    empty rangoon

All of my rangoons were either empty or barley filled at all. :( rest of food was good

Ordered via Uber Eats and honestly not complaining. You get what you pay for and what's expected from a Panda Express. From my experiences in San Angelo so far it looks like this is as good as it's going to get. Plus, they weren't skimpy on serving size.

Food area a left dirty because no one took the trash out

This place is so understaffed... They can't even tend to guests inside. They can't even clean the floor were people eat and take out the trash. Dear owner how about you hire more people to make this place run properly

7/18 update: went back today... food for 3 adults and one child was $42. Ordered 3 orders of spring rolls... only got 2 but was charged for 3. My meal included broccoli and it was bitter. Ordered Rangoons...a few did not have cream cheese (see pic) also, they didn't give me any of the sweet sauce to dip. It's the equivalent of going to McDonald's, ordering chicken nuggets and not getting dipping sauce. Officially the worst Panda Express ever.

"DRAGON FOR DINNER?" -…read more My Lovely Wife and I enjoy Chinese Food and usually have it at home prepared by her. But she likes to go out to eat more than cook at home, so I searched for a really good Chinese Restaurant in the area. Found one with great reviews called "DragonLicious" and it's not to far up Sherwood. Because of their name, it makes me wonder if they serve Dragon. I have had lots of different things I ate in my life but I never have had Dragon. If they do, I bet it taste like Chicken - we shall see. When it was dinner time we left for DragonLicious. It's a type of Restaurant where you order at the counter and they bring the food out to your table - and there are lots of tables to choose - the place is pretty busy. After we decided what we wanted, Jonathan took our order. And I didn't see any Dragon on the Menu. My Wife is going with their "General Tso's Chicken Bowl"; Breaded Deep Fried Chicken Leg Meat, stirred in a Spicy Special General Tso Sauce with Broccoli over Fried Rice. I am having the "Almond Chicken Entree"; Chicken Breast Meat with Mushrooms, Celery, Baby Corn and diced Zucchini & Carrots with Water Chestnuts in a White Sauce & Almonds. Served with Fried Rice & an Egg Roll. We grabbed our drinks, Soy & Orange sauce packets and chose a table. Soon they delivered our food to us and my Wife's Bowl is a good size filled above the top. My Almond Chicken is served in a To-Go container that is stuffed full of steaming food. They also have Fortune Cookies at the counter for you to grab. She LoVed her General Tso. It was very flavorful and tasty and more than enough for her, she took the rest home. I had a bite and it was really good. My Almond Chicken is enough for two people with leftovers - and it was served VeRy HoT and StEaMy. It stayed hot the entire time and I even took some home, and it was still warm when we arrived back at the house. They really know how to keep the food HoT. Lots of Chicken in there that was Very Tastylicious and all the other ingredients were as good. The Orange Sauce went very will with the Fried Rice and the Egg Roll was pretty good stuff, especially with that Red Sauce they have. Both of our orders had Good Size Chunks of Chicken. We cracked open our Fortune Cookies, and they were tasty. My Wife's fortune reads; "Life is an adventure filled with surprises" - and they are correct. Mine read; "Time heals most things. Give them time" - and they are also correct. Now we feel much better. At DragonLicious you not only get Great Tasting Food, but some Honest Advice. Thank You DragonLicious. Jonathan earned the "Dollar-Bow-Tie" Award and placed it in the Tip Jar on the counter. I don't think it's going to stay there. We have now found our Go-To place for Chinese Food - and not to far from the house. They are not a chain and this is the only location in San Angelo, so, check out a local Chinese place near you and I'm sure you will enjoy the experience. And if they have the name 'Dragon' in it, check to see if they serve 'Dragon' and let me know if it taste like Chicken. For Lunch today I had a little of both orders and it all was as good as it was last night. I added some Orange & Red Sauces to the Fried Rice and Chicken and it was not only a Colorful Lunch but a Very Tastylicious Lunch as well. Everything was the Best. My Baby is Happy and that makes me Happy. Love You Bunches & DragonMunches.

But on their first impressions? Not good. They looked like a "take-order place", a "take-out" venue. I'll try them sometime on my own and write another review ... one that covers the food.

So I came here for some ramen....tonkatsu ramen in particular…read more The server is friendly and I got to witness the chef hand pulling the noodles. So I order my tonkatsu ramen. I got my bowl and the broth looked a little bit like it was weak and not concentrated enough...I figured maybe it's a little bit weaker flavor. I dip my little ladle spoon and take a sip....that looked like weak tonkatsu, but the flavor was something other than tonkatsu. I don't know what it was. The noodles were cooked appropriately, but the ajitama was not seasoned and it was not soft boiled, it was hard boiled. Okay, try out the meat. The meat was a little bit on the tough side and it did not have the flavor of chashu pork. I have had tonkatsu ramen at many different places through California. Even Missouri has a stellar tonkatsu ramen shop. Unfortunately this place does not leave me satisfied. I am afraid I can not give it a 3 star rating due to the fact that tonkatsu is unrecognizable as tonkatsu in relation to flavor. Was the flavor good? Not really. My recommendation would be to remove tonkatsu as an option on the menu altogether because although it looks like tonkatsu, it does not have anything in it that tastes like a tonkatsu ramen. The 2 stars is for decent noodles and I didn't get sick off the food.

We were greeted and seated within a minute of walking in at 5pm. I'm not that familiar with this type of dining so I'm not knocking the restaurant for me not liking my dinner, it's just not my thing I guess. I'm giving 4 stars because they did not have Thai Iced Tea on hand for this evenings dinner guest, apparently the lady who makes it wasn't in today. My opinion, a Thai restaurant not having Thai Iced Tea is like a Mexican restaurant not having margaritas, a bit disappointing. We were the first dinner guest in the restaurant and our dinners were a bit of a wait (longer than usual) from order to service and that was ok as it gave us time to visit. Our drinks and appetizers were served fairly quick. Our waitress was very friendly and tried to help me decide on dinner by explaining a few options. The place was clean and inviting with ample seating and filled up quickly within the hour. I'm only picturing my dinner and I can't remember what it was. It had a strong after taste so I tried each individual piece to pinpoint what had that flavor. One of our friends said perhaps it's lemon grass but whatever it was caused me not to finish my dinner.

We have enjoyed dining at the Mathis Field Cafe for several years now and have enjoyed each and…read moreevery dish we have tried. The Egg Rolls are excellent, (I prefer to eat these with 'sticks, they keep the sauce off your fingers.) the selections numerous and the portion sizes are more than plenty to split and save for later if you like, and you can always request a half-order if you're not that hungry. Just don't expect koi in fancy fountains, jade green walls, and waitresses in black silk dresses -- the focus here is great, inexpensive food served up in plentiful portions that will leave you feeling wonderfully and pleasantly overfed. However, if you are into aviation, don't be surprised at what you might see parked outside the windows, I've seen just about everything from a Pitts to a Galaxy, an F-117, F-14,15,16, P-51s, T-38s, Tweets, Warthogs, Herky Birds, and Drones. I have read where other guests were expecting the dishes to be fast-food style Americanized Asian food, and were disappointed by the casual home-style Asian comfort food they received. The secret here, and I suspect the reason why so many people fly in for lunch and dinner, has to do with how accommodating the staff is, and how well they take care of their patrons. Iff you are friendly and courteous, and let them know about any special dietary restrictions, tastes or preferences when you order, they've always been taken care of. Always, if you need your dish served over a specific style of rice, or if you want extra peanuts in your Kung Bao Chicken, instead of occasionally on the side (because of potential peanut allergies), or if you really do like munching those red chili peppers and want your dish Szechuan Spicy Hot -- tell your waitress how you want your favorite dish prepared! And, about the generous portions of sauce, clear/white or sweet/hot brown reduction, slowly stir in your choice of rice, (I prefer the white rice for this, especially if it's sticky rice.) problem solved! Remember, "You Have not, because you Ask not." Unless of course, you're eating prepackaged and franchised fast-food, in that case you are on your own. Happy Dining!
