My iPad randomly turned black one day. I tried connecting it to iTunes but it wouldn't let me update it, nor delete what was on it. I called local repair shops and they would me it would possibly be the LED screen, and it would be around $300. I found this place and decided to call and the guy was really down to earth and told me what it might be but he would have to see it to make sure. Took it in and he wasn't able to fix it, but he did manage to pull the serial number and told me the iPad actually still had factory warranty, told me where to go online and how to do it. Wow! I am just so impressed with Minh aka Mr.Panda. I texted him around 330 to see if he could fix my mom's phone. My poor mother has been operating with a cracked screen for months and I finally got a chance to remember to get it fix. Also, I thought I could score some extra brownie points while I'm at it. For months, I had 2 IPhone 5S, one with a terrible cracked screen and another that drained the battery within 4-5 hours and an IPad 2, 4th generation with a broken screen. I made an appointment at midnight yesterday and today I was able to come in early to discuss my poor injured iphone 8 plus. The screen was coming off and bent from the top part. The touch screen was going crazy on its own after the accident and PandaFixx was able to explain the process and gave me an accurate estimate before I committing. Yesterday, late afternoon, I thought of washing my car. Had my iPhone 6s+ playing some music through a bluetooth speaker. Once done, still with wet soapy hands I picked up my phone to answer a call. It happened so fast, next thing my phone is laying flat on the concrete, LCD facedown. After almost 8 years of owning iPhones, my first experience of cracking the whole glass faceplate. Researched on google and Yelp on iPhone repairs. Made several calls this morning to explore getting it fixed. Ranged from $85 to $149. Called Minh at Pandafixx and made a 4:00 PM appointment. Figure I could drop off the phone while I shopped at Costco / Panama Lane. Minh was very helpful and said it would take 45 minutes to an hour. He cleaned out the water damage and put on a new screen (it was foggy and not turning on). I took my phone home (to the Bay Area) and unfortunately it stopped working two days later.
