we went for dinner just now. we were looking at the menu, I heard the men's toilet flush and immediately the door ripped open. no time to wash hands. the guy walks right back to the kitchen and to the meat station and asks how we are. are you serious, you NEVER had time nor did you take the time to wash your hands and ran back to touch our food? GROSS!!! we used to go there at least once a month, never again... The worst part was he presented himself as if nothing was out of the norm and none of the coworkers acted as though it was out of the norm. Customers lost from that one for sure!! read more

Visited Potbelly Sandwich shop for lunch today at 1:14 pm. I ordered the chicken salad sandwich on flat bread and chicken club sandwich. Both were well prepared and packaged. I throughly enjoyed my meal. I placed it online so my order will build up points in Perk store for free or discounted food. Sandwich was very tasty and included a lot of meat and veggies. What can I say... the pictures online, especially the ones posted by the shop/owner were definitely better than the sandwiches we got. Not much meat filling at all. I don't know how someone who doesn't get veggies would feel about the filling of these sandwiches because I counted exactly one slice of each meat on there. A single thin slice. That's crazy for the price you pay. The bread was ehh, okay, nothing to really be desired. The sub overall was very average. However being able to order it was a positive thing for me as opposed to if we had driven all the way out there. I would've left significantly disappointed about the wasted trip. Might be good if you're super local in the vicinity of the shops but if you're 10+ minutes away, I wouldn't waste my time. read more

Apparently I didn't get a picture of my sandwich. It was good! I went basic with the ham and Swiss but I swapped in cheddar for the Swiss cheese. Added hot peppers, onions, tomato, and I got a side of balsamic dressing for my sandwich. Baked Lays chips. Oh - I went with multigrain bread and the "thin cut" bread...which meant they took the regular bread and just scooped out the inside. Unexpected/odd. Whatever. One person in our group got the sandwich/salad combo. And the salad was giant! (Pictured). It was very full of the toppings. Good salad! So when we showed up, there were garbage bags right in the door. To the point that is was awkward to enter the establishment because you had to squeeze around them. Those bags (pictured) stayed there during our ordering, their preparing/making our sandwiches, and most of our eating. Bags were finally moved toward the end of our meal. Strange. Kinda icky. This store does not do a good job at all keeping the restrooms clean. There is a form on the wall for the employees to use to update the times it is supposed to be cleaned but when I went in on Thursday 5/8 it was filthy around the sink faucet and the form did not have any initials where anyone had cleaned the restrooms at all. Your restroom being dirty makes me feel your kitchen is dirty which leads me to not want to eat here anymore. Please do better Potbelly management. read more

The service was very disappointing. This potbelly has a sign on the door that says it's open until 9PM. We walked in at 7:50 and were greeted by an employee who was visibly annoyed we came in. When we attempted to order a meatball sub, she said: "Oh, I just threw all the meatballs away." As someone who has worked in the restaurant industry, I understand the desire to start closing up to leave on time once the establishment is closed. But, at the same time, your business has a time set to close and it's important to give your customers service through closing. It was awful. Nothing good came from this visit. This was our first and last visit. We ordered two salads and the lettuce was bad on both. There was no egg as the menu board stated. The meat was..IDK very very weird. The texture and smell was off putting. The taste was similar-to rubbery chicken or something that's questionable??? We had two bowls of chili. Well, hubby said he could down it. I said someone has to live to tell the story so I just looked at mine. Thanks but no thanks- I'll pass. All of my food was passed on to the trash. We had a seminare 4/16 & 4/18 for a group of 100 people. Contacted Potbelly's for our box meals. Everything was delivered fresh, hot, and with a cookie and chips in the the box. About 1/2 of our seminar had never eaten from Potbelly's but indicated that they would going forward. Shout out to Fabian and his Crew/deliver guy for making our meeting a success. Potbelly Sandwich Shop is the best national sandwich chain. Their sandwiches are excellent and consistent across all their stores. My personal favorite is the veggie melt with avocado. I also recommend the wreck and the Italian sandwiches but really any sahdwich is good. read more

Ordered and paid for two sandwiches online! Given a pickup time and went to location! Went inside and told them I was there to pickup my order! They said this young kid had it so I moved down the counter to him and gave my name! My order was less than a foot from him! He was making a sandwich and I gave him time to finish and then he starts to make another! I asked him if my order was ready and he said "yes"! I said would you hand it to me. Potbelly is my favorite go to instead of typical fast food. The choices are great and you can custom your sandwich to your dietary needs easily. As I write this Yelp says "closed in 20 minutes." Stopped here a few weeks back around 8:30 on a Saturday and was treated with irritation and indifference like we were a bother. Tonight my wife walked up at 8:35 and 3 workers (one a manager?) stared at her from behind a locked door that clearly showed a closing time of 9:00pm like she was an idiot. To be clear we like the food here, but will never be back. Jersey Mikes for example treats customers like they're the first they've had all day until closing.
