We placed a large order totaling around $90 for ourselves and my brother-in-law's family. When my husband ordered, he specifically asked for 7 duck sauces, which were clearly listed on the receipt. When we picked up the food, we paid and even left a $9 tip. My husband checked the bag before leaving and noticed the duck sauces were missing. When he politely asked for them, the woman at the counter raised her voice and claimed we hadn't been charged--again, despite the receipt showing the charge for 7 duck sauces in black and white. My husband reminded her he had asked for them and even tipped generously, and that if there was an issue, she could simply take it out of the tip. Instead of resolving it calmly, she continued to be loud and disrespectful. It wasn't until the man working there stepped in that she finally handed over the sauces. This was disappointing and unnecessary. My husband is a huge Chinese food lover, and we truly wanted to enjoy a nice meal while visiting family. Instead, we left angry and disappointed. They also have lunch specials that include a drink or an egg roll for less than $6, which I think is pretty good. The portions are always a nice size. We generally pick up the food to go and haven't had any issues. The inside isn't much to look at, as I think it's mainly for take out, but you can eat there if you want. It looked good but the taste would be the real test. Vegetables that snap because they are fresh. Rice that was just the right amount of sticky and fluffy. When we got home we were delighted to find a large container of soup with dumplings atop which it was written FREE. What a lovely surprise! The family feedback is that the pork is tender and perfectly cooked, and the chicken fried rice is also yummy. I don't eat meat but the family are enjoying the soup. My Mei Fun is delicious. I love that it doesn't have fillers like water chestnuts but instead fresh broccoli. We will definitely order again from China One because the food is good, the customer service and efficiency are excellent, and the location works because I was able to fill up my gas tank, drop off a Goodwill donation, and run into Aldi for a couple of items while it was cooking.
