To start the staff gave customers old egg rolls, that were clearly from the day before. Next, both the black pepper and sesame chicken were extremely chewy with the exception of the mushroom and teriyaki chicken. I've eaten here plenty of times over the years. Friendly service and establishment always clean and organized. For the amount of food you get at these prices are reasonable. However I've had better. I recently went in a purchased a two entree meal. I asked for Orange Chicken , Sweet and Sour Shrimp and Egg Drop Soup w/Green Onions. Orange Chicken wasn't so bad but could have used a little less of the Orange marmalade. The Sweet and Sour Shrimp was HORRIBLE. It was way overcooked and not edible at all. This place was totally not what I expected. It's definitely not your "traditional" Chinese food takeout/restaurant. The best way to describe it is that it's like Panda Express but local and the plates are loaded. I even heard someone say "d--! that's a lot of food!" because these ladies weren't stingy with the portions. I originally came because I wanted some chicken fried rice, and you are still able to order other items off the menu, you just let the cashier know and they make it fresh. Our styrofoam boxes were heavy and the food was delicious! The three stars is due to the wait. Unfortunately, I was not able to order online and the number I found wasn't the right number. I also wasn't the only one with this problem. For two fried rice plates, I waited 30 minutes! If I could have ordered ahead that could have been avoided and their rating definitely would be higher. If you are in the mood for Panda Express and want your moneys worth while supporting local, I definitely recommend this place! However, if you want something else for the menu and don't have the time or patience to wait, I would suggest looking elsewhere. read more

China One Xpress is one of those places that I occasionally go to because of convenience. The first couple of times that I went there, I ordered something with shrimp. Like so many other places, the shrimp tasted frost bitten and had a film on them. Not good at all. Based on those visits alone, I would give it a 1 star...but I've learned a trick. Veggie fried rice!!! By staying away from the seafood, my meals have been decent! To be fair, all of my friends who eat beef and chicken like what they get, but I don't eat that, so I wouldn't be able to comment on those dishes! In addition, this place gives you TONS of food! My veggie fried rice could be 3 servings, or 2 if I'm real hungry, and it only costs 4 or 5 bucks. You get a lot for your money, but the quality isn't the greatest. The older lady that I'm guessing who owns this place was very rude and said, "you people always throwing stuff away in my store!" If you want quick Chinese food, stop on by. The food is similar to what you would see on a normal Chinese buffet. You won't be "blown away", but you also won't be disappointed. The prices are fair, the place is clean, and the people are friendly. At times, during the summer, the inside gets hot because the AC system needs help. But overall this is a good place to eat. I would recommend to my friends, and I eat there at least once to twice a month. The ownership has been the same for as long as I can remember, and he is a friendly guy. Went to your place of business last night to order fried rice broccoli one entree did not receive that received a small individual box when I asked the girl what was that she then said it's what you ordered and I said no I did not order that another girl walked up to the window and said you ordered the number 9 I said no I did not order it the number 9 I said I ordered fried rice beef and broccoli 1 entree because they were no name tags I cannot give you the name of the girl w/ black shirt black pants in her hair was colored red she was very rude she said well I didn't do it and then went on say what do you want and I said fried rice beef and broccoli with two pieces of the chicken sticks that they normally give you if you do not get the egg roll she shuts the window, she comes back opens the window back up hands me the bag I handed her my debit card this person is not at all friendly nor pleasant did not get what I asked for when I got home and opened up the box it was full of hard burned chopped chicken pieces that I did not order and they ended up charging me for two entree instead of one I was not satisfied with this I will be contacting the manager did not order rudeness or attitude if she is not happy with her job perhaps she needs find a new job it will reflect on the business and owners read more

We have been eating here for years when the craving for Chinese hits, it is what is close to the house. I give 5 stars on their prices, very reasonable. Even we get take out burgers nearby, always go to China One and get a large french fry, for $3.00 it's enough for 4 people. I'll give them 5 stars on their portions, 1 plate is enough for 2 meals. Everything is generally fairly fresh. I love the Orange Beef but sadly the last few times I have gone, they didn't have it. Tonight I ordered Lo Mien with Teriyaki Chicken and I was highly disappointed. The Lo Mien was bland, did someone forget to add salt to the noodles when cooking them? The chicken tasted like it was old, yesterdays batch, it barely had the flavor of Teriyaki. It was like chewing shoe leather. On tonight's meal I would give 1 stars. However they get 2 stars on the egg rolls. Now the place is always clean, the counter staff is always nice and friendly. For that I would give 5 stars. So overall I am giving 4 stars. read more

This place is always really clean, and offers huge portions for a really good price (2 choices plus rice or lo mein for $6.10). The food always looks and tastes fresh and the service is friendly. when i have had a long week at work, i usually would have enjoyed the chinese food that my family, friends and myself have purchased at this place. on the 2 occasions that i have sent my son to get my order, it has been wrong and they tried to blame my son. well, this time i sent a note for the order i wanted, still wrong, a new girl was there when i took the order back, again they stated my order was what i ordered. i asked do i need to drive home and get the note, so they gave me my order but still charged me the separate prices, because she did not do it as a plate. why in the hell would i pay $9.46 for a $6.---- something plate. i will be telling all of my family and friends that i have recommended to your establishment to never return and the manager kelly is a very rude person. i dont spend my hard earned money to be talked to like im stupid and dont know what i ordered when i have been a customer for a long time............................poor customer service, poor quality......taking my business elsewhere, and i advice that others do the same. read more
