I love this place. It's quick, filling, and satisfying. The Sweetfire Chicken breast is my favorite. It's breaded and comes with red bell peppers and pineapple. It had a zing but wasn't really all that spicy. I like to mix it with different things, but it didn't mix well with the Steak and Shrimp. The Kung Pao Chicken packs a punch. I notice on the online menu it doesn't list sun dried red peppers but I definitely had some in the one I got. I gotta say that they killed the flavor a teeny tiny bit and I only ate a few of them before I realized what was killing me and stopped. The fried rice tasted pretty terrible until I added some Sweet and Sour sauce but in general I just avoid it and stick with the chow mein. I came in early in the day shortly after opening, and the food looked great, fresh and piping hot. At that hour I expected nothing less. Guy behind the counter was very patient & helpful while I was trying to barrow down what I wanted but still appease the eyes bigger than my stomach lol. I ended up with a 2 entree item & I was craving green beans bad so picked two chicken dishes tray had that in it. Noodles were pretty good, wish it had more garlic to them though because they tend to be pretty bland but were cooked well. Sesame chicken was good maybe a lil too sweet though. Possibly the nastiest Panda Express I have ever been to. I haven't written a review in probably two years so for me to bust open Yelp and start writing this should probably tell you something. The food was horrible. Absolutely disgusting. Dry chicken, unflavored chow mein, unflavored and almost chemical tasting rice. I mean it when I say, possibly the most disgusting Panda I have ever had. The service was awful. I don't think the person taking my order said a single word to me the entire time, just stared at me with a blank face from start to finish. Even after I said thanks at the end he just put my bag in my face with a blank, emotionless stare. You know, he could be a drone for all I know. I understand you probably don't love your job guy, but I didn't make the decisions that lead you to where you are now, you did. You could at least pretend to give half a shit. Oh well though, I know I shouldn't expect much from people who reek of weed while at work. The rest of the crew looked about the same, so that probably also explains why my food was ass. Do you like Chinese food, poor customer service and crappy workers? Boy, do I have a place for you. The food is fine, when they have it. On multiple occasions they have been out of white rice. Literally the easiest thing there is to cook. And this isn't a few minutes before closing, this is at 7 PM. I've also pulled up on multiple occasions and even though they're supposed to be open for another 20 to 30 minutes, they are closed. I could close my eyes and not be able to distinguish any of them from the others. They were all sweet. Covered in sugar. All of them 1-2 out of 10. Beijing beef is supposed to be firm but tender and chewy with a spicy sauce. This was sweet, gummy, and had no spice. The honey chicken was bizarre. Most of the chicken in this store is pre-cooked and frozen, but this was like they thawed it out and did not cook it the final time nearly long enough. Again,it was gummy and just tasted like sugar. The other two were similar. Minimal flavor except for sweet. We're almost an hour away, and my better half picked up the order on the way home. Took it to the car and went to snag an egg roll and rangoon for the ride. There was ONE egg roll in the bag. One out of the 6 I paid $11 for. There were 2 rangoons. Two out of the 12 I paid $8 for. They don't even have an order for 2 rangoons. Who knows what they were thinking. They did fix it when he took it in, but with no explanation and no apology. Please do better Panda Express. Employee named Ashley claiming to be the store manager, refused to refund money for my order I kindly asked to be refunded due to unsatisfying results of food. Told me to order something else or "get out" then told me if I wanted a refund I should call corporate and have them do it that she "will not" give me one. I called corporate and they verified that she is not the store manager and should have refunded me the money. Panda Express has been a godsend. As I've always complained about how the only thing available for Drive-Thru options is burgers Chic Fil a Arby's & Dominos Pizza. Nothing against them but I like variety & options when it comes to the drive thru. So drive thru Chinese has been a very awesome option as I love the food from Generals Sao's Chicken Beijing Beef Fried Rice & Orange chicken. All hot & ready when I drive up to the window. Sometimes they get the order wrong not including a dish or the wrong food items. It has been corrected in the past though & I've been fine with it but their service could use some work. It's not bad like Mcdonalds but there's room to improve & I have faith they will improve. On their organization & timeliness. But I always suggest calling ahead with your order before going up my dad does & it has been a wonderful experience. It's already ready & all I have to do is drive thru. Get my order & be home within 15 minutes. They'll continute to get my business as long as they keep up their food quality in being piping hot & tasting great. read more

Hey now, I am very happy that they have a new crew with Miranda very enthusiastically greeting & keeping everything fresh, clean & attitudes all around really great. My lunch was very good and I am very happy that this location is very nicely improved and back on track. It's also great to get a big friendly smile from someone like Miranda who makes you feel welcomed and other managers like Alex it is indeed pleasant. I genuinely like the food and it's almost always nice and freshly prepared, hot and tasty. I know it's a chain and even for Chinese fast food good this is better than a lot of the ful bliwn Chinese restaurants on the metro area. This is now my favorite Panda Express location and trust me if you have issues because if some personel problems in the past, well it is worth taking another look. I really want to see these guys succeed and keep the choice of Chinese and not one of the dozen pizza places and burger joints. read more

I've strayed from time-to-time to beef and broccoli and other menu items, much to my disappointment, and have learned the hard way that the bread and butter of this establishment is the orange chicken. First experience with Panda Express. Clearly I did not know what to expect. I asked what came with the order of mushroom chicken and she said the bowl was one entree that could be the mushroom chicken and one side item. Or the plate was two entrees and a side item. So, I asked for the bowl option of mushroom chicken with fried rice and add an egg roll. Let's just say that if the NAME of the entree includes the word "mushroom" that I expect it to have more than one piece of a mushroom, not even a whole one, only a piece! And, my entire order came in a smaller than normal "to-go" plate. You know, the kind with one half a large section then the other half divided into two sections? Well, silly me is used to the ENTREE coming in the large section and the sides coming in the two small sections. Not so here. The fried rice side was in the large section and what they called the "entree" was in ONE of the tiny sections. And they threw the extra egg roll I ordered in the third section. The entire "entree" could have fit into one of the ketchup containers you use at a McDonald's. I am not a huge eater and by no means expect huge portions, but this was REALLY tiny portions! And don't even get me started on the soy sauce packets! I was sure to ask if there was plenty of soy sauce in my to go order. There were TWO packets. And you had to wring the packets to get that third drop out! The egg roll was actually my favorite, and clearly it was frozen and just deep fried on site. The chicken tasted ok but really only left me hungry for a fourth or *gasp* fifth fork full!! It was cheap, I'll give you that. But I would rather pay $5 more and get real food at Lee Kahn's a couple blocks away! read more

I am actually writing another review because we continue to frequent-increasingly frequent our local Panda Express. We are grateful it is there. Through the decades I have often eaten Chinese food in places I lived (New York, S.F., L.A. etc) & to me the food at Panda Express is as good as I've had in any of those other international cities--if not better. The Panda Express staff in Collierville in our experience is uniformly terrifically caring, responsive, friendly. We have taken to purchasing Panda Express Family Packs (to go). They come with 3 entrees in boxes & 2 sides in boxes as well as small packets of the sauces you desire & a couple of fortune cookies. We are not small eaters & sometimes the Family Pack may last my husband and I for 3 dinners--do the math on that.... Given the quality & taste of the food, good will of the staff, not having to cook-we think you can't beat it. Truly we are grateful that they are in Collliervile. read more

The new seared steak & shrimp is fantastic! I really hope they keep this because it's soooooo goood! The cooks are always cooking it fresh, and the manager is always smiling at the guest and it seems the to be rubbing off on the employees, I have told my fellow coworkers to give this location a try.
