This Panera has a great location and staff is friendly. However, the service can be slow. The food also doesn't taste as good as the other location on Atlantic Boulevard. I do appreciate been able to study here because it doesn't get too loud.

Going through the drive through for a tea along with a bagel & cream cheese-was a breeze! They have the best of everything, bagels, baked good, soup, sandwiches and salads. I like the fact that they ask you for your membership tel oh one number, so you can receive your points and customer rewards. Great place! They're located in front of Culhane's.

Chocolate chip muffies are my fave! And the Passion Fruit Papaya Green Tea. Yum. Picked up some bagels for some fam. Tried a new pick 2 - Margherita Flatbread and Greek salad. Shared with my nephew and mom. They liked it, too. Although ... they ate it so quickly, I didn't get a picture of it! Hahahaha I guess that tells you something. Quick. Friendly. Easy. Thanks!

Super friendly staff! Nice clean place. I had the breakfast sandwich and it was super good. Overall a good place to sit down and surf the internet and food is good. Been here a few times and it's pretty consistent.I like the craft beverages.

Long time visitor, first time reviewer. I know, I know. About time…read more What is there to say about Sub Cultured that hasn't been said already? Everything on the menu is delicious, the staff is wonderful, and they stand up to bigotry in their own backyard. You can't get much better than that. The only drawback (if you can even consider it one) is just figuring out a good time to arrive to avoid a line. Regardless, even if there is one, the staff moves through it quickly and efficiently. As Sub Cultured is a walk-up window, there's some outside tables to sit, as well as the option of sitting in your car for that car-hop action. Otherwise, you're so close to the beach and parks that taking your sandwiches for a picnic isn't a bad idea either. If you can't find parking immediately at Sub Cultured, there's a little shopping center just next door since there doesn't seem to be much for street parking outside of their handful of spots. All of that said, I'm a transplant to Jacksonville via the Navy since 2004. One of the biggest cravings that I have from back home is a real authentic sausage, pepper, and onion grinder. I can't even begin to describe to y'all how great Sub Cultured's is with that spicy Italian sausage and perfectly cooked peppers and onions. Add a little spicy brown mustard and you're all set.

The sandwiches were really good, and the French fries were delicious as well…read more Unfortunately, the Chicken Caesar Salad was a bit disappointing. The chicken was very dry, although the vegetables were fresh, so I wish the chicken had been better prepared. One more thing I noticed was the parking situation. I felt the parking lot is located in a somewhat dangerous spot. While we were waiting for our food, we saw a car backing out from in front of the restaurant and stopping a vehicle that was coming down the street. We actually It seems like the visibility is limited in that area, so drivers need to be extra careful.

Just an awesome restaurant from start to finish! Can't believe it's taken two and a half years of…read morebeing back in JAX to get here! I was a little incredulous that a former Sailor could run an Asian restaurant with such awesome ramen! Well, now I believe everything I heard. As a former sailor, upon entry I immediately fell in love with the Navy decor, pictures, and even the tables in the dining area had the seals of ships and other commands past and present on the table top art that gave a tremendous nostalgic feel to an old sea warrior like me! OK, I was a Chaps - I gave spiritual support to those warriors. Nevertheless, the ramen bowls here are a work of artistic beauty! I felt like I needed to stare at my meal for an hour before daring to touch it! On this day, we had the Bayou Ramen and the Traditional Ramen. The Bayou Ramen has a real Cajun spicing to it - unmistakable in every way. It has some heat to it, but not heavy - I'd say it was just about right for my taste. The shrimp and sausage in it were perfectly prepped - I could have taken some home but didn't - just couldn't stop eating this! It also included carrots, corn, a seasoned egg, scallions, ramen noodles in chicken bayou broth. If you like ramen of a Cajun variety, you'll love this! The traditional ramen bowl was pretty basic. You could have a choice of broth, but the basic version has little to no heat factor. It comes with roast pork, bok choy, carrots, corn, seasoned eggs, scallions, ramen noodles. I had the leftovers of this ramen bowl the next day and it was outstanding too! In addition, when you come here, you MUST get the fried chicken! It's among the best I've ever tasted. It's definitely bested KFC in my book! Anyone who wants to try a solid ramen restaurant which classic offerings and some creative versions of ramen, must visit Hangar Bay! I will add that the service we received as terrific! For a little while, I felt like I was eating on the mess deck again! I'll surely be back! Recommend: VERY HIGH!

This is the traditional ramen bowl. I had some and it was awesome! Just be aware you'll need to add hot sauce to it.

The flavors were nice and everything was prepared well. However, and this may be just my opinion but, if you're going to call your food truck "The Fried Egg" perhaps eggs should be a part of the make up of most of you menu items. Given the current menu options I think a better name for this truck would be "The Fried Egg is a $1 add-on option." I mentioned to the young lady taking my order that it surprised me that, given the name of the truck, I would have to pay an up charge for an egg. She relayed my sentiments to the cook, who may have been the manager or owner. Nevertheless, I ordered the Classic Smash Burger and did ask for the fried egg add-on. The food was prepared really quickly and the burger looked perfect. However, the young lady informed me that unfortunately they only had 4 eggs left and that they all fell and broke on the floor before my burger was ready. So she handed me a $1 bill as a refund. Obviously disappointed (and skeptical of the story) I accepted the refund and went on my way. The short of it is that while I was eggstremly disappointed by the lack of eggs, the burger was quite good and the fries were wonderful. I would have given this experience 4 stars, I can overlook the name thing, but not being able to have any eggs from The Fried Egg food truck left me somewhat disappointed.
