Nice that they have a drive thru even though I prefer to walk inside. Very modern with high ceilings, very welcoming. I really like Gresham but I think this location may be even better. Greeted right away and not rushed, even asked me if I wanted a cup for water. The food was very fresh, rice was perfect. We, family of 6 ordered and seated ourselves at the table. 9:34 they called us up, said our food is ready but we can't eat inside because they closed at 9:30! I feel like the Panda Express chain is stuck in decades past: no vegetarian entrees, styrofoam takeout containers, etc. I swung through this drive through on my way back to Portland from Sandy. It's a huge building, easy to get to off US-26, medium sized parking lot. Staff seems to be friendly and quick, if a little stressed. The bowl I got had ~7 pieces of the honey walnut shrimp, which is a bummer cause they charge extra for the shrimp. Though I asked for fried rice, it was a layer of rice on top of chow mein. Guess they were out of rice and didn't tell me? The bowl is plastic and potentially reusable. I also got a two-entree plate. It had slightly more generous portions of entrees. But it was a styrofoam container. The food is tasty in a cheap, mass-produced way. But with a bill coming out to around $20, it doesn't quite feel like a fast food deal. There's a lot of better quality stuff I could get for that amount. read more

By far the worst Panda Express I have ever been to. It has been my experience that if you order anything other than their top 5 items then you will be waiting for them to make it. Unfortunately, my wife likes the food and the next closest Panda Express is quite far away, so I have had to make the trip here 2 or 3 times a month. Every single time I have gone here, I have had to wait for food. They say it will be ready in 7 minutes but it is more like 20. I thought I had a plan figured out to order ahead and have it ready at noon, but you guessed it... my food wasn't ready until 12:20 and that was ordering an hour ahead! The place is very badly managed and I feel much happier now that my wife has finally agreed with me that enough is enough. I am sooo done with this place. read more

If you go into the restaurant during the busy dinner time you can wait at the counter for long periods before they will even pay attention to you, as they are working on drive thru and take out. I can only speak for their Sandy location but I have found them to be the most reliably good Chinese food delivery in my area. I've tried others, like Golden Key, and the food was old and dried out. I always tip $3 and deliveries are consistently on time. There is better Chinese food out there, it'll probably never be as good as an authentic Chinese restaurant, but those don't deliver in my area. read more

This location is awful. I thought this was a fast food restaurant? I have been waiting for 20 minutes for the food I ordered in the drive thru, and I'm still waiting. They told me 10 minutes on EVERYTHING! They literally told me it'll be a 10 minute wait.. on.. EVERYTHING. And I'm sitting here watching them thru the window, giving other people their orders. 15 minutes after I ordered, people are walking in and out with food as I still wait. I went into panda express just looking for a small entree of orange chicken, stood there for 10-15 minutes and waited patiently for help while they were in a rush. just to finally be helped and told that there is no orange chicken for the night, how about a little heads up while i stand there? how about a sign on the door for your most popular entree being out of stock? how about real customer service instead of ignoring me like i'm not there? i am very disappointed with the service and will be taking my business elsewhere. read more

Eh. Its a hit and miss here but it's fast and I'm a sucker for free food. Yeah.. I had a coupon for a free entrée. I went early thinking it would be fresh. I was the only one in the whole place. Good sign....or bad. Well....noticing that some options weren't even made yet, I'm thinking I came a bit too early now. I asked the lady behind the counter about some of the missing options. She told me I could still order anything and they would cook it up for me ASAP. Oh yeah. How fresh was that? So, I ordered the mushroom chicken and orange chicken that were already sitting in their warming pots. I picked a green bean chicken as another entrée. The green bean chicken needed to be made yet, so they told me they would bring it out ASAP. Oh they made it ASAP alright. I give them a star for fast service, but unfortunately, the green bean chicken was a little too fresh. I don't even think they cooked the beans. Not even steamed or stir fried them. Just crunchy crunch green beans with sauce poured over them and a piece of chicken. Hmmm.... Yes, I like fresh, but I wasn't expecting raw. The mushroom chicken and orange chicken tasted good even though they were both semi-warm. And the noodles.....they're always addicting. I swear they put something in them to make you crave more. They probably aren't even ethnic chinese noodles, but man...do they taste good. So yeah, You get what you don't pay for. read more

I would not normally take the time to reach out, but this experience was by far the worst Panda experience I have had to date. My experience left me with multiple areas of concern. 1.) my selection was unavailable, then when I placed my order I was 2.) given the wrong item and also overcharged 3.) $1.25 for the black pepper steak instead of the chicken. (didn't realize this until we got home) 4.) We then got parked and had to wait for the order. When we ordered we ordered 3 bigger plates and asked for 4 teriyakis and 2 sweet and sour. After they delivered the food to our car, I noticed that we didn't have any sauce in our bag so I had to go back into the location, wait in line only to be told that we could not have 4 teriyaki sauce cups. and 2 sweet-n-sour cups. 5.) The lady was rude. I offered to pay if she needed to charge and she said she could not give us 4 teriyaki sauces. I was given 2 teriyaki and 2 sweet and sour, and she was firm that we could not get more sauce. I really don't understand how this location has gone downhill so much. The last few times we have gone through the drive-thru we have had items missing or wrong but we live about 5 miles away and it's not worth the inconvenience to come back through. I get that mistakes happen, but please have someone double-check the order before handing it out the window. I don't understand the point of banning plastic but serving food in styrofoam containers? First off I always order the plate meal, with side of rangoons and a large drink it cost $11.80, today I order the same thing only with a medium drink cost, $13.15, that is ridiculous. Not only this I had to fight flies off my food while I ate, they were in the restroom as well. Then when I get to almost being finished eating I find a hair in the bite I was about to take. Plus as I look at the lighted menu before leaving hello cockroach crawling behind the plastic of the menu. Somebody needs an exterminator and a health inspector for sure. We go here often and it's true that some times the trays are real low but the staff are pros at getting what I want fresh and quickly! I seem to get larger serving when I have to wait anyway. Works for me! The food isn't real salty as normal Chinese restaurants which is healthier and actually tastes better. My wife and I really enjoy the Samurai Surf n Turf. Steak and shrimp is a great combo. Ask for a sample and you'll be a fan too. This location is always clean including the tables. They work hard there. read more

Been before, and expect generally decent food. Today though we went to order in the dining room and there was no meal menu up on the board! The display panel normally reserved to give general sizes and prices was gone, replaced by a seasonal promotional panel. Prices for sides and drinks remained, but not for meals. When asked what we wanted to order...we had no idea without the menu choices displayed. Had to ask the counter help for the sizes and prices. We were flabbergasted at the incompetence of the manager or worker that removed this key info. Not sure we'll go back to this Panda anytime soon. read more

This place continues to be a joke. I waited in line over 15 mins with just one person in front of me inside the restaurant. The entire time there were 4 employees standing in the front, but only one was actually 'working' - the others just acted like they were waiting for someone to tell them to actually do some work, while one was wiping the counter and looking out into space. Then, I actually watched the employee put her hand in the guys plastic bowl after handling the nasty bleach towel - no gloves, no hand washing. YUCK! At no time did the employees greet customers in front or at least say, "be with you in a minute." They just stood there and avoided contact. There is no manager type present and all the girls 'standing around' all have attitudes with absolutely no customer service skills. They act as if they don't work there. This is a new location for Panda and very clean and not too busy. The food is usually out, but they offer to cook you fresh, which is nice. They are quick and friendly. The new Shrimp they have, the golden shrimp, so sooooo good. They are deep fried and coated in a sauce that reminds you of sweet chili sauce. The crust stays crisp and the spice isn't very hot. read more
