I'm not one that complains however I feel I need to share my experience last night. Came in at 7:30 was the only one there as a couple was finished and were chatting. I ordered soup, wings and Thai tea to go asking for my tea to drink while I wait about 10 minutes later the couple orders pad Thai and satay to go shortly there after they get there food and leave .... Now the worst part, the girl who is the server/cashier goes into the restrooms with cleaning supplies and returns carrying trash cans with ungloved hands. I ask why my order is taking so long and was told wings take longer......waited a few more minutes and based on her putting the trash down not washing her hands I decided to leave it was 8:03. Never got my tea or order after over 30 minutes with no one there! read more

I can't believe this place is in Crowley and not some cool little corner of Dallas. The people that run it are nice and the food is always good. The portion sizes are huge too! If you like Thai you have GOT to try this place. You'll be back! read more

I would have never stopped if a friend had not taken me in there... don't let the appearance keep you away!!The food was sooo good!! I love their Thai fried rice and chicken satay!! Their dishes are big portions, and they keep boxes out for easy access. It's kind of a serve yourself thing, you grab your own menu, order at the counter and if you have a fountain drink you help yourself. Food always comes out quickly and always hot. I went here based on the high ratings and also, a recommendation from a friend. I wanted to like this place badly, but I could not. The atmosphere was just off. Like previous reviewers, this restaurant is a self-serve/fast food kind of set up. You order your meals at the counter with the young teenager who's neck is infested with hickies (yuck!) and she brings you your food. Everything else, you get it yourself. They never come back to ask you how your meal is or anything. The food was just okay. Nothing special. I definitely had better, more authenthic Thai food elsewhere. This is my go-to when I want some curry on the way home from work and don't want to eat out. The place is small, but the red and green curries are worth calling in your order for pick up. It's hot, fresh, and hits the spot, especially when I'm under the weather. read more

I have to eat Gluten Free so typically I bypass Asian cuisine because generally they use soy sauce that has wheat in it. I was so pleased to find out most of Pandan Thai Kitchen's menu is Gluten Free! Gluten Free does not mean taste free at Pandan Thai. I like to order their chicken fried rice. Nothing fancy but so delicious. They give you a lot of food too so I eat half one day and then can't wait to eat the remainder for lunch the next day. You have to look for it, because it's kind of hidden back in a strip mall, but Pandan is worth searching for. I've had their pad thai, pad see yew, pad kee maw, and all of their curries, and I haven't had a bad dish here. Also, try their shrimp chips with spicy cream cheese dip - great to snack on instead of popcorn or corn chips. read more

Don't judge a book by its cover. I have eaten at several Thai restaurants and have been let down probably 90% of the time. Yes the place looks like $#it but the food is great! Check it out. You wont be disappointed. I ordered the Pad Kee-Mow 5 star! It was delicious and very fresh. read more

Just had lunch here today & it was great. I had the Pad Kee Mow.....very good. Went with 3 others & each enjoyed their entre. For dessert we shared ice cream with hot pastry & fresh strawberries/pineapple which we'll be having again. So happy to have a Thai restaurant close to home. We will be back. read more

This is a must!!! Great Family Thai Homestyle Cooking. I have been there 3 times and tried the pad thai, pad see eew, and the pad kra pow. All meals were phenomenal. We used to drive from Johnson county all the way to hurst. The first time we went to Pandan we were so plessed that our new fav was closer. Please try the Chicken Satay. Not sure why they have people answer the phones that don't know the menu tried to order special they have on the board in the dining room and had to continue to explain several times and the girl acted like didn't know what I was talking and was actually kinda rude made me feel uncomfortable , do people not understand how important it is who answers your business phone !!! love the food but the order process is ridiculous will try once more than we r done they really need to work on the customer service sad because the food is awesome!! read more

What a great little restaurant! My husband and I visited for lunch and were really impressed. The building was small, like a cafe, but the food was wonderful. I ordered the PadThai and was delighted in the amount of food, presentation, and taste. My husband ordered a chicken appetizer that had a great sauce and flavor. The building was clean, open, and friendly. Prices ranged from a $4 appetizers to, on average, $9 plates. Overall it was a good lunch experience and we would definitely consider going again. read more

The pineapple fried rice and pad thai are just so flavorful and perfect, with the pad thai having just that hint of heat that I like, but not overly so. Their chicken satay is to die for as well. . Pandan is a shocking cultural discovery in the extraordinarily blah culinary landscape of Crowley (better than the town deserves). Since I work less than a mile away, I would love for this to be a consistent lunch option. Unfortunately, it is not. I have been to Pandan a handful of times, and it has been decent to good, but never awful or great. Today was an exception. 35 minutes is never an acceptable wait time for a small bowl of soup, most especially at lunch. This is third time I have ordered the Tom Kha soup, and the second time it has had an aftertaste of rancidity. For a place located in Crowley (no offense Crowley, or yes... take offense), I don't see Pandan as a significant value. True, there is little else but fast food within the area, but I would rather spend 20 minutes driving to Thailicious at 30 and Hulen. Thailicious is better on food, atmosphere, and definitely on service. Their lunch curry is offered with nutty brown rice, salad, and spring roll for little more than the price of Pandan's curry. read more

I'm glad to see authentic Thai food in the Crowley/Burleson area. Don't be discouraged by the location. The service is friendly. What we really enjoyed were the large portions and great taste. We have visited here a couple times. After the second visit I realized why we hadn't been back sooner after the first visit. I ordered the pad Thai with chicken and really liked it both times. Daughters #1 & #3 loved the Thai fried rice with beef. We ordered them an adult meal to split as the children's menu is very expensive for what you get. We did order daughter #2 a kids' meal, which she didn't like. They leave out the veggies in the kids options, I guess assuming most kids don't like them. My kids don't love them, but I have taught them to eat them from an early age and appreciate them being offered in kids' meals. It was a lo mein-type dish with chicken and noodles only. All that to say, the food (and portions) is pretty good overall, but expensive for what it is and for the experience. I think $10 for a meal would be more acceptable in a seated restaurant with service. The atmosphere isn't that great and you order at the front, like a fast food place, and have to gather your drink, napkins and utensils yourself. I don't mind doing this, I just wouldn't expect their pricing to be so high. read more
