    Orange chicken and fried rice

Got two orders to go of fried rice and orange chicken. Food was fresh, hot, clean restaurant and good staff.

Handed my food in a paper bag with both containers turned sideways and contents leaking out. Covered in food before I could even pull away from the parking lot...all over my clothes, seatbelt, and front seat of my car. Tried to contact the restaurant but they won't answer their phone. Not sure I can do their review on their website since the code number was soaked and illegible.

Eh. Its a hit and miss here but it's fast and I'm a sucker for free food. Yeah.. I had a coupon for a free entrée. I went early thinking it would be fresh. I was the only one in the whole place. Good sign....or bad. Well....noticing that some options weren't even made yet, I'm thinking I came a bit too early now. I asked the lady behind the counter about some of the missing options. She told me I could still order anything and they would cook it up for me ASAP. Oh yeah. How fresh was that? So, I ordered the mushroom chicken and orange chicken that were already sitting in their warming pots. I picked a green bean chicken as another entrée. The green bean chicken needed to be made yet, so they told me they would bring it out ASAP. Oh they made it ASAP alright. I give them a star for fast service, but unfortunately, the green bean chicken was a little too fresh. I don't even think they cooked the beans. Not even steamed or stir fried them. Just crunchy crunch green beans with sauce poured over them and a piece of chicken. Hmmm.... Yes, I like fresh, but I wasn't expecting raw. The mushroom chicken and orange chicken tasted good even though they were both semi-warm. And the noodles.....they're always addicting. I swear they put something in them to make you crave more. They probably aren't even ethnic chinese noodles, but man...do they taste good. So yeah, You get what you don't pay for.

$31 for 3 meals and I cant get 4 teriyaki sauces? WTF? you guys only fill them half way as well...

Food was ok. Clean building and staff. The price is little less then a restaurant but more expensive then a drive-thru.

But it was usually too early to too late, or I was in too big a hurry. On this opportune visit it was lunch time and finally I had a chance to finally try Yu's Garden. The lunch menu was both varied and fairly priced. I tried the General Tsao's lunch with hot and sour soup. There was a lady handling the serving duties and she was excellent handling the few of us who were seated in the dining area. I assume someone else handled the lounge as several people entered that as I ate lunch. The soup was quite good, not too peppery but loads of flavor. The General Tsao was a very good representation of American Chinese food. The flavors really popped and there was quite enough to fill up even me. All in all, I really enjoyed Yu's even though it is decidedly in need of an interior upgrade. Skip the truck stop food and give Yu's Garden a try.

I was a little put off from the second we walked in; no employee present for several minutes, no one sitting down, and sketchy people going to the lounge. The lighting was dark, surfaces dirty, and I would not have felt comfortable dining in with my family. The food itself was okay...whereas I thought it was average and would entertain getting takeout again, the rest of them unanimously gave it a 'thumbs-down'. Probably won't be back.

I love all their food, in particular the fried shrimp and egg fried rice. We had honey walnut shrimp today which is amazing. I've never had anything I didn't like here. What keeps us coming back though is the whole experience. The staff is genuinely warm and friendly, the kind of place where you feel like a regular even on your second or third visit. Consistent food, consistent service. Highly recommend.

This time, we decided to go in--and we're really glad we did. The food was excellent, and the service stood out even more. The person running the restaurant was incredibly friendly, fun to talk to, and genuinely helpful. Honestly, the service alone would bring us back. The menu has everything you'd want from a Chinese restaurant--lots of variety and plenty of options. We decided to try the combination plates (which are listed toward the back of the menu), and that was the right call for us since we like to share family-style without ordering oversized portions. My wife ordered the combo with sweet and sour chicken, fried rice, and teriyaki chicken. I went with Szechuan beef, General Tso's chicken, and fried rice. We also added a large order of egg rolls, which were clearly made fresh in-house. Everything tasted great, and the portions were generous--even the combination plates were more than enough. Overall, we had a really good experience and will definitely be coming back.

A lot of restaurants claim that they serve Szechuan food, but it's just regular Chinese food... This spot has both, and the Szechuan part is pretty good! We accidentally ordered 2 fried dishes by mistake, but they were both pretty delicious! We got the dried fish filet and spicy chicken/popcorn chicken. The fish was so crispy and savory... I didn't try the regular menu, but I will definitely come back to try more of their Szechuan menu soon (there were two separate menus when we came in). The staff was friendly, and the setting was chill! The free tea is always a plus :) If you love mala/szechuan flavours, try it out!

We were a walk in at 6:55 pm, so we were expecting things to possibly be busier during the dinner…read morerush. We entered, immediately wrote our name down, and wasn't seated until 730. There wasn't a staff at the door, I think I would have appreciated someone coming to the front to check in with us about wait time estimations, but they only came to the front to tell us to put our name down after 20 minutes of us kinda waiting by the front. They took our order quickly, certain items they mentioned they were too busy to make, which was fine and understandable. So they'd recommend another dish in its place. The reason I mainly knocked a star is once we ordered, the appetizer came out quickly but no one ever really checked in on how we were doing, we didn't get a water refill or at least were unable to flag anyone down to do the quick bringing out of plates to other tables waiting and zooming back to the kitchen. We eventually got one of our entrees the honey walnut shrimp 15 min later, but no bowls of rice. We had to wait until our second entree came out 10 minutes later to get to enjoy our meal with the rice. I would've preferred if the rice was brought out earlier or at the same time, and trying to flag someone down for the rice was difficult. Eventually by 830 pm we got our last dish, the vegetables. Which would have been ideally eaten alongside our proteins. Wait times were very long, which would be overall fine if someone had communicated or checked back in. Food overall was fine. Honey walnut shrimp was more caramelized here, I think other spots tend to be more on the creamier side. Fish fillets were more breading than fish. Vegetables were fine overall, probably not the stunner last entree dish to finish off the night but overall fine. The appetizer beef tendon were good, it definitely has that numbing sensation with the peppercorns you find. Overall, for a Sunday night for dinner it was bustling, a lot of folks were waiting for items and I overheard other tables asking for things to just be cancelled due to the length of time it took. There's lots of tables and booths, it got fairly loud but nothing out of the ordinary of both restaurants.
