The best fried chicken in my part of town and the service is good as well. I love their fried rice and low mein as well.

We've been looking for a solid Chinese restaurant in Port Richmond for a couple years now, and New China is going to be our go to from now on! We ordered the veggie mei fun, veggie fried rice, veggie lo mein and the fried veggie dumplings. All were fantastic. The veggies in each dish were cooked perfectly and very fresh. The dumplings were particularly great, and made in a way I've never quite had before. One tip, I'd recommend calling the restaurant directly to order. We had trouble with ordering online, as the secondary ordering service didn't notify the restaurant. As soon as we called New China though, they were very apologetic and quickly got our food to us. Very nice service, even though it wasn't their fault. Excited to order again! Five stars in every way

After opening the food I had to read the description again to try and figure out what was what. There were things in there that just weren't in the description. Which would've been fine if it was good but most of it wasn't. I've ordered fro here a few times and it's always some version of ok. This time it was bad. So I guess I'll just give up on this place.

They do have other menu items besides dumplings and everything we've had has been delicious especially the shredded beef and pepper noodles (no soup) and any of the stir-fried udon noodle dishes. Definitely worth the drive to Cherry Hill to Nan Xiang.

Liked the beef soup so much on my first visit that I returned the next day to try other dishes…read more First visit we tried: - beef noodle soup - soup dumplings: veg, chicken, beef - scallion pancake w/ beef - black sesame mochi (dessert) Out of all the dishes the beef noodle soup and chicken soup dumplings were THE BEST. Both felt like a warm hug. The scallion pancake w beef was tasty but it was overwhelmed by too much hoisin sauce + the pancake was a little greasy. The black sesame mochi and veggie soup dumplings were criminal. We forgave the dessert and terrible veggie soup dumplings and returned for a second visit to try more items so the new items we tried were: - chicken udon noodles (stir fry) - cucumber salad Both were mediocre and not worth getting. Cucumber salad lacked flavor. Udon noodles were plain and flavor was minimal. I would return for the beef noodle soup, the broth was rich yet light. The beef was so tender it melted in your mouth. If you have a beef soup craving this will hit the spot. Service was quick and consistent.

I also enjoyed the shrimp youtiao, a bit greasier but that's literally in the name "you"= oil. Like many of the items on their menu, they make a unique use of the youtiao. We were also excited to finally try the lobster bisque dumplings since they were out the last time we stopped in. It does taste like a lobster bisque dumplings since, so think western flavor profile instead of Asian - but if you like lobster bisque like my husband you'll enjoy this ! The sauce was a bit saltier than my preference, but all around solid. We also tried the seafood soup dumplings which were great, nice ocean of flavor. The only one that wasn't very memorable were the green pictured dumplings in my photos, but I always appreciate a good veg option. 5 items between 2 persons left us satisfied fullness wise, and ran us about $77 including tax and tip. I really love the menu and creativity behind Mana. It's also delicious and unique compared to a lot of the cookie cutter dimsum spots that we have a plethora of in Philly. I truly hope this spot lasts! I definitely recommend checking Mana out. Go go go !

The way I'd describe the food is, you'll see a common takeout chinese item but expect less sugar, less sauce and simply elevated. The portions are big and the prices are fair as well. The plating is pure art as well. Lobster Bisque Dumpling (4/5) - the bisque is incredible creamy and flavorful, I ended up finishing the broth with white rice, my husband didn't believe it was real lobster meat because the price was so good, I told him to believe! Lychee Bloom (5/5) - so beautiful, minced shrimp meat in a ball that came on skewer sticks to mimic a real lychee, the accompanying plum sauce was so good Kung Pao Style (5/5 - with shrimp, loved how the veggies still had a bite and the shrimp was not overcooked Sha-rry Udon (5/5) - personally did not try but was told the beef was flavorful and not overcooked and the dish was not drowning in sauce The desserts looked very creative! Would try them next time, I've attached the dessert menu, take a peak! Also paid $70 only for 2 seafood appetizers and 2 full entrees, such a great price!
