Once again I am very disappointed in the service. My mom went and got 6 plates which is pretty expensive. They forgot to add the second entree on 4/6 plates. Went Sunday two people ahead of me two people waiting everyone outside Covid ordering process. Seven people working two eating inside on break possibly. It took 30 minutes to get our food. The issue wasn't that the food wasn't ready it was the lack of training how to efficiently get food in the bag and out to customers. One Supervisor or Manager is chit chatting while food sat on counter to be bagged. We enjoy some of the dishes at PE however the experience to enjoy your food gets decreased waiting for so long just because they can . It seems less customers longer waits. The only reason to go here is to get some cheap fast food ... emphasis on fast because no one goes here for the quality. And if you can't even be efficient enough to deliver pre made and stored food on time and keep a queue moving you should really just shut shop, question your choices and prepare a resume. I ordered a 2item entree and a bowl, I noticed the portions were quite small when filling the entree but what took the cake was when employee was serving bowl another employee came up not sure what her title was but spoke in their language to him and he took food out ! Came in for lunch today & they were out of veggies (hence 4 stars instead of 5) however i ordered the rice & noodles instead, and as my 2 side orders i got the honey walnut shrimp & chicken. As a special request i asked my food server if she could please make sure to include the honey walnuts to my shrimp. She went Above & Beyond and went to a bin by the chefs cooking station & added a hefty scoop of the honey walnuts to my food! OMG it was a Total Game changer for Me! I ate My Entire Plate of Food it was So Delish!! Thanks to whoever you are since i couldnt see ur face w the mask but you Def made my Lunch The Best Ever Panda i have ate thus far! They are trying so hard to keep with with these difficult clients! There is signage for social distance- no one follows the guidelines. I feel crowded by people and their attitudes. Staff is working hard to manage the flow by having separate areas for pick up vs in house orders. The biggest problem is the people who come here... they are not in a COVID mindset at all. People have their kids running around.. unsupervised... people are mad they can't get samples... and they are storming in despite the signs. They are demanding more food from staff and and refusing to pay for extra... it was ridiculous how people were acting here. Can someone find out what is happening with the HVAC? The entrance doors are extremely hard to open as if there is a vacuum being pulled inside. It really struck me last night as I was talking with an elderly gentleman who was in his 80s and was getting around with the use of a cane. Next to Burger King on the Capitol side of the street across from the Target plaza. NEW interior more modern than the other Panda's. They asked if I wanted to sample anything. Their honeysuckle chicken is back for a limited time, but I still like the orange chicken better. To Go containers are the cardboard type with the clear plastic tops. They seem smaller than the Styrofoam containers. They let me use the survey code for a free entrée with no problem. The cashier didn't even look at the code so I don't even think they need to type it in to redeem it. All trays were pretty full so that was a plus. Some locations trays will be nearly empty. Teriyaki chicken was already cut inside the tray, which I liked so I didn't have to stand there waiting and watching as they cut it. I took a star off for the containers, even though they might be more environmental, but I know people won't like the smaller portions. Kind of a sketch part of Capitol because it gets close to McKee, but it's not their fault. I'm sure people are happy to have this new Panda Express location in their neighborhood. read more

First Review! This Panda Express just opened today (Dec 20, 2013).It's your typical Panda Express, just newer. The interior design looks a bit nicer than the older ones. My favorite of all the Panda Express in the area. Sure you won't get the same portions every time. Sure you feel they can add more rice or chow mein to your selection. It's fast food served buffet style by a server. You will get acceptable portions and may have leftovers. The customer service was nice and every visit is a fun one because of the choices they have, recently they have brought back the golden sesame chicken breast which is a great combo with honey walnut shrimp and chow mein. I don't know whether you can really "Yelp" a fast food spot but this one in particular is a nice location with nice employees. This place is always busy but the food is good (as far as Chinese fast food goes). We live near by and would order Panda once a week for our family dinner. Lately, since the quarantine, their portions have been way less than before, to the point where I feel I'm being ripped off.
