The Employees and restaurant were great. The food - not so great. In 2012, I ate at chick-fil-a on Peach Street. The buns were large, with seeds. The chicken looked and tasted like a summer BBQ. Today, 13 years later, I ate at same location. So looked forward to what I had there before. I will not eat there again. It was almost dripping in grease, not a piece like in 2012. This is my first review of a fast food restaurant. We only do fast food on road trips, so we had two fast food lunches while taking our granddaughters to Niagara Falls. Yesterday it was Wendy's, a very poor experience in many regards. Today was Chic Filet, a much better meal. The restaurant was in Erie Pa but could have been in any of their locations, since they are all identical in every way. The place was packed with lots of people in line to order. I got in line, but while there ordered through the app, and our meal was delivered in a few minutes. The efficiency of the place is spectacular, with quick service, decent food, and no errors. It's still fast food, but much superior to all of the competitors. Our only other use of fast food is breakfast at McDonald's, which is often a big disappointment. Chic Filet gets 3*, the best possible for the category. read more

Holy smokes the service is fast. Even with the drive thru line wrapped around the building and the dining room full, I literally couldn't get through a three-minute language lesson on my phone between waiting to order and get my food. The food comes out fast and hot. I will say that I really wish they had a bigger size coffee though! I stop on road trips and it's little bitty baby coffee. This place is so popular and so busy it has a 2 lane drive-thru wrapped all the way around building twice ,(with traffic cones) extended out to the street. It's right off of peach street and constantly slammed. The mobile order pick up spots were full too last time I was there. Staff are always friendly and the order is always correct. If someone asked you to name the one thing that CFA is best at you would be forgiven if you answered chicken because that's not the answer. No, what CFA is best at is not chicken. Hell, it's not even food. It's logistics. Yes indeed, these people are masters are managing leviathan lines that would cripple any other restaurant to get you your food in a reasonably timed manner with brutal efficiency. This one has a newer configuration with the double traffic coned lanes which of course the day we visited were wrapped around the store with the line extending nearly off the property. They also have ?? mobile order spots. 10? 15? 20? 500? I don't know but it's a lot and they were also packed. Between the double order points, staff with tablets taking orders, runners taking orders out to cars, expediters at the window and a staff that could focus because the dining room was closed it was unreal how fast they whipped thru everything. What matters to me is that: The order was fulfilled correctly. In less than ten minutes we were back on the road to the hotel. Everything was hot and fresh. I was looking for a place to grab a quick bite while out of town. I've heard about the hype, and I was anxious to see if this indeed lived up to the hype. I was hesitant, because every time drive by a chic fil a, it is always packed to the rim, and the drive thru is wrapped around the block. This time was no different. However, the large crew has their systems down, making what would look like an hour wait, with all the people, go by in minutes! To start if you wait in the drive thru there are staff members with tablets taking your order, and payment, cutting your wait time in half. If you want to order and dine inside, the crew is also diligently working. They are fast with cleaning the tables, taking orders and delivering your food. We were about 40th in line and we had our order taken in less than 5 minutes! Barely had time to look at the menu . The food was great. If you are on a diet, like I am they have options for those who are calorie conscious. I ordered the spicy southwest chicken salad . It was very flavorful, very filling and extremely fresh! I've been going to Chick-Fil-A for 15 years now ever since I started living in the south. I was blown away to see this restaurant chain has made it out west and up north. We stopped in here as a quick food option while visiting family. We used the drive thru like we always do, but it was pretty unorganized and chaotic at this location. Normally, we see employees tell you which car to follow behind when the two lines merge into one, but they didn't do that here this time. It definitely reflected in the quality of drive thru service as they scattered to figure out which orders went to who. The food, on the other hand, continued to live up to what we've come to expect from Chick-Fil-A. The strawberry milkshakes are some of the best in the business outside of some locally owned ice cream shops. The staff was also very friendly as usual. Overall, this was a good experience, but I hope they get their drive thru service process down better before our next visit. read more

My husband and I have stopped here a number of times on trips down to Pittsburgh. I don't really see the great appeal of the menu here, and to be honest, I was really disappointed on my last visit. This is possibly due to a lack of communication, but it made me more than a little annoyed. We arrived just after 8am on a Saturday morning. They open at 6:30 so they had plenty of time to have things up and running. When I ordered, the girl at the register said that my order (regular chicken sandwich) would take 10-15 minutes. And I immediately said no thank you then, and allowed my husband to order. I didn't want to wait 15 minutes for fast food. So my husband went on to order from the breakfast menu, and she didn't say anything about a wait to him. I assumed that the wait was because I was ordering from the lunch menu - but no explanation was given so I don't know. We ended up waiting at least 8 minutes in the store before I went outside to sit in the car, as I was hangry and annoyed. While outside, I saw at least 4 cars go through the drive through. And yet, our meal was not ready yet. At 15 mintues, I texted my husband from the car that we should just get a refund and leave. But a minute or two later he came out with the meal. And it included the chicken sandwich! (we were charged for it despite saying I didn't want it if it was going to take so long!) I decided to eat it anyways, because we'd paid for it, but really I didn't want to eat it on principle that I'd said I didn't want it. I wasn't willing to go in and make a big deal about it. There are two things here that annoyed me 1. The miscommunication (my husband said he understood what I said, so I think it was on the part of the server) 2. Fast food on steroids. This was our first time here so not sure what to expect. Stood in line to order our food. Chicken any style grilled or crispy. Even the nuggets. Once you order and you are dining in, you go to your table and they bring your food to you. Only small complaint and it was customers not the restaurant. Many 2 seated tables were empty and booths were filled with 2 people which made us sit in a 2 seat table for 3 people. But i digress and say they actually had fresh flowers on the table. You don't see that everyday in some regular restaurants. The food was fast and fresh. The chicken was moist and tender. Something you don't get in regular restaurants. Another nice thing i saw was when someone vacated their table an employee came to clean the table while another was there to sweep the floor. All i can say is great service. Maybe these fast food workers deserve the $15??? Side note bathrooms also were spotless very nice and had fresh flowers. We need this place in Buffalo, NY! read more

I would usually give a 5 out of 5 because the food and service is always amazing but there was a girl worker recording her friends at the table while I was waiting to get some sauce and NOBODY said "My Pleasure" except for the store manager. Food was great, came out super quick but get off ya damn phone and get me my sauce UPDATE: this review was a 4/5 but I woke up sick and so did my fiancé. On our ride home after eating, We noticed our throats getting really scratchy but we assumed it was the lemonade because of how acidic it is, but we both woke up sick and the worst it's probably yet to come. Sorry Chic Fil A but y'all need some new cross contamination procedures or cook your chicken thoroughly, we aren't sure which one. read more

We love every Chick-Fil-A for their quality food and outstanding service. This location is the closest to where we live in Upstate NY and when we come through the area we pick up some extra sandwiches to freeze for later. The service here is always friendly, clean and fast., Management is really on top of things and very hands-on which is why I believe this location runs so well. Bathrooms are also super clean and love the mouthwash, which is a great touch. I love the grilled chicken especially the salad with strawberries and blueberries. The grilled chicken sandwiches are also just as good on a wheat roll. My husband loves all the sandwiches and nuggets. The creamy honey roared BBQ sauce is great. We get the yearly calendar which comes with an excellent savings card so make sure you get your yearly calendar. Great job you guys - come closer to Rochester, NY! read more

Wow I'm really impressed with this location. The staff are amazing when we ate in here this afternoon. From the time we first arrived till we left we were taken care of by different people making sure our meals and stay were just perfect. The soda was a little too sweet and they quickly got us a new one. We had the classic Chik-fil-a sandwich, nuggets, and waffle fries. All food was cooked fresh and served piping hot. Everything tasted perfect. I'm not sure why they don't put out the Chik-Fil-A sauce. You have to ask for it at the counter. That's my only gripe, which is pretty darn good. The single greater fast food chain in American history, Chick-Fil-A! Since moving out of Connecticut I don't really get to enjoy this place too much, so while driving through Erie over the weekend we decided to get off the highway and get some of this tasty chicken. Like any Saturday afternoon this place was pretty packed when we came in but the staff had the line going pretty fast. I ended up ordering my favourite meal in the menu, the spicy chicken deluxe with a side order of waffle fries and a sprite on the side (I totally could of gotten some nuggets too, I regret this). The food came out super quick and it was all just as delicious as I remember. The sandwich was super juicy and full of flavor, while the waffle fries are some of the best I've had anywhere. At the end of the day, this place knows what it's doing and it won't let you down, if you haven't checked out Chick-Fil-A yet, you need to taste the hype for yourself. read more
