One can't visit Pittsburgh without a stop at Primanti's! We stopped here for lunch on our way out of town to meet some friends. The place wasn't super busy, but a lively crowd was at the bar watching some of the games at the time. We were seated promptly and brought our drinks quickly. This is my only complaint: my water tasted really weird. Everything else was great. I ordered the capicola and cheese sandwich, which if you don't know, came with the traditional slaw, tomato, and fries. While I would normally balk at fries on a sandwich, the way it's done at Primanti's is perfect. My sandwich was so so good and filled me to the brim. I wish I could buy that vinegar slaw in the store, as it brings so much flavor to the dish. If you're in the area and need a nice, authentically Pittsburgh place to eat and watch some sports, look no further than here.

Wings and sandwich. The buffalo hot wings are amazing.

Have been to the stores they have in Florida many times. The Pittsburgh area stores have a wider range menu. The turkey club was sandwich was good but the wings blew me away. It's an institution.

Stopped in for a late night bite. Cool spot and friendly service. It's definitely a spot to hit if you're passing through or visiting. The MUST DO is the Capicola & Cheese sandwich. Easily, one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. Upon my first bite; my taste buds lit up - it's awesome!

The $1.99 Slice That Made Me Wish It Was Happy Hour Stopped in for the legendary $1.99 slice because, let's be honest, I love a good pizza deal like a raccoon loves an unattended trash can. The slice? It was... fine. Not bad. Not great. Just kind of existed. Like a pizza that showed up to work but wasn't really trying to impress anyone. I added a topping for an extra buck and, honestly, I think I paid $1.00 for 12 cents worth of pepperoni and 88 cents of regret. That said, service was great, and lunch was fast--so no complaints there. Everyone was friendly, and my food hit the table quicker than I could Google "Is $1.99 pizza too good to be true?" But here's the real truth: I didn't want a slice--I wanted the whole pie. I wanted the full Primanti Bros. experience: a sandwich the size of a small pillow, fries thrown directly into it like culinary chaos, and maybe a beer (or three) to remind me why carbs are my best friend. So next time, I'm skipping the solo slice and coming back during happy hour--when the adult beverages are flowing, and the pizza (hopefully) comes with a little more passion.

We order take out curbside from Primanti Bros app once every couple months. We love the capicola and cheese sandwich, and the big fish sandwich. Sometimes I get an extra side of coleslaw, which is only like a dollar and a quarter to add to my sandwich. I also love their white pizzas! They have a great Happy Hour too. Service is usually quick.

A Pittsburgh staple. What more can be said? Great happy hours, massive sandwiches and overall a favorite of mine. There is a bean burger too so it offers veggie options. I miss having it around, it's a good vibe and I always like to go when in Pittsburgh.

I finally had a chance to eat at Primanti Bros. Normally I'm not close enough to visit one when I am in town catching up with my family members. This time I had the chance to grab a bite to eat. The staff was friendly, the restaurant was clean, ample seating throughout. I ordered the 1/2 pound cheeseburger with cheddar cheese and a side of fries with a Coca-Cola. The meal was good. Parking is available in the private parking lot. Cash/Credit/Debit are accepted here.

    - Vibes: 5/5 (Pittsburgh ambiance, sporty decor, TVs) - Crowd: 4/5 (surprisingly empty on a Friday night) - Menu: 5/5 (TONS of sandwich options + pizza, salad and others - Value for price: 5/5 (legendary.) - Parking: 4/5 (quite crowded) There's a reason primanti's is the #1 tourist attraction I was recommended when visiting Pittsburgh. If you want a TALL sandwich, this is the place to go. Ambiance wise, they have a nice casual sports bar type of attitude at this location. Lots of baseball playing, people sipping at the bar, etc. The servers were very friendly and had great recommendations, and all 5 of our table's sandwiches came out within 20 minutes. Very good atmosphere. We tried the New Yorker and the Joe, Dick and Stanley "Tall boys" (more meat). Both oozing with cheese and meat, and indeed lived up to the height of their name. There are fries in the sandwich by the way...and you'd better cut this in half because these are FILLING. If you're visiting town, definitely come see the hype.

Great location. Happy hour specials, daily. Lovely Pittsburgh (lots of sports) decor throughout the well-maintained space with lots of TVs. I had their reuben which was good. I would love to return to try some of their other items. Bar area, tables/booths and some covered outdoor (sun room-ish) area. Friendly and efficient staff.

New Yorker with egg and bacon

I had the New York with added bacon and egg that was ridiculous delicious! Our waitress Christina was great keeping our drinks full and checking on us. The restaurant was clean and the bathrooms were mid. Overall great experience!

These guys are legends! Each and every store of theirs serves the perfect bite to fill your tummy and your heart up. We went there after a long day of driving and order the cajun chicken sandwich with coleslaw, tomatoes and obviously FRIES! We ordered to go so we waited till they got our food ready. This restaurant was on the other side of the spectrum if you compare it to their original store in Pittsburgh downtown. This had more of a sports bar vibe with many tv screens and ample amount seating. We found two balloons sitting around, and my wife wanted one so the server was kind enough to let us have one. Our food came out in about 10 minutes and we were on our way to dig in super fast. The sandwich was hot and delicious when we got back. The bread was nice and toasty, fries were crispy, coleslaw was nice and juicy and the chicken tasted perfect with the cajun seasoning. You can never go wrong with Primanti and are always assured of a filling satisfying meal!

This restaurant has a lot of chains, telling you just how popular and loved it is. This one was also big and spacious, with both dining and bar seating available. We placed our order at the counter right at front and waited some 10-15 mins for our order to arrive. It was my first time trying, and sandwich has so much going on, but it still tasted so good. The chicken was seasoned very well and didn't taste bland at all. The sandwich had enough crunch greens and some slightly soggy fries make it a complete meal. I really liked it and would love to try the other items on their menu.

We started with the spinach and artichoke dip and mozzarella sticks as appetizers with a runny dip and $12 for 6 mozz sticks that were straight from freezer to fryer. They indicate that the marinara is homemade, but these clearly were not. I ordered garlic parmesan wings with ranch, and noticeably their was no garlic or parmesan as far as I could tell. It was just butter. The wings were cooked fine, but I can't believe they would serve a product like this. And I've said it before, but I'll say it again - their homemade ranch is horrible. It's supposed to be "garlic" ranch, but they might as well call it sugar ranch. I can't think of any other scenario where I wouldn't eat ranch, so this is an incredible bar to suppass. The best item I tried was my son's pizza from the kid's menu, which is saying something.

I explained she was a service dog, but was told it didn't matter. The bar is open to the public, and requiring us to sit outside in 90-degree weather was unreasonable. I hope management ensures their staff understands ADA compliance. No one should feel unwelcome because of a service animal.

Am looking forward to being back! My server was Tolia (sorry if I'm misspelling/misremembering) and she did an AMAZING job. She was super friendly, made awesome menu recommendations and was a delight to chat to. She recommended I start with the char grilled octopus and this was delicious. It came with capers and a grilled lemon and olive oil and was beautifully presented. The potion was easily finished by just me, so if you have more than 2 people I'd recommend getting more than 1 order of these. It's so delicious. I was then picking between the pastitsio and the moussaka. I was told they both have a strong nutmeg flavor which was not a problem for me. I decided on the moussaka and it was so delicious. It did have a strong nutmeg flavor but not in an overwhelming way. It came with a bechamel sauce on top and layers of eggplant with ground beef tomato and potato. It sort of reminded me of a shepherds pie if you're not as familiar with Greek food. The portion was HUGE - could easily split between 2. I ate almost half of it but couldn't eat the rest although I wish I could've. It was so good. The cocktail I ordered was a nectar spritz (something with "nectar" in the title at least) and genuinely was one of the best cocktails I've had. Definitely beat every other one I had in Pittsburgh this week by FAR. So yummy. I was so impressed with every aspect of my dining experience and would definitely be back!

Its a decent serving size for an appetizer. I enjoyed it. The nachos were surprisingly tasty. When they came out I was unsure about them because any other time I've ever ordered a loaded type nacho they're, how do I explain it, more colorful I guess. Usually its like bacon and American cheese, guac, pico, etc., but these were just shades of white and green. I wish I could've finished them but the portion was quite a bit for 1 person. My only gripe would be the chicken. It reminded me of the meat you get in a launchable. I think I would rather prefer a crispy diced chicken. But that's just me. The other 2 didn't have any complaints about the Rival Stix or the burger. The Chicken Tenders were said to not have much flavor in the breading. The person who ordered them didn't care for the breading. I was also tempted into some sort of creme brulee donut I think.
