Not sure why this location has lower reviews. (Just looked thru other reviews and most bad ones were from 4+ years ago. Maybe they've changed management?) We are frequent Panda customers on all our travels and near home. Our first time at this location and it compares favorably with all others we've been to. The dishes were fresh and well prepared. If you're a newby to Pandas, you should not expect high end Chinese cuisine. It is fast food American/Chinese, but we like that they use all fresh ingredients and prepare dishes on the spot as needed. I don't normally leave reviews for fast food but after going to this Panda Express I was really impressed. It was my first time at this location and the girls serving the food and at the cash register were very friendly and polite. The girl at the cash register even came into the dining area after we paid and cleaned a table for us without us even needing to ask and apologized that it hadn't been cleaned yet. I do the mobile pick up and as someone who has worked in the food service I always try to order in advance to give plenty of time before coming. I always wait on the text telling me that it's ready, but for some reason even after going through the drive through AFTER the text I am told they are still working on it. I went to this panda an hour before close, and ordered a bowl, I ask for honey sesame chicken and chow mein. They had no honey sesame. Which is chill so I ordered orange instead. I stopped by this location today after a field trip with my high school students. Had 8 students with me. When we walked in the we were greeted with smiles from the employees. Most of the time when I walk in with students, employees will look annoyed or overwhelmed! Not here! We were waited on with kindness as we all placed our orders! And they were cranking that food out as well!! The second they ran out of rice, the lady working on the next batch was ready! Same with the different meat options! You can order a bowl with rice and one meat. A plate with a rice and 2 meats. Or a big plate that comes with 3 meats! I ordered a plate. I chose fried rice, chicken and mushrooms, and Kung pao chicken. It was delivered hot and fast! It's soooo much food!! Next time I will just get a bowl! First of all, they closed the dining area so we could not go in to order. That made ordering for five people at the drive-thru a communication nightmare. Then we were told they didn't have white rice. (OK.....What Chinese place runs out of WHITE RICE?) The girl at the drive-thru window did not have the one drink we asked for on the order, and was very impatient when I told her that we'd ordered it. We stopped in for lunch today and was very disappointed in the food and the customer service. I ordered the two entree plate with fried rice, honey walnut shrimp and grilled teriyaki chicken. The rice and shrimp were a little more than warm and the chicken was not even room temperature. When i took the plate to the register to let them know and ask for it to be heated, I was told that it had just come out and should be warm. The cashier then went and got two thermometers to check the temp of the chicken on the line. She again told that it has just come out and was the right temp. She offered to replace the chicken. I declined and asked her to replace the chicken with shrimp. She said she couldn't because the shrimp cost $1.25 more! She then began telling me the chicken was the correct temp so i tried to hand her a piece of the cold chicken but she didn't take it. She said that she was offering to give me the chicken that had just come out. At this point, I told her okay but i wanted a whole new plate since now everything was cold after talking to her for five minutes. She did not want to do that so I asked for a refund! This restaurant has the worst service that I have experienced of any panda express restaurants. The food is pre-cooked so you would think dishing it out to plates would be fast. Not here. The slowest staff ever. I think the staff is taking naps between dishes. No manager in sight and when you call about issues the lady answering hangs up on you...twice. I've visited this location multiple times since opening, often times picking up lunch for the whole office. I've had nothing but fast friendly service with orders completed as requested. I've also used Panda to cater an event and walked away very impressed as well. It's very easy to order it all online and just show up at the time you've selected for pick up. Only leaving one star cause I have to choose a star option to review. I would give this place 0 stars. I have given this location multiple opportunities to get it right. I only went today because the other Chinese food place in town was closed for renovations. I ordered the bigger plate with white rice and an egg role. Broccoli beef was only broccoli, they were out of teriyaki chicken at 11:45 , so I subbed kung pao chicken but was way too spicy for me, chicken and mushrooms was good though. I asked for soy sauce and hot mustard at the window. They gave me soy, chili and sweet and sour sauce. No hot mustard. This place is way too pricey for this kind of food and service. I absolutely love the Sweetfire Chicken. BUT every time I go to this Panda, I have a problem with the employees. Not even employees, just one and she's a manager. I didn't get her name but she always gives me attitude and eye rolls. This time in particular I wanted a bowl but on a plate so just one entree on a plate. She looked at me like I was stupid and rolled her eyes, dumped the rice she put in the bowl back in the pot and handed another employee my plate because she couldn't deal with me anymore obviously. Yelp seriously needs to have a no star option!!! This Panda is by far the worst location EVER!! First, a couple of weeks ago we got metal peices in our food. This is my first time ever going to a Panda Express and I will not be going back. The people working there were really nice and the service was fast. My food on the other hand was the complete opposite. I couldn't even finish it. The spring rolls tasted like mushy cabbage in a plastic shell. The fried rice was hard, lumpy and bland. The two "special" entrees we got were the Angus and the Walnut shrimp. The meat in the Angus was tough and bland. The walnut shrimp was good but I still wouldn't get it again. Sunday at 4:00. I pull in and order the food and asked for ice tea. They said they no longer serve ice tea. I ask if I can get bottled water nope they're out of stock with bottled water. He came back and said nope we don't have any vitamin water, we only have sparkling water and that's it. And I was asked to go around the corner to wait for my food and that's where I am right now still waiting after 22 minutes. I had visited the Panda Express drive through over the weekend weekend. However once I got home with my food we found that all of our "fried" rice was not actually fried or even cooked for that matter. We then proceeded to call the restaurant where we spoke to a manager who told us she would replace our meals. So fast forward to where we go back to receive these meals. We handed the manager our receipt who then assigned someone to get us our meals. However in the mean time we were forgotten about for 20 minutes and all of the food that we were suppose to be receiving had been given away to other customers and on top of that they had lost our receipt. So we sat down for another 10 minutes while the employees recooked and remade our meals since there was no food left. read more

There should be a no-stars option. I was there on Friday February 21st close to 8pm. My mom ordered orange chicken, fried rice. I got beef broccoli with brown rice. Our food was cold. I politely mentioned it was cold. Can you warm it for us, please? The worker walked off and got someone else. They all were yelling across the line she says her food is cold. Finally a girl(no nametag) would give no name said "You say your food is cold, what part?" I replied, all of it, both entrees. She continued,used with her rudeness, saying what do you want, I said I'm not trying to be rude I just want hot food, this is cold. She walked off, and put a thermometer in the beef broccoli they were using to serve, came back, told me I don't know what to tell you it is 140 degrees, so it isn't cold. By then I was super offended. I said can I please get a refund, I don't want cold food. She left, brought then brought me back a piece of broccoli on a toothpick. I repeated my self, she then said look our food is not hot. I asked again for a refund, she got visibly, and verbally mad, and said.."I guess, but you can't get a refund for your drink". I said thank you, She got the money out, so I placed my hand out. She dropped all the change on the counter away fro my hand. Said nothing else. I usually like the locations in Austin, where I live. Nice, food is hot, workers nice. This was the worst. If this is Panda Express' idea of any kind of quality, and customer service...please shut down, close your doors. It was the worst. I'd give zero stars if I could. It's 10 on a Saturday. They close at 10:30. Staying at a nearby hotel and have been on the road for hours. Go through the drive through for a bowl with orange chicken. Can't do orange chicken, they're out. Ok... mushroom chicken then, please. Can't, out. Ok... what do you have? Wok fire shrimp, but it's $1.25 more. Ok, I'll get that then. Can I get a side of veggie spring rolls with sweet and sour? Sure. Ok. Drive off and realize I should check my bag bc it would suck if I got back to my room without sauce or something. Good thing I did... they didn't give me a fork, soy, fortune cookie, or sweet and sour. I turn around and try to go inside to ask for at least a sweet and sour and fork. All doors are locked. Ok. All of this to find out they're out of sweet and sour. 20 minutes till closing, yet out of literally out of like, 90% of my order choices. Cool. Get back to my hotel room and egg rolls are soggy. Waste of money. Why be open if you're out of food/if the food you're serving isn't fresh?
