty sure my presence is not wanted. Not the best feel when you're trying to have lunch. Every item was dropped on the table with a clash of glass from the table top, and plates/bowls. Then slid over to me. If the food was 10 then maybe it wouldn't have bothered me. But the food was basic. The spring rolls and hot and sour soup were the highlights. The crispy wrapper, tasty fillings, with their sauce was good. The hot and sour soup pushed me into some childhood nostalgia, and points are won there. The general tso chicken was odd. The breading in the chicken was on some pieces and not others. There's a bath of sauce on the plate, and any crispness of breading was gone. The taste was okay. But with a lack of spiciness, and no peppers to be seen in the sauce, it was mostly just really sweet. The pork fried rice had a few small piece of pork and no veggies like a normal pork fried rice (peas and carrots??)... overall it was bland. It also didn't blend as a great soaker for the generals sauce. Overall the main plate also looked a bit monotone in color. The flavors weren't horrible. It was overall average, with an ok experience. I may come back and try again. Maybe it's just an off day.

And I should have stopped there and left. Now the quantity of the food was generous, especially the chicken lumps, I will give them that. The chicken came as 3/4 inch diameter breaded lumps and had been deep fried. Then the red sweet sauce coated most of the lumps. As for flavor, about all I could taste was the sweet sauce. Seemed I was eating red candy. I eventually used my generous napkin to wipe off as much of the sauce as I could. Note I've said nothing about sour here. Just red sauce - no onions, no peppers, no other vegetables in the sweet red sauce. The fried, about a cup's worth, rice had rare tiny pork(?) pieces and no recognizable vegetables. Flavor was ok although tasted like something was a bit (old?). The spring roll was deep fried and didn't have much flavor. I dipped in the sweet sauce. Which was better than the little dish of? Maybe it was the sweet and sour sauce? So the good news here was the deep fryer oil wasn't too old. I did not try the Chinese hot mustard.
