I had a watch battery replace and bought a new watch band. Total price was 12 dollars. Battery replacement was 5 dollars and band was 7 dollars. I often replace my own watch battery, but this particular watch's snap back case was too difficult for me to get off. If I bought a similar watch band at target, that alone would have been 12 dollars. The watch band was one of those metal ones with links and he made an adjustment so it would perfectly fit my wrist. Amazing, quick service. Did a full service on 2 vintage watches with complex mechanisms; Gruen Air Flight and a 60's Diver Chronograph. The prices were more than reasonable. The turn around time was a week or less. There was a slight issue with the chronograph after service which the watchmaker repaired at no extra charge. I walked in on a lazy Saturday afternoon with two watches in hand, one needing a battery replacement and the other requiring the removal of a couple links. Having heard my problems, Victor removed one link at a time and had me try on the watch each time to make sure the fit was not too loose or too tight. Once I was satisfied, he moved on to the second watch and in less than ten minutes both watches were good as new. As the cherry on top, he set both watches to the correct time. I have been looking for a good watch repair guy since my guy in Chinatown retired. I have been collecting mechanical watches for 40 years and they need work from time to time. I dropped off 4 watches with various problems they were done quickly and the work was very good. A 1960's Zodiac was overhauled and timed and is now accurate to under a minute a day. In the heart of downtown flushing. The customer service here was very good. It took him couple of minutes to replace the battery.
