Get the orders correct improve their food quality and stop charging more for less food.

Man I used to think that going thru the drive-through you would get less food because the people serving up the food didn't have to look you in the eyes . they could skimp on the amount of food that would give you.. And you know what? I was right ! Before covid I would always do walk in, even if I was taking it home . now due to covid, I must do the drive-thru . And let me tell you... NEVER AGAIN!! I guess I'm not going to get to eat any Chinese food until this pandemic is over. I got maybe two-thirds of the food that I would usually get. And that's being generous in my estimation. I mean you can even see the divider portion of the to-go box!!! it is a lot less then they give you when you go into the restaurant and watch them dish it up. I would not have paid as much as I paid for a food portion this small!! I mean noodles are cheap you guys. you could at least pile on the noodles, so people could get full for $12. The only reason they're getting more than one star is because the service was a rather rapid. But then again I guess it doesn't take much time to dish out such a little bit of food. read more

OMGoodness. Not only was my dinner put in the bag right side up. All of the juices was EVERYWHERE in the bag. Absolutely NO respect at all for someone dinner and my car has juice all over my seat!!! Also when someone orders BEEF and broccoli. I expect to get BEEF and broccoli NOT!! BROCCOLI and beef!! Do better people I have to say. I'm impressed with Panda Cooperate office in responding to my complaint. I truly did not file this complaint with the hopes of receiving anything in return. But I'm glad they want to make it right. The lady taking orders in the drive thru (Selina) was super rude. We went through at lunch time and ordered 6 bowls and a plate. As I was telling her my order, she seemed to get annoyed and kept asking "is that all?" Wow! If I wanted to order 50 bowls, I could. You are there working, be nice! If you don't like your job, find a new one. Then they couldn't even get our order right. Never wasting our money here again. read more

Did not have a great experience here at Panda Express, The girl serving said they were out of Beijing beef then moments later said there was some after all but without sauce, After they made fun of it for not coming out right I told them I didn't want it anymore which they proceeded to start talking about me! In front of me! Saying how they talked me out of it. Cashier checking us out didn't say anything to us! Basically had to control the whole interaction and ask for certain things. No ice in the machine, asked if they can give us ice the cashier said we don't have any, and then moments later another worker tells another customer they can give them ice from the back!! It was just a bummer experience and vibe from this place, it was dirty seems like management gave up. Got some free coupons from the cool manager guy to try this place out again. Went during black Friday shopping time. Drive thru was fast, employees were super friendly an my order was made fresh an hot. My veggies were right out point! Never had a problem in Austin. I placed an online order to save time. I got there and the doors were all locked. I tried calling three times and they don't answer the phone. I complained when I got to the window. How am I supposed to get my online order? Yet once i got in the drive thru line I saw them unlocking the door for other people. This was a few weeks ago and hopefully this has changed now as I love Panda. One more bad experience though and I'll just go elsewhere. read more

I love this place and planned on it for dinner. I called multiple times before 9:30pm without an answer. Online as well as the hours on their door list that they close at 10:30pm. I arrived at 10:05pm and found that they were closed. When I pulled up to the drive through window they avoided me forever and then looked at the window with a thumbs down and no explanation. Absolutely disgusting. The food was cold and overcooked. The server did not tell me that they were preparing egg rolls until after I had paid for the order and to pull ahead. I waited for 11 minutes and never did receive the egg roll. There was no fork, napkin, or egg roll included in the order. I could not eat the meal, a total waste of money. read more

In my opinion, this restaurant suffers from poor management. Car orders seem to take precedence over dinners. They constantly run out of main menu items, like Kung Pow Chicken... Always seem to have a good selection of entree options unlike some other Panda Express restaurants around Austin that frequently run out of things. I feel like this place doesn't get a lot of love, but it has never disappointed me. It's an Asian fast-food joint. There's not a lot to get wrong. I've been here a few times and each time the staff was attentive and the food was exactly what I expected. I had initially avoided this location when we moved to Kyle because I kept hearing negative word of mouth. On a craving for quick Asian food I swung by the drive thru and had quick service and was on my way. The last few times have all been walk in orders and I still got the same amount of courtesy and swiftness. Bottom-line, if you're on the fence about this place, just go, form your own opinion and remember that it's fast food, just like the other businesses it shares the strip with. read more

My family eats here all the time (bi-weekly or more) and are never disappointed with the food or service. Always consistent and courteous. I mistakenly placed my order online at another location and arrived in Kyle to pick it up. The manager on duty called the other location and had them transfer the order over. No issues or attitude. Thank GOD! Finally a place in Kyle that is not a Mexican food restaurant, Pizza or Chicken place. They were a little busy for lunch. I got to the counter and asked for fried rice. I picked my entrees. I wanted a 3rd but the lady quickly whisked my tray down the line. Manuel R who was at the register is as personable as a stick rings me up. "Hey, can I get a drink too?" He nods and never says a word. Almost $10 for some fast food chinese is a bit much but still better than the choices we have in Kyle. The lady serving the rice tells the cook in Spanish that she needs more of something. I have to laugh. This is a Chinese place and you are speaking Spanish? Thats hilarious. The manager is in a white shirt and standing over the workers like a prison guard. He never mutters a word. I get my drink and head to my table. The Mongolian beef is dry and over cooked. It is almost like beef jerky. The orange chicken is not bad but also tastes like its been sitting too long. The rice was dry and bland. If I wanted good Chinese, I would have headed over to Koy. The developer that build that whole shopping center needs to get a serious clue. There is no access road access to this place. You have to go by McDonalds to get in. McDonalds has their entrance blocked of so you can not get out. How about an extra exit so I do not have to drive around like a clueless fool? This place is open late which is not bad. I hope this place gets better. I am sure it is growing pains from being a brand new restaurant. Will I be back? Sure. I would hope they would not be so skimpy on their serving sizes. Well, I agree that the food seemed a bit dry, but overall its cheap and fast so I give what I got three stars. I had beef and broccoli, bok choy, egg roll, and crab puffs. Puffs were a bit overdone. Friendly and sweet people. I chuckled when I heard "mas beef y broccoli por favor" lol. read more

Food here seems to turn over pretty quickly, and we have noticed they are constantly making fresh batches. We have always gone inside, because we want to look/see/smell and sometimes taste before making up our minds. One thing we always seem to get is the honey walnut shrimp. Wish they'd put more walnuts in, but it is still one of our favorites. Noodles and rice can both be dry sometimes. Teriyaki chicken is always tender, but I do miss their Mandarin chicken. Speaking of missing - where's the PORK?? I can't believe Panda Express stopped serving pork a few years ago. What's with a Chinese food place not serving pork? The restaurant always pretty busy no matter what time of day. The staff is always pretty friendly and greets customers almost immediately as they walk in the door. My one real complaint is the dining room seems to be overlooked more often than not. As for the food, the honey walnut shrimp is my favorite and I get it with half and half chow mein/fried rice. I was treated rudely by the check out girl and when I brought the issue to the manager...she really didnt sympathize with my complaint.
