I started with a salad (extra cheese) and breadsticks and then I ordered the entree. My current favorite is the chicken Alfredo with broccoli!! This pasta sauce is creamy and delicious! The salad and soup is always fresh and delicious as well! I love putting extra cheese on everything and freshly cracked black pepper into the soups for additional spice. The chicken & shrimp carbonara was superb and very tasty. The bread sticks were succulent and tasted warm and fresh with every bite. TRYSTEN WAS AWESOME! She was the greatest most nicest waitress I have ever met. She was very nice and super kind. I recommended if she travels to Tyson's Corner to check out the Olive Garden there. She deserves a raise. Went here for the sweet 16 birthday with a big group of people. Had two tables and two servers for out group. Haven't been to olive garden in probably a decade. The decor and setup is similar to other Olive Gardens, clean and modern. We ordered a whole lot of food. Some of the things we ordered included the spinach artichoke dip, fried mozzarella for appetizers. Some of the entrees we ordered included shrimp scampi, herb grilled salmon, chicken tortellini alfredo and chicken fettucine among other. Also tried the strawberry cream cake and chocolate cake for dessert. The food came out quickly and was decent. Nothing amazing. This is not a high end Italian eatery but everything was hot, well made and tasted just fine. The scampi and salmon were particularly tastier than the other entrees. But again, everything was average and fine for a weeknight dinner. The desserts were good too and enjoyable. The service was good, they got slammed so our server apologized and I appreciate that. If you are looking for American Italian food in a clean environment with reasonable prices, Olive Garden might be for you. read more

3 pm on a Monday, service was sparse, breadsticks and salad were tasty, however the Steak Gorgonzola was less flavorful than I remembered. I haven't had one since they put it back on the menu. Something was different, as all I could really taste was the cheese. I was there using a gift card that I was given as a replacement for some bad ravioli "to go" last time I stopped here. This location used to be premier, but now the last 2 times I visited it was certainly sub-par. This is one of the better Olive Gardens I've been to. Wait times are usually pretty short and staff is always friendly. The dining aread is huge with a large assortment of tables and booths to accommodate any size party. The bar area is ssmall, but creats a more intimate feel. absolutely horrible delivery experience. asked for extra sauce on my pasta as i was getting it delivered, and put this in the "request" tab. the photo attached is how it arrived. there is not even enough sauce for the "normal" amount. there's white pasta after it all being mixed in. i called the location to ask if i was asking for sauce incorrectly and was told that i did it correct. cool. so i fill out the complaint form and receive a reply from their GM Daniel. Our waitress came she was attentive, cheerful, interacting with all of us & she was so amazing. She did not mess 1 thing up & we as a group where all over with ordering & indecisive. At the end we where walking out and I just had to know her name so I stopped and asked another waitress and then she came around the corner. When I mentioned I have a gluten allergy she gave me the dressing packets since croutons sometimes get in their dressing. For soup, I got the Zuppa Toscana and it was delicious! I've been a big fan of Olive Garden for years, but my experience today at the Maple Grove location was by far the worst I've ever had. Our server, Ricardo H., was incredibly rude. He interrupted me while I was ordering, and after my 3.5-year-old took a small bite of soup (which came with the entrée), Ricardo told me I would have to pay extra for more soup--despite the fact that Olive Garden advertises unlimited soup and salad. After that, he completely ignored our table. We had tired, sleepy kids, and I had to call for service multiple times before he finally returned. This is unacceptable. It was the worst service I've ever encountered at an Olive Garden. As a brand, you need to take a hard look at the staff you're hiring. Olive Garden is a great place to go to for multiple reasons. You can get a ton of food for a decent price, there is something there for everyone, they have a safe options and more adventurous options, a fun place to go with friends or family, and the list could go on. This location in Maple Grove has all of these offerings and much much more. We have ate here in person a few times but done the majority for take out. Either way there are benefits for both! Location/Store: This Olive Garden is located on Main Street of Maple Grove tucked away off the road in its own section. It is very easy to get to and has its own parking which makes visiting this location not a hassle. From the outside of the restaurant there are colorful lights, gorgeous stone work, and is themed in a way that makes you know it's Italian food but not in a explosion to your face way. The restaurant looks nice and clean from the outside and makes you feel invited in through the huge front doors and tall archways. Once inside there are a ton of chairs and tables and different styled rooms. All keep within the central theme of it being an Italian restaurant but it does make multiple visits more fun due to being put into different rooms. I haven't really had the chance to walk around it much and the 2 times we have are here we have been in the same section. We were placed in the room to the left of the grand room and it is a tiny room but wasn't too cramped from table to table. We haven't been back since we have 2 kids and there wasn't a lot of room for our stroller and side chair. So if you are bring little ones that can't sit in chairs you might be in for an awkward sitting arrangement. Food: Now everyone knows about Olive Gardens bread sticks, soups, and salads. It's literally the main reason probably anyone goes. For us those items have always been delicious and we can find no fault in them at all, so I won't touch on them. If you have had those bread sticks you know how good they are! Now in our multiple trips we have gotten to try a good number of items on the menu. I will run through the best ones I have personally liked. Calamari - This is an appetizer from the menu that I order everytime we go here. They are lightly breaded, crunchy, not too rubbery on the inside, and have that perfect calamari taste you are looking for that's hard to find in MN. The spicy ranch they come with is also a perfect companion to your dish! Fried Mozzarella - These just taste like fancy thick mozzarella sticks but they do really hit the spot. They can get heavy since it's fried cheese but what did you expect. They are delicious nonetheless! Chicken Alfredo - This is probably my favorite entree on the menu. The chicken was grilled perfectly and chopped up in a easy to eat way. The alfredo was creamy and packed with flavor. The noodles were soft and pulled the whole meal together. There was not a bite from this entree that wasn't delicious! Overall: This is a great place to get some good food for a good price that your whole party will enjoy. The food when you dine in is just has fresh as the food when you dine out so you can't go wrong either way. Everything we have tried here has been devious so you really can't go wrong. The only downside is that you might not get a great table if you dine inside. Other than that you should totally check this Olive Garden out! read more

I usually have lunch at Olive Garden and I still really like their soup, salad and breadsticks. I have noticed some cost savings in their recipes, like everyone in the restaurant business since COVID. However, tonight I had dinner here. Not the best experience I've had. I ordered a make your own pasta since it was the only way to get my favorite: Italian sausage. If that was Italian sausage, I'll eat my hat. Ordered lunch curbside pickup. Order was easily placed online, was ready within 25 minutes, order received was accurate, Togo plastic ware was sturdy and soups nicely wrapped. Warning: Food Allergy issue. The one star is NOT for this location in particular, but for the chain as a whole, this just happened to be the location I used to patronize and no longer can. I don't know who needs to read this before going, I wish I could post it on every Olive Garden location page. Olive Garden in January 2023 added SESAME flour to the BREADSTICKS. I only know this bc I follow a sesame allergy Facebook group for news on my life-threatening sesame allergy. Otherwise, I would have unknowingly come here again, enjoyed countless breadsticks, like I have many times in the past, but this time dropped dead. Olive Garden corporate, you're monstrous for ambushing your sesame allergic customers by adding a previously not present allergen to Formerly safe recipes. It has been a very long while since I have visited an Olive Garden. And it was a gift card from Christmas that brought me back. For any doubters out there don't discount this place. First off we were warmly greeted and immediately seated. The whole place felt impeccably clean. Our server Kim K was exceptional. (I'll say that again later). Our drink orders were timely and yummy. Olive Garden is one of my personal favorite pasta places. Their sauces are to die for, breadsticks, soup, and of course salad. You can't go wrong with any of the options! I personally love the buy one take one. It's perfect for having a meal for the next day. I did take out and was sadden upon ordering requested 'extra break sticks'. We received a total of 4. When my order was for 3 people I was sadden that we could only have one each. I was hoping we'd get enough so we could have two. Overall good came out warm and when expected. Our server was a little slow but maybe he's still learning. Breadsticks and salad could've came a little faster as it was gone within 2 minutes with all 6 of us eating the one bowl they gave us at a time alone with the one thing of breadsticks.
