I prefer this place over the one near Walmart - not for any significant reasons. The one by Walmart is spacier, but also louder and harder to study. The food is a tad overpriced, but I shell it out ONLY bc their mac & cheese is superb! Their carrot cake is also very delicious. Wayyy more delicious than their cupcakes - which is dry and a little bland for the steep price. My last complaint is that the utensils here are REALLLY yucky. One time I had to trade in my fork 3 times to get a decently clean looking one; the girl behind the counter said that most of their utensils look like that so I shouldn't bother asking for a replacement. The service was slow. Our in-person order was ready before our online order, which was placed about five minutes earlier. It was before 2pm on Monday. This location does not have the display to show when the order is ready nor did I see the tablets to order in restaurant. There were customers eating but it wasn't too busy. All I can say is HOLY COW. I lied, I will say alot more than the cow thing FIRST of all. In the sandwich hall getting ready to order and asked about the bread selection. Girl LAUGHED at me and SPIT in my open mouth!! Impressive. She says they are LOW ON BREAD SUPPLY??? How does the sandwich cafeteria not get enough bread??? One of the worst Paneras when it comes to pickup orders. Every time I order, something is missing and I have to go back in. Curbside is worse because the "I'm here" links in the emails, texts, and app always give you errors, and they never pick up the phone when calling the number on the sign. Wherever the links do work, they just never come out and I have to go in anyway. I don't know if Panera's system in general is messed up or just this store's, but the convenience they offer is very inconvenient. read more

While just after 4 pm on a Saturday afternoon is probably not prime time for Panera, my experience today left a lot to be desired. The order taker screwed things up badly. My wife ordered a U Pick 2. The caprese 1/2 sandwich and the summer strawberry salad. My order was for a full Cuban sandwich. The order was entered. We paid using 2 Panera gift cards to cover everything and were given a pager to let us know when it was ready. As it was a to go order when the pager buzzed I went to the pick up area. I took the only order there and the prep worker called out "have a nice day." We left but at home found that there was no full Cuban sandwich in the bag. My wife called and was told to come back to pick up the sandwich. The worker at the drive through window wanted to see a receipt, but we'd never been given one. Again we drive home and sit down to eat only to discover that my wife's 1/2 caprese was a half Cuban. The A team was not on duty today & it's obvious that nonsense of the managers on duty we keeping tabs on the restaurant. Really disappointing. This store has a bunch of grumpy, lazy people working that lack any sense of urgency or hustle. First time going to this location and we will not be back. We went in between the lunch and dinner crowd and it still took a ridiculous amount of time to order and make a simple smoothie. You could tell the manager set the tone for the crew and it was not a good tone. Not one smile, not one polite word exchanged in conversation with me or amongst the coworkers. Once working in the food service industry I was taught to leave your personal business at the door and walk in with a smile on your face no matter what. i used to count on Panera for really good and fresh food. This location has consistently disappointed. Stopped there the other day and the turkey/avocado sandwich was okay but the Greek salad was not good. It consisted of old, wilted lettuce that tasted terrible and had very few olives. All I wanted was a salad. The Greek salad picture looked great! It was full of chick peas olives, tomatoes, onion, feta, other veggies. What I got was Romain lettuce, two very small olives, a large pickled pepper, one cherry tomato, and I think maybe there was a sliver of onion. No breakfast after 11 am on a Saturday. Surely in this day and age it isn't too hard to toast a bagel and make breakfast sandwiches later on weekends at least. So disappointed in the customer service here! I tried using my Panera rewards and something was wrong with the settings apparently. I attempted to explain I had a certain amount off due to a reward saved and an extra reward coming following this purchase. The machine denied my rewards. After the transaction, I showed the associate my rewards due and asked for the credit. She literally shrugged her shoulders and walked away. So I was out the savings and the next reward. Worst experience ever ! Picked up the to-go order and noticed they misplaced some of my ordered items while I was in parking lot. When try to go inside to change it, they locked the door already as it was store closing time. A Joke! The menu is very limited, portions too small and prices are high. "Clean food" does not necessarily mean low calorie or even healthy! Take a look at the mac and cheese, for example. 950 calories and 61 grams of fat per serving plus a whopping 2450mg of sodium when the limit is recommended to be no more than 2300mg a day. Are you kidding me??? And there are many more examples too..., look for yourself on the website. Mickey D's, Wendy's and Subway have healthier options available at lower prices. I love panera bread and have been to many of them throughout the states and in erie (all 3). I ordered the soutbwest chicken tortilla soup to go and i literally live 5 minutes away. When i got home my soup was ice cold. That means they didn't warm it up, it wasnt fresh. I don't know whats going on there on the weekends but its not the panera that I've grown to love. read more

Ordered online for rapid pickup and part of my order was forgotten. I called to have them credit my card and they said they couldn't partial credit and I could come in to pick it up. Went through the drive thru, ordered a bagel with cream cheese and a coffee. My total was $4.32, I gave the guy $5.35. He handed me $0.03 and I told him I gave him a 5 and he stared at me blankly. Whatever, brain fart, we all have them. I get home, open my bag, no cream cheese. There's a knife, but no cream cheese. I hope this kid makes it through high school. I often visit Panera during my business trips to areas around Pennsylvania and Ohio, so I usually hold Panera to the same standards that I see at every location. As with every chain cafe, I expect timely, professional settings and manners from the staff, but two ladies in particular made some very offensive remarks during my evening visit on Tuesday this week. I noticed they were harassing two coworkers and exhibiting extremely unprofessional behavior with profane remarks in response to two of their coworkers. I did not get the young lady's name, because she walked away rather quickly, but I know for a fact that one of the women harassing her was named Maria, and I couldn't read the other lady's name, but I noticed she had two blue hearts (her name was in cursive). The two ladies were dropping the "f" word noticeably loud in front of customers and exhibiting harassing behavior. I noticed that during that time, there were other people, including several small children, who also heard the feud. The French onion soup I got came out cold due to their feud. Needless to say, I believe that this exhibition of behavior will make me stay away from Panera for a while. I believe that some disciplinary action should be necessary. read more

Fantastic. I frequent this Panera in particular because of its convenient location, cleanliness, friendliness of staff, and the ability to still eat "clean" on a budget. I do not eat out frequently, but Panera tempts me on a daily basis! :) the new Thai flat bread is out of this world, as well as my signature favorite, the Fuji Apple Chicken salad. I have had very disappointing experiences here. Always lacking in quality! Most recently, I ordered Rapid Pick Up online. I got there early and food was already waiting - they weren't busy so it was obvious they made the food when I placed the order and it was left to sit out until I arrived. Got home to realize the soup was watery and very unappetizing. Took it back and learned that the entire batch was like that - in my opinion it should never have even been allowed to be served! Placed a new order and had to argue with the manager because the new order was more expensive and they weren't will to comp the difference, even though the original order was so disgusting that I had to take it all the way back. They should have been apologizing and asking what they could do to make it better and instead they argued with me and the manager was very rude. I would consider myself a very reasonable customer, and the customer service I received was beyond disappointing and unacceptable. read more
