I didn't leave hungry but I almost always take left overs. I had not eaten in a Perkins restaurant since the mid to late 1980s. I thought the chain was gone to the wind - and they are in Eastern Maryland. Apparently, is alive and well in many other areas. My skillet and pie were excellent, just on the smaller side. I had been to Erie for the weekend with a local & he suggested this restaurant to me as I do not have any super close to me. It was delicious food and friendly service. I would recommend based on those things. My friend got the eggs Benedict and I had ordered the build your own breakfast with bacon, scrambled eggs, breakfast potatoes, & a three stack of pancakes. So I recently just went out to eat her in awhile my mother worked here before and during Covid it was always packs and the food was always great she stopped working there around 2021 I went in there as were walking to the tables I noticed all the tables were sticky and disgusting then I see all the waitresses and hostess on their phone, not paying attention to anyone even tho there was only 3 tables of people at 7 o clock which is usually dinner time which tells you something like thefood was not that great then the manger Tom was sitting on his ass doin nothing while there's tables tht needed cleaning or something I work in a restaurant there's always something to clean or do etc and to top it all of it was expensive I'd say I don't know how this place is still running they need new ppl or just shut the place down read more

Placed a pick up order. I waited at the counter to be cashed out for a few minutes patiently. Savannah, an employee who was hosting/tending to pick up orders & cashing out customers. Savannah overlooks me & proceeded to cash out another customer. The nice customer proceeded to tell Savannah I was first in line. Savannah makes a remark about Perkins being busy. I simply asked, did you not see me standing there? Savannah really tried going back & forth due to an error on her part as she raised her voice at me. I also asked for my receipt and she did not give it to me & stated her job is busy then, proceeded to check out the nice customer. I grabbed my own receipt. I've been to this Perkins many times in the past and always had good food and good service, and it's always been a very laid back place to eat and it's never to busy. This being said I though it would be a perfect spot to go for dinner after graduation. I called 24hours ahead of time to make my reservation for my party of 20 left my name and number and they told me they would be able to fit us in. So fast forward to when we get there and I gave the host my name and tell them I made a reservation the night before, low and behold they gave the table to a different 20 top because they thought it was us. No biggie, irritating but they said they'd fit us in. Well their idea of fitting us in was sitting 17 of us at one table and three of us at one table by ourselves and absolutely refused to push the table into ours. After seating us and finally letting us all sit together our server took 20 min to come to the table and in the end took 45 min to get drinks and an hour to order food. It all got even better when the server never asked us how we wanted to split the check and took it upon herself to split it three ways and leave it on the table and never come back. One of the party members had to chase her through the restaurant being blatantly ignored in order to get boxes for our table. Needless to say I will not return and I recommend that if you have a large party you DO NOT come here or if you want good service at all I would hands down avoid this place read more

This just may be my Favorite. Restaurant. Ever. This probably stems from the fact that my Dad used to work at this particular location when he was younger and mastered the art of delectable pancakes. So growing up and eating his pancakes and then going to Perkins is like a nostalgic timewarp jump to the left (and then a step to the right). Nothing can compare to the Buttermilk Pancakes served up here. Not Denny's. Not Ihop. Not McDonald's cardboard Flapjacks (bleh). And its not just the pancakes, anything I could possibly be in the mood for is served up here. Burgers&Shakes, Cooked-to-Perfection Steak, Delicious Desserts (French Silk Pie all-time fav). And the really great thing about this location is that its open 24hrs and they serve breakfast all day long! read more

We went to eat the place smelled they have something wrong with the air system it was warm in there. We waited 20 minutes just to get water. It was an hour to get the food from when we got there the manager said he was putting a rush on the food people who came in a half hour after us got their food just a couple of minutes after us the pancakes were burnt I sent them back they did not come until after I ate the waitress argued with me and said that they were there within 4 minutes it was more like 14 I got the meat omelette the bacon and sausage in it were huge pieces. On The other order the avacodo was mushy the potatoes were supposed to be grilled and they were not they were boiled. It was the worst experience I have ever had at a perkins I will not be back the only reason I gave one star is because I couldn't give no stars read more

Came on a Saturday and waited for 30 minutes , not a big deal . I called in ahead of time to reserve a chicken pot pie because the 5 times before , they ran out . The chicken pot pie was flakey, but it wasn't any better than Marie's calendar . Bestie got the pumpkin pie pancake and it was hard on the inside and not battered enough . This was the second time she got it and it wasn't good. They did offer her a free muffin so that's nice ! Overall, we will be back cause it's the closest to Denny's we have around . read more

Coming late night is not a good idea. Service is very bad. Waited for so long and then never got our meals until an hour later. No one came to apologize, they just ignored the situation. By the time the food came out, everything was cold and dry. I returned every single one of them and we all left. Never again. This is the problem with chain restaurants. I rather eat in a hole in the wall type of restaurant and know that quality of services is in place. read more
