If I could give this place 0 stars I would but the computer made me choose something. I have been a customer for over a year a part of their sip club etc. First, I had a piece of blonde hair in my salad and they tried to fix the issue. Then they kept giving my pork on my sandwich which I am not only allergic to but it is also against my religious beliefs. I am a repeat customer and have ordered the same thing for months only to have bitten into and eaten the sandwich half way through before I realized that they messed up my order again! I did not catch it in time because Im taking meds because I had shoulder surgery which is why I have had to order takeout for the past two months. They didn't respond to my complaint until 2 weeks later and then asked me to send a picture after they already gave me credit and apologized. Their negligence has caused me added sickness because I haven't had pork in years!!! The customer care risk control person Cody Tucker accused me of not having proof and dismissed my case but would not go back to the store and request camera footage that morning. I am so disgusted that I used my money with a company that on a regular basis, that would treat their customers like this! I would not recommend this company at all!!!!! Also, his manager who didn't even provide his name told me he would not be helping me at all either. My advice take pictures or it never happened. I usually get the corn chowder but they didn't have it. So i got chili and this was by far my least favorite thing i have eaten in a long time. It looks like dog food and taste is like cheap can chili. I went and got a new soup and the employees response was a-lot of people complain about that chili. Panera Bread overcharged my credit card dozens of times (which was stored on their website) and they still haven't refunded my money. Here's how their scheme works. If you try to order online but their server is too busy to complete the order, they charge your stored credit card anyhow. When I could not place an order online, I would go inside to use the kiosk to order and pay. Since they also charged my Visa for the smart phone order that I never did submit due to their busy server, I thus was charged twice for one order dozens of times. My Visa bill was about 1k per month, mostly from Panera charges, many of which I didn't even make. In fact, they charged me for 2 meals recently on a day that I was never there and in another State. They still haven't reversed the charges. Customer Care is very snotty about it. I decided to stop eating at this criminal enterprise. read more

I have ordered dinner through Panera Bread in Elk River, MN 3 separate times in the last week. I ordered a pastry with each order and it was missing in EVERY order that I placed. I was charged for this pastry but did not receive it. I could understand if this happened once but this happened 3 times in 6 days. I tried calling the restaurant and the phone rang over and over before eventually hanging up on me. I tried calling them over and over for almost 2 hours. This is unacceptable. I contacted the corporate offices who sent an email response stating that they gave me something to use towards an upcoming order but there was nothing added to my account. Been going there since 2017 and always get the same who Fuji Apple Chicken. Staff always leave out an ingredient, such as the main ingredient (chicken). Because I complained about service being very poor, manager told me to never come back. That is fine with me, as we all have a choice where to spend our hard earned dollars. Was at the restaurant for dinner @ 6:30 on 9/24. Wanted in a long while in a very short line. Placed my order and was asked for my phone number. Since I wasn't told why I can only assume they need this to page me when the food was done. The responded that the number wasn't in their system, so I gave it again, with the same response. Since I was still unaware of the need I was bewildered. The clerk said she needed to get a manager. I didn't want to wait and had her delete the order. I still don't understand why they needed it. I am a regular customer, and have noticed in the past 8 months or so the egg bakes and the bear claw rolls have gotten much darker and tougher. I don't mind paying the price if the food is top notch. The egg bakes at this Panera however are way overdone!! Also, the roll I brought home was a little too crispy around the edges. I hope these are issues that can be corrected. At least once a week since the start of summer, I have stopped at Panera to get a couple bagels before I go to work. I almost always go through the drive-thru because it is very convenient. I am always met with a pleasant "Good morning!" or "How are you doing today?" Nine times out of Ten, the person at the window is Blake. I visited the drive-thru of this location on 11/16. I was charged for the more expensive water (Fiji) and received the cheap water. When asked, the server said they didn't carry Fiji water and there was only a small difference in price anyway. They deleted the Tomato Basil from my turkey sandwich and did not give me the chips. Once again, the server said I didn't get the spread because I ordered the sandwich on a bagel. I was also told the chips were not paid for because they are complementary ... then why did I not receive them. Also, the bacon was so rubbery I had to remove it from my sandwich. Expensive for a quick lunch, but very fresh ingredients and delicious meals. They also don't skimp on quality or quantity. You order an avocado BLT and it comes with an ENTIRE avocado, unlike some places that would do a spread or 2 little pieces to save a buck.
