Had my food delivered to a hotel just down the street, for which they charged me $3. Not bad! Their food is VERY good. I would almost say phenomenal. I am literally wolfing down the pork fried rice and egg rolls. The large fried rice piles high on a regular size dinner plate, spilling off the sides. Stickyness is perfect. I ordered it with extra pork, and it sure looks like it, but they didn't charge me for it. Large fried rice was $13.45. Eggrolls. Perfect. Delivery guy: Happy and pleasant! It was my first time ordering from Yummy Yummy. I placed a pick up order by calling and was greeted by a man. He was helpful in answering my questions, gave me recommendations, and was accurate on the wait time: 15 minutes. The service was fast, informative, and professional. The menu that I had found on Google is not accurate to the one that is at the restaurant so make sure to pick up your own! I have included pictures of the menu in this review, which I found in my takeout. As for my order, I ordered a vegetable spring roll (#3), a large boneless spare ribs (#6), and a pepper steak with onion combination platter (#C6). When I picked up my order, everything was hot and just as I wanted it. They have even included a small bag of sauces --I forgot to ask for them! For my meal, #C6, it included a side of pork fried rice and pork egg roll. The food portion is honestly enough for two people and is great for the price. I couldn't even finish all of it! The steak was well done and juicy. I love the sauce that the steak, onions, and green peppers were sautéed with and it paired well with the pork fried rice. The pork spring roll was also a nice touch. As for the other two items that was ordered, my cousin thought the vegetable spring roll was very tasty and boneless spare ribs were good. Not bad. Was in the area, so decided to order take-out. Had the "Wontons in Hot Sesame Oil" and Chicken with Broccoli lunch special. Lunch special comes with either an egg roll or soup, so I went with Hot and Sour Soup. Wontons in Hot Sesame Oil are not the 紅油抄手 wontons, FYI. They're more like the wontons in your typical Chinese take-out wonton soup. The sauce was also not hot sesame oil; it was more hoisin/peanut butter/sesame - if you've had HK rice rolls, the sauce is similar to the one on those. Chicken with Broccoli was better than average and not oily. It did have too much rice for my liking, but that's because I like to eat less rice. Hot and Sour Soup was decent. Forks, sauces, fortune cookies, and napkins were packaged nicely separately. Very thoughtful compared to others that may forget to give you any. Since Chinese take-out places are everywhere and you can't really tell if it's good, thought I'd put my two cents out there. We will be back when we're in the area to try the other lunch specials. I hate even writing this review, as this was our go-to, always consistent, take out choice. Not anymore. Two weeks ago i had Covid so i was in quarantine. We picked up yummy yummy. Sooooooo disappointing. I actually thought i lost my sense of taste. I didn't. (My husband confirmed it wasn't me!) The general tso sauce was literally tasteless. As was my husbands sweet and sour chicken (which they gave him duck sauce instead of whatever that thicker red/orange sauce is). The egg roll was equally as bland. They're either watering down the sauces (and the deep fry oil) or they got a new cook who should go find another job. The cold noodles with sesame was ok as was the wonton soup. I've ordered food at various times of the day/night seeing if it's still as good as it was the first night I ordered it. Yes it sure is!! Beef & broccoli to die for; simply tender beef, delicious brown sauce and broccoli that looks and tastes as though it was just prepared for you, each & every time. We've ordered several different dishes and each as delicious as the other. One small comment is we have NEVER had pork fried rice as delicious as Yummy Yummy prepares it. I absolutely LOVE this place. The pancakes that go with their chicken mushu are thicker then normal pancakes you get from other places and they taste AMAZING! Gave this place a chance based on yelp reviews and location to hotel. The food is made to order and not kept under a hot light like Panda express. Place looks clean and was busy with lots of take out orders and phone orders. We decided to eat inside and not go back to hotel. The order taker seems unfriendly but looked busy.
