    Boneless Spare Ribs

Great food at reasonable prices. Today we ordered the general tsos chicken which was deliciously crispy, Szechuan bean curd which was yummy and flavorful and had lots of veggies, and boneless spare ribs which were solid. Pork fried rice was good too, not dry and flavorful enough. We've also had the fried chicken here before which is delicious (a tidbit salty). The egg rolls are nothing special. Really enjoyed this meal and had lots of leftovers for two people!

I was looking for a nearby restaurant on UberEats that severed both Chinese and sushi. This was the only restaurant I could fine! I was skeptical- but with these reviews I decided to give it a try. I was very pleasantly surprised! Everything was delicious, no errors, correct amount, etc. I was sad to see yelps delivery rate was higher than uber eats or else I would have gotten it delivered through yelp. Now coming back to review- I am a little nervous that the business is unclaimed AND the health score is super low for separate orders of sushi and Chinese I will go elsewhere because of this health score, but if both are wanted I will order again?!

Solid Chinese food and sushi. I ordered via DoorDash and I picked up the food in person. I really over-ordered for our party for 2, but I'm happy to have leftovers. This is what we got: Spicy Tuna Roll and Alaskan Roll (good size), Wonton Soup, Pork Fried Dumplings, Szechuan Bean Curd, Chicken Sticks and Pork Fried Rice. All were very good and overall I was impressed.

Live down the street from the place and was craving Chinese, so I gave it a try. Sushi tasted good, but everything else was alright 7/10

I feel like I'm in the Twilight Zone reading all of these positive reviews. What is going on here?? I just finished my meal and can't even wait until tomorrow morning to write the review! This is definitely not the answer to our lack of Chinese and sushi restaurants. All of the food here was absolutely flavorless, served in heaping portions, and mushy. The egg roll was seriously filled with kimchi. The inside was pink and tasted like vinegar. When I asked my husband what he thought of it he couldn't put his finger on the weird flavor. When I suggested it tasted like kimchi he was like YES! The beef with broccoli and the lo mein both tasted like MSG and nothingness. My husband referred to the lo mein as "brown noodles." The wonton soup was the only marginally edible thing here, but you don't get much in your order, so there's that. The sushi was worse than grocery store sushi. The seaweed wrap was in edible in that you couldn't chew it! It wouldn't break up in my mouth. It just basically un-rolled itself while I was chewing. The water (yes I'm about to talk about tap water) tasted like plastic. Maybe it was the glass (which wasn't made of glass)? Who knows. The waitress was very nice and said "thank you" after every sentence, but she messed up my order and brought me house lo mein instead of just pork. Also, the credit card system is very odd and we didn't get a receipt. This joint would be great for beer and convenience store offerings. Please, don't make the mistake we did and eat here. I can't fault them for trying to cover the need, but it's just not good.

    Tiger roll
    Stephanie G.

Got delivery from capital beer through Uber eats. Came exactly on time given the quoted estimate on the app. We ordered two tiger rolls, an eel avocado roll and steamed dumplings. The dumplings were awesome. Absolutely perfectly made to my liking with the thicker dumpling as opposed to the softer more flimsy dough covering. The sauce that accompanied it was good as well. Both rolls were great. The tiger roll came with 8 rolls and the eel avocado roll had 6 rolls. They gave us 4 containers of soy sauce. We could have had less containers and more inside each container. They gave us two pairs of chopsticks but also there was an empty chopstick paper holder which was odd. They didn't include any fortune cookies but they included plenty of napkins. All in all good experience. Would order again.

Ordered roasted pork lo mein, general tsos chicken, crab rangoons, & egg rolls.

The homemade DanDan noodles were our favorite, which are served with ground pork in a spicy peanut sauce. We also got the three cup chicken which was so good, with a sweet, licorice-like glaze. Some other favorites were the black pepper chicken and the long hot chicken, if you enjoy spice. We had the ginger and scallion dish and was not our favorite, as the chicken had a unique consistency and was quite limp. Overall, good service and a relaxing ambiance in a bustling city.

Unfortunately the experience at pickup wasn't the best. I asked if they had included utensils and the gentleman at the counter said no. I asked for some since I was bringing the food back to my hotel and wouldn't have anything to eat with. He was pretty dismissive and didn't seem to want to give me anything. (I also didn't get any napkins.) Just a little strange when ordering takeout, utensils should be included right? Or at the very least be readily given out when requested? He begrudgingly gave me 2 pairs of chopsticks and a fork, said he ran out of spoons. I didn't notice the lack of napkins until I got back. Now for the food. We ordered dan dan noodles, a chicken lo mein, and Taiwanese minced pork rice. The noodle dishes were decent but the lo mein was a bit too al dente for our liking...especially for our young son. Didn't get a chance to eat the rice because we were all too full from the noodles. Appreciate the generous portions at least. Will see if the rice will make it home safely with us and reheats well. Can't speak on the ambience. Wasn't in there long enough to really look around. Will I order from them again or try in person in the future? I'm not sure. I wasn't blown away by the food or service so...

Lazy Sunday after an unsuccessful Memorial Day beach weekend. It was cold and rainy all weekend but…read morewe decided to hit up some beef noodle soup place to warm up. On this cold almost summer day, Nan Zhou was hustling and bustling. Separate parties at the same round table and clients coming in and out of the restaurant facade. Warm lighting and active banter. I received my bowl of beef noodle soup was pretty satisfied. Beef was tender with flavorful bites of fattiness. Somehow, the meat tastes beefier than beef. The cilantro had potent herbaceous flavor with some spinach(?) and mustard greens. Noodles were pleasantly chewy w variation in texture. Lowkey, everything else was alright. I like to be nice so I'll say no more. Cucumbers were fine

This place was packed, which is always a good sign, and even with that the staff stayed super prompt and professional. The house special was my favorite. I got it with the knife-cut noodles and it was perfect with the broth. The noodles had that slightly uneven, chewy texture that really holds onto the soup. I never thought I'd be the type to talk about "mouthfeel" but here we are. The broth itself was rich and savory with a deep beef flavor, a little bit of oil on top that adds body without feeling too heavy. It's that classic, comforting Chinese beef noodle soup done really well. I added a braised egg, which had great flavor soaked into it, though it was served cold, which threw me off a bit. The mapo tofu with noodles was also really solid. It had that signature spicy, numbing kick from the Sichuan peppercorns, balanced with a savory, slightly salty sauce. The tofu was soft and silky, and mixing it with the noodles made it extra satisfying. It's got some heat but not overwhelming, just enough to keep you going back for another bite. The shrimp stir fry was lighter but still flavorful. The shrimp were cooked well, tender with a slight snap, and the sauce leaned more on the savory side with a mild sweetness. It felt like a nice balance alongside the heavier noodle dishes. Couple practical things: it's cash only, but there's an ATM right by the seating area which makes it easy. And the portions are generous for the price, so it feels like a really good deal. Overall, super satisfying spot. Busy, a little chaotic, but the food absolutely delivers. Definitely a go-to if you're craving hand-pulled noodles.

A bit on the higher priced side for this dish but as I've had some great food from a different Han Dynasty location I didn't mind trying them out. Portion size was average on the chicken. The spice level says 8/10 but it was definitely on the weaker side. Maybe the peppers themselves were older / dried out and the flavor faded too much vs fresher peppers right before cooking. Maybe a bad choice of dish or an off day but as compared to a few other Sichuan dry pepper dishes from other restaurants around Philly it was a clear step below them. Might try a different choice if I order again.
