Panda express one of my favorite asian restaurants with many different locations, they have many varieties of items in the menu, I ordered a bigger plate as usual, my favorite is orange chiken with rice and vegetables, this time i feel sad because the pricing have been increased and the size of the food have been reduced including the extra sides that have an extra charge, probably i will replace this store. We know the food is good and the restaurant is clean. The problem is that it is too small. We arrived around 430pm-ish on a Saturday night hoping to beat the crowds. There were at least 10 cars in the drive thru. We went inside and it was backed up halfway into the dining room. It was so uncomfortable because we were inches from people eating. We were blocking when the diners needed to get up or to get a drink... After 10 minutes, we moved up once! Several more people had come in and it was backed up to the restroom almost. So I was wondering why there are so many negative reviews, and then realized that they're over a year old. So I'll update it! This place is amazing. Good food, as always. But the main thing people were saying is the service. The people are so nice! When my mom and I walked in, they greeted us and were very patient and kind while we ordered. When they didn't have the apple pie rolls and the veggie spring roll, we still ordered it and they brought it out to us!! We didn't have to wait next to the counter, like I usually had to do at other locations. The music is the perfect volume. Not too loud, just perfect. Kind of like Starbucks ambience. While sitting and eating our food, I'm pretty sure it was the manager, who came around to check on everyone and make sure they were doing all good. Loved the service, food, all of it!! Don't bother going when they first open. Food tastes like it was old from overnight/cold ,drive-through lady (receipt says Sylvia b) barely fills my kids portions and is always super unfriendly. Let's start with the manager! Today July 29, 2023, whoever the manager was, that man was giving customers and employees bad attitude. This guy needs to get fired quick! Good portions were so cutback, it was ridiculous. No lids by the drink machine so my wife asked for a lid and the manager already had the attitude. This location is constantly rude, running out of food, and more than 45 minutes late to have food ready for a pickup order. We love Panda Express and have kept going back trying to be patient and understanding thinking maybe things will get better, especially with Covid, but this restaurant location continues to be a disappointment. Staff does not communicate with customers or each other. They were trying to work hard but no one was communicating. We ordered online for pickup and waited for more than 45 minutes while they continued to serve drive thru and grubhub orders but ignored the line of people inside the store that now wrapped around the outside. They ran out of multiple types of food. Did not offer any sort of discount or refund for the order after almost an hour. They weren't understaffed at all, there was 8 people working, just completely under trained. Disappointed. Will not be spending money Update: got home (we live only 5 minutes away) the food is stale and cold. The portions are very lacking, and they messed up on the order. Had a very Bad experience today at the restaurant. A worker named Karen. Was very rude to me and my daughter. We were simply trying to order food and she made it seem like we were wasting her time while making exhausted faces when my daughter was trying to pick something out. The food is good and all but I got orange chicken and chow mein and when I got the bowl it wasn't orange chicken or chow mein just broccoli and rice with barely any beef so I asked them about it and they said that they can't take back the food so he gave us the chow mein and orange chicken in separate boxes and when I opened the chow mein it was good and filled to the top but then I opened the orange chicken and it was still beef but only like 4 pieces. read more

Despite the poor reviews, we tried it anyway. Food was wonderful and one of the more flavorful Panda Express we have ate at. Service was good. Went to order my food was told they were out of one of my entrees and then it would be another 15-20 minutes for the other. This last visit however was quite unsatisfactory, the lady at the window seemed very annoyed to take our order, when our food was brought to us they seemed like they didn't want to bring it. This was after we waited over 15 minutes for food. I understand having to prepare food especially when your out of the specific food type. We were informed that it would take a bit and we agreed to wait. The food it's self is usually very good and is packed full, this time there was around 4-5 pieces of meat and the rest was nothing but the rice. Her name is Sylvia and if she gets a job working with customers maybe she should work on her social skills and be polite, if you don't like your job quit. Panda Express is normally really good. This location is very hit or miss. Almost NEVER have any ice in the dining area for drinks. Second, the vegetables are often undercooked. Walked into the dining room to order once at 5 minutes after they were supposed to close it. Was told to leave and go through the drive through. We did, and as we sat in the parking lot eating, we watched some people walk in the front door, order food, and sit down to eat. If I could give this store manager negative stars for BAD ATTITUDE I would. Short manager lady literally rolled her eyes after I asked fir a basic condiment for my chicken. Where do I start... When this place first opened, they were on it. But, I wanted to wait at least a few weeks before writing my review. I've been to Panda Express four times since its opening. And the service has gotten worse each and every time. Even when it's not busy, it seems they're always running out of one dish and you end up waiting for something to get cooked. The workers behind the counter have a hard time hearing your orders. I have to attribute that to the loudness of all the tvs in the restaurant. The food is the saving grace. It's good, not the greatest, but good. However, I will be returning to my local favorites that I've been neglecting since its opening. I'll hit up the Panda if the other places are closed. read more

Usually good, but bad tonite. When we brought the food home, we discovered that my BF had shrimp, instead of the chicken he ordered. My Wok-Fried Shrimp had no pea pods. And my Chinese veggies were a big pile of undercooked broccoli with a bunch of parsley. Parsley?? When I attempted to contact a mgr. I was told all mgrs. were at lunch. When I asked when they would return, I was told, 'Oh, an hour. Hour-and-a-half'. Really, any employee, esp. a mgr., can take that long a lunch? And the place closes in 2 hours! I will keep trying to talk to a mgr. Thinking it's a franchise. The Panda in Rio Rancho is horrible. Someone commented that this PE is hit-or-miss. I've found that to be true of most restaurants in Roswell. At least as compared to the same restaurants in other cities. read more

I am not impressed by this restruant. I have eaten at far better Panda Expresses. Food is never warm. Very disappointing. They are always low on napkins or out of them, or low on tea. If you let them know they are out of something they say they will take care of, but they never do. Tables are dirty. Unfriendly servers. Bad service. Music is too loud and you have to talk over it.
