I finally had a chance to eat at Primanti Bros. Normally I'm not close enough to visit one when I am in town catching up with my family members. This time I had the chance to grab a bite to eat. The staff was friendly, the restaurant was clean, ample seating throughout. I ordered the 1/2 pound cheeseburger with cheddar cheese and a side of fries with a Coca-Cola. The meal was good. We went there after a long day of driving and order the cajun chicken sandwich with coleslaw, tomatoes and obviously FRIES! We ordered to go so we waited till they got our food ready. This restaurant was on the other side of the spectrum if you compare it to their original store in Pittsburgh downtown. This had more of a sports bar vibe with many tv screens and ample amount seating. We found two balloons sitting around, and my wife wanted one so the server was kind enough to let us have one. Our food came out in about 10 minutes and we were on our way to dig in super fast. The sandwich was hot and delicious when we got back. The bread was nice and toasty, fries were crispy, coleslaw was nice and juicy and the chicken tasted perfect with the cajun seasoning. This restaurant has a lot of chains, telling you just how popular and loved it is. This one was also big and spacious, with both dining and bar seating available. We placed our order at the counter right at front and waited some 10-15 mins for our order to arrive. It was my first time trying, and sandwich has so much going on, but it still tasted so good. The chicken was seasoned very well and didn't taste bland at all. The sandwich had enough crunch greens and some slightly soggy fries make it a complete meal. How are you a Pittsburgh restaurant but you get rid of the fried bologna sandwich? It is a staple.

We waited at least 35 -40 minutes for our meal on a Tuesday evening. We finally asked to talk to a manager & she said our order had just been submitted to the kitchen 10 minutes earlier, which would have been at least 20 - 25 minutes after we ordered with the server. The manager saw no issue with that. She just said the server was busy and we were told "this is not a fast food restaurant." Great Pittsburgh Iconic Restaurant. Cranberry Township has a nice vibe. The decor is Yinzer and Pittsburgese with a nice added local sports areas and schools recognized. The staff is hard working, friendly, and welcoming. If you are new to their concept and sandwiches, just order the fries, tomatoes and cole salw on the side-top your sandwich your way or eat separately. My husband and I just ordered take out from the Cranberry location. We typically enjoy Primanti's. This time was the WORST food experience we've ever had at a Primanti's. We ordered 12 Bone-in Wings - Garlic Parm, 12 Bone-in Wings - XX Hot, and Primanti Size French Fries with cheese on the side. Let's start with the fries. These cost twice as much as the regular order. However, there is the SAME amount of fries. The only difference is they put them into a pizza size box and spread them out. Totally not worth the extra 5 bucks to get my fries in a pizza box. Then there are the wings. They are breaded (which is not stated ANYWHERE on the menu) so when they are cooked and then topped with whatever flavoring you choose, they are complete MUSH. Horrible. Worst wings I've EVER had in my whole life! There is zero flavor also. The garlic parm doesn't taste like garlic OR parm. And the XX Hot is about the same as using plain old Franks Red Hot sauce. This is absolutely the WORST experience I've had at any Primanti's and the worst wings I've ever eaten in my life. read more

We ordered: * Crispy Zucchini Planks ($7.59) * Joe, Dick, and Stanley ($10.49) * New Yorker ($11.29) The tall boy sandwich portion are huge and super filling. We loved the cold cuts and thick slices of tomatoes paired with their slaw (I don't like coleslaw but their slaw was so good). We definitely wished we ordered one tall boy and one almost famous sandwich instead of two tall boys since the fries in the sandwich aren't the greatest but they were still great to share. The zucchini planks were delicious though, you have to order them. They were still hot and crispy by the time we returned to our hotel. Primanti was an incredibly satisfying dinner for two especially after a long day of driving. I decided to try the local sandwich heroes ,why not since this is my first time. So I ordered the famous PB Rueben and went all in with on top. Sandwich was stacked , pastrami, fries, slaw, onion, cheese , egg, and its secret sauce . It can feed a hungry beast. All I can say is that the sandwich lives to its expectation, it was so good. I'm not sure it there is new management or what the case is but they really stepped up their game. Incredibly slow service so I wouldn't recommend for a quick lunch break. They are doing their part to keep a clean properly distanced environment during this pandemic. I don't know if the kitchen or slow waitress were to blame, but our ap arrived cold and only minutes before our meals.
