I've been here a couple of times and over all I have not been this disappointed. Staff is friendly and they greet you as soon as you walk in through the door. My go to entrées are the orange chicken and the broccoli and beef. The food is made rather fresh and you can see the chefs cooking behind the glass. My most recent visit the orange chicken was a little off I think they put too much vinegar in the sauce. The food was absolutely horrible. The chicken and green beans was terrible. It was all green beans. There was no chicken in it and my other combination was Ethan broccoli and the beef was absolutely horrid. They had no ice in the pot machine and the pop was warm it would seem that they have a new crew but they definitely needed more help. I was there a few months ago and it was fine. What's really annoying about this location is that online orders are ALWAYS prioritized over the in-person line. Doesn't matter if they see a line 10 people deep, they stop the entire line to fill online orders. So many times I've seen the last of dishes I want scooped up and put into someone's online order box. They need to figure out a way to balance this. read more

Extremely busy during our 6 guy and girl drop in around 6:30 on a Friday but well worth the wait for an easy $7 n change filling protein heavy plate and good healthy greens to go. We know there is way too much sodium in these dishes which is not healthy at all but good to see a tasty alternative to typical even unhealthier fast food. Waste of $25. Threw it away. It looks like you are ordering for the restaurant to deliver. In reality, it is DoorDash. Had that been disclosed, I would not have ordered, as I have never had a good experience with Door Dash or Grub Hub in Champaign. Order was over 20 minutes late because Door Dash changed the address. I entered it correctly per the confirmation email from Panda Express, which also made no mention of Door Dash. I live on Brookshire E. Door Dash attempted to deliver to Brookshire W. Then called because they could not find the house. When the order arrived, the bag was mangled. All the sauce was spilled all over and it was pretty cold. I have eaten at this location several times a month for 3 years, today will be my last. There is a woman who works there who gives her friends huge amounts of food then rings up total for a fraction of the cost. This happens frequently. Today I waited 17 minutes for someone to wait on me the only one in there working was the cook. When I asked is anyone working here he just replied yes. I asked him can someone take my order he said nothing kept cooking. After 17 minutes of waiting for anyone to show up someone from the back came out. Sweet and fire is what I wanted no pineapple in it and three tiny pieces of chicken is all I got. Needed a place to eat during Black Friday shopping. Didn't want to eat in the mall food court, so we made our way over to Panda Express since we had to do more shopping on Prospect. There was no line when we got there. My mom was able to try something new. And our dish was served up quickly. My mom and I shared a platter. The only "hiccup" was that they put my water cup inside my mom's soda cup and I didn't notice. So I just filled the cup and had to go back for a water cup. lol. It seems the place really cares about cleanliness - one of the young workers was cleaning while we were there. Food was good and plenty for the two of us. read more

A new favorite! Wanting more veggies in my diet, this place is good, fresh - from their veggie portions of kale, cabbage and broccoli; and the fried rice - to the good choices of meats. The best to me are the kung pao chicken - or the more caloric/sugar teriyaki chicken - but also try the Shanghai angus steak- too bad it has mushrooms but most of you may like that. Okay just to start, this is a Panda express. It's definitely not the beeeest Chinese food place out there but I can appreciate the food. It is probably the cleanest Chinese fast food I can eat. I have no idea what it is, but I can consistently eat here and not get sick. I don't know if there is MSG or isn't or what but it's just a personal experience and YMMV. Shout out to the Lo Mein for being al dente like I like em. Overall, everything on the menu isn't too die for but definitely good enough for a quick bite. Food poisoning. Ordered lunch at 12:00 and within two hours of eating, (~1:30) I had awful stomach pains, diarrhea, and vomited what I ate. At one point I was in so much pain I was contemplating going to hospital. OMG I felt like I was dying! Was walking in circles trying to feel better. I called to report it to the restaurant, and the manager told me it was not food poisoning, and I would have to wait until tomorrow to call if I felt badly. He proceeds to tell me no one else has called and food poisoning doesn't happen that quick and it could be something else I ate. (FYI this was the only thing I have eaten today.) Never once did he ask me what I ordered or ate, offer me any sympathy of my current condition, or ask how they could make it right. No facts were gathered.
