The employees are wonderful, the food mediocre. Waited for food to be ready so I was expecting fresh food. The noodles were undercooked and the sides were tali small. Ordered pang chicken it was tough and hard to chew, honey ginger chicken "claims to be breast" very small amount and the pieces were small like the diameter of my pinky looked like they used the trimming off the chicken. Saw customers eating there just yesterday and thought we would have some Panda Express today, but the signs are down and curtain walls covering the area today. 5/9/2023. Soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo sloooooooooooooow. Dude have a sense of urgency.....especially when you have 20 people in line. So we spent the day at the river and were too tired to leave our hotel room, so we decided on Panda. We stood in line for over an hour. I have eaten here at least 3 times. Why, you ask? Well, my job takes me to this place located inside the Aquarius Casino every so often so when lunch time comes around, my choices are either McDonalds, Subway, Duets (a coffee/café joint), Café Aquarius (a sit down restaurant), and Windows (your standard casino buffet). Now Café Aquarius and Windows Buffet you are guaranteed to spend more than 10 bucks plus tip so you can remove those from my choices. Of course I have eaten in both venues and trust me, I wasn't too impressed. As for the Duets Coffee/Café shop, everything in there is marked up. So basically, its Subway, McDonald's or Panda. This Panda, the food is actually decent. It's the service that blows chunks. From my last couple of visits, the common theme was the same. Whenever lunch time came around like 11 am - 12 pm, it seemed like the employees were still trying to get all the entrees ready and of course the ones I wanted were either being cooked or were next to be cooked. Come on man! All the other Pandas I have ever been to had everything ready to go as soon as they opened. Memo to the Panda higher ups management, y'all need to work on the opening procedures here. This last time I went, as usual the food wasn't ready yet and it was about 11:45 am already. I asked the cashier when it was gonna be ready. She gave me a smartass comment about if I didn't want to wait, there was a McDonalds and a Subway across the casino. Not only do you have to deal with the bad service, you also gotta deal with the secondhand smoke coming from the casino, especially if there are a bunch of smokers sitting at any one of the many slot machines lined up next to the tables you sit at. Came to eat here on night, since this is inside the Aquarius Casino. Should of opted for the buffet. The food looked like it had been sitting there for a while, and sad to say most of our party, did get sick. They do offer, fresh items, which you pick, and they will wok for you. You do share the eating area next to slot machines, but there is a waist high partition. I agree with several previous reviews that most of the food looked old. I decided to take the plunge anyway and tried the new wok-fired shrimp (which tasted fine and looked fairly fresh) and the teriyaki chicken (looked old and dry). My taste buds were somewhat masked by the beverages I had been taking part in that night, so nothing tasted particularly funky. All was well and good until about 3.5 hours later, when I got intense chills while gambling and had to go up to my room. Turns out I got food poisoning! I had to spend the rest of my trip within 10 feet of a toilet and was stuck forking over money for an extra night stay since I was in no condition to drive home. Easy to order and service given with a smile. We changed our mind from dine in to take out and this was absolutely no problem and given a bag and lids. Ordered veggie spring rolls to go and these were still nice and crunchy warm when we opened the bag. The sweet tangy orange sauce is thick and drizzly with a nice touch of gooieness that sticks to the veggie rolls and made the combination great. The black pepper chicken over the fried chow mein noodles satiated my hunger and the mushroom chicken over plain steamed white rice was a good choice. Panda is panda decent Chinese food any one you go to.... But this was the only place open late night they had a huge line that wrapped around the small store. Everyone else in the casino was closed. However they moved pretty quick and the staff was not rude considering how busy they were! The coke was out and the staff changed it without hesitation and apologized. This is a small Chinese restaurant with a wild personality. Cooking gets pretty intense in the kitchen and I'm given these hot plates of food at a reasonable price for the unique, comfortable establishment. Significant dishes are made ahead of time so customers can get their fill at a brisk pace in line next to the corner towards Subway and McDonald's and there's even a gift shop around there with giant poker cards and Laughlin memorabilia. Panda Express, as the name suggests, is an influence for pandas and their Chinese-style cooking rings in with an American tone for the wider, larger audience through sweetness and spice to foods until most of any bitter taste there'd be with some items is almost negligible. Of course different varieties of vegetables and sauces do suggest a modest tone made by the kitchen for enhancing those little qualities of preparation expected from a practical, rushed vibe. When I come here there's often a challenge on the eating part since combinations of food can greaten or lessen particulars under the hotel's roof where casino machines add a touch of familiarity for Las Vegas-goers. Orange chicken is great on its own and adds flare to any side. Many dishes will cost a dining patron some extra money due to their earned status from Panda Express' professional work. Cashiers are nice to me here; in fact, they may leave me another fortune cookie for a meal if I request more chili sauce and packets of soy sauce. Odd vibes are expressed around the kitchen between the workers and customers because we just generally love the look and feel of great dining in Chinese fare. Panda Express definitely gets my award for "really big soda". That's fine, because I'll need a good amount of replenishment for digging into pepper chicken with those added little dollops of chili sauce. Great selections mean better food and this Chinese kitchen packs in a lot of flavor into their choice food items like the different beefs and the different chickens. Vegetables on their own normally don't pack in much of a punch; so, Panda Express adds sauces and spices to them to make good food plentiful on fun and good times, especially as it all smacks my tongue while leaving a happy smile under my brow. I haven't yet had a visit where the dining lobby was dirty; then again, it's important to give the workers enough space and opportunity for managing a wild business fare as casino machines roll, customers line up, and willing patrons know the meaning of things. read more

This Panda is horrible even by Panda Express standards. The rice was old, hard and completely inedible. The orange chicken was also old and hard. Surprisingly the Beijing Beef, which I only ordered because they were out of everything else, was quite good. The service was bad, and the paper plate my food was served on what ripped. And they didn't even put the plate on a tray. Very weird. I will never eat at this Panda again. read more

Ate here twice while staying at The Aquarius Casino. Good food, hot, lots of selections, and a great deal compared to the prices in the other restaurants.
