For as much as I don't like paying their outlandish prices, I find myself continuing to come back for more of those Tomato Mozzarella Paninis. They unfortunately ran out of ciabatta bread the other day and I had to choose bread of another variety. When I asked what my options were, they rattled off about 100 choices. (I should have known better with it being a bread place and all.) I ended up picking one at random and it just wasn't the same. The service is better some days than others. I really do like Panera Bread company. The food is tasty, and it seems that they try to offer many healthy options on the menu. Their coffee is quite good. The fact that I get to choose from several flavor options, and that there's free refills on regular coffee and ice teas when dining in, is a plus.The service here is attentive and quick, and always seems friendly. The only issue I have here is the wi-fi. I don't know if it's solely this location, or if other Paneras have the same problem, as I only come to the Cranberry location since it's close to home. The wi-fi has a limit of 30 minutes during peak hours (11:30-1:30, I think). I understand this. They need to turn tables over for guests paying for meals and dining in, as opposed to people just sitting here, taking up space and free wi-fi, while drinking limitless coffee. However, my computer always has an issue connecting in the first place, and then disconnects often afterwards. It's not my computer, because it's done this with EVERY computer that I've ever brought in. It doesn't seem to matter what time I log in at either, when I have this issue. It's not too big of a deal to me, but I can see how it would be annoying to anyone doing actual work on their laptop (and not just using it to yelp and shop on amazon.com). We did rapid-pickup and it was set to be ready at 4. it took over 20 minutes past 4 to be ready. on top of that, there were hooligans in the restaurant eating area that were being very obnoxious. if you're doing pickup here be ready to wait over a half hour past pickup time for your food! read more

Tried to order dinner on the self ordering kiosk and kept finding they were out of certain ingredients so it added time to search for what they had. Then the card reader would not read any of the 5 cards I tried in it, When we asked for help they said "we've been having trouble with that and we are changing systems". I ordered online delivery at this location, and I was given a moldy apple. I called the Panera to nicely inform management, and the women I spoke to did not even apologize. She simply told me that she would "check the apples". I would have expected better customer service for delivering food that I was unable to eat. This Panera in Cranberry is much cleaner and overall better space than the Wexford location. It is centrally located right in the middle of shopping and movie theaters. There is plenty of parking! They prepare your food in a timely fashion and he staff I encountered today was very friendly. Of course this is a place for a quick bite to eat, however I would have to say 15$ for tomato soup and grilled cheese use a little outrageous! Have eaten here at least a dozen times, partly due to meetings attended being held at this location. It has been a 50-50 roll of the dice on whether the person behind the register taking orders, or the person at the pickup counter will be rude or nice. There is no consistency with the service recieved. The food is all tasty and fresh, satisfactory in flavor. But one of the other aggrivating factors in eating here is the soup. All varieties are delicious BUT take note: the generous portion - FULL to the cup, bowl or bread bowl brim you see pictures of in ANY of Panera's advertising and restaurant is NOT representative of what amount is ACTUALLY SERVED!!! This is false advertising at it's finest. Skimpy half full cups and bowls. The one time I courteously brought it to the attention of those at the pickup counter who ladled the serving into the bowl, a manager quickly and rudely approached me. The answer was clipped and corporate. They are only allowed to serve one level small ladle to the cup and to the "line" which is indented inside the cup/bowl. Bread bowl same thing - you pay more, and though the "cut-out" made to hold the soup is deep, it is served half full. It is such a simple gesture and good practice to give the public what is representative in pictured product for portion. With all the good charitiable causes this restaurant chain supports, one would think they would and could be more supportive of those who frequent & provide needed revenue! C'mon Panera! Stop skimping and dish up these same consumers their fair share of soup!!! read more

I actually like Panera's baked goods but their food is expensive for the product and the delivery from this location is horrible. Twice I've waiting over 30 minutes past the delivery time window for the food to arrive, luke-warm to cold, neither time was the order 100% right either. Management at the site didn't care the first time so I spoke with corporate the second time. They simply pass the message on to the site -- surprise, surprise, they didn't care enough to contact me. Ok, good things first - Yummy food, even yummier pastries! They have a fireplace. Big bonus in my mind since I like to stay and read after I'm done eating. This location's outdoor seating is under cover on a little patio and there are plenty of tables. Down sides - parking is atrocious, prices are high, even their salads are fattening, and their employees are mostly young kids who don't seem to care about actually working. This is a composite review based on multiple years' worth of patronage. Due to that, I'll write this review a little differently. Bad points: 1. The staff is relatively inconsistent in temperament. 2. The hot foods are guaranteed to come out cold. Religiously. Every time. 3. Soups never reach above 1/2 of a bowl's available capacity (bread or ceramic bowl) 4. Multiple counters inside and lack of signage make both traffic management and ordering a royal pain. 5. Poor temperature control in this particular location. 6. Bathrooms are disgusting. Only one step up from a poison ivy situation. Also, there's only one toilet in the men's room. Good points: 1. This was the second sandwich I purchased in the last six months and I have to say the portion size seems to be shrinking . Considering the price I think they have nerve. Cheese on my sandwich was old and hard around the edges and when I opened the sandwich to look at the inside, the paper was still on the cheese. Salad was old and slimy and turning pink on the edges. The food here is amazing although pricy the iconic flavors make up for it. The food is all natural and a healthier than most places.
