I love Panera Bread. I love their new sandwiches and the wonderful baguette bread they make them on. Unfortunately, I DON'T love it when they don't make a simple sandwich correctly. I ordered a ham and Gouda cheese sandwich with extra Gouda to go, and when I got home, discovered that there was no greens on my sandwich at all. They were super busy on a Sunday, so guess somebody missed that, but I just hate it when a basic sandwich comes up with missing something that really adds to the sandwich. So we stopped in for a late dinner, 7pm. Between the six of us we spent over $80. When our buzzer went off we retrieved our food at the window but our order was not complete. There was training going on and many ppl for it in a closed off section of the diningroom. We asked a person if someone could help us only to be told "we are closed". A women came over to assist us finally, saying that a sign on the door says we close at 7:30 for training. We did not notice the sign but also were not told by the cashier who took our 80 dollar order and let us dine in. We got our food but it truly wasn't up to Panera standards. Amongst the breads and sweets you are still able to get some reasonably healthy food here. And portion sizes that are not going to super size me. Came in to panera today to eat with my husband. I've worked in food service for too long and tend to watch kitchen staff and others around to see if they enjoy their jobs. With panera's reputation and inclusion I expected more. To say I was disappointed and concerned is an understatement. Not only was the kitchen overwhelmed with orders, but I noticed two women watching all of it and acting like school girls. When i went up to get my order I saw the pic of the store manager, and one of those girls was Stephanie. When her staff was overwhelmed and with many tickets on the screen, she and another employee were chatting and poking fun at the staff and who I guessed was another manager (an asian girl who seemed to be doing her best among chaos). They were hugging and acting very childish. Clearly the store is run very poorly if this is how the store manager behaves. Both girls should have been helping in the kitchen or at the very least supporting the staff with direction. I feel truly sorry for the staff and the people that work there, and will not be returning or praising panera for their values anymore. Having that kind of relationship with another employee is inappropriate and puts a serious divide between management and the rest of the staff. Anyone in charge of the goshen panera should be ashamed, because this is something that must have been happening for some time. I won't put this nicely, this location absolutely sucks. I have the Panera rewards and have come EVERY SINGLE DAY for the past month and order "large vanilla ice coffee with half and half and sweet and low" It either looks like sewer water or it looks like straight half and half. It's different every time and tastes like shit. They try to charge me every single time for vanilla and then sometimes they do and sometimes they don't. There employees need trained on how to make a freaking ice coffee. And if your going to do the rewards charge for the shit the whole time and not just when you pick and choose. I won't be going back. The new location is beautiful with a clean setup. Unfortunately what warrants this crappy review today is their inability to effectively serve their customers. I ordered dine-in at 11:55am, a simple You Pick Two combo (half soup & half sandwich) and a baguette. At 12:20pm, I still hadn't received my food. I asked the woman working the window to please have the kitchen bag it to-go, as I was already going to be late returning to work. She said she would, and offered a half-assed apology. 5 minutes later, I watch another woman toss a bag up on the counter & call my name. Upon inspection, I realize it is not my order. I point this out, and the woman said "oh, that's for such&such, THAT is urs", and pointed to my food prepared on a dine-in plate. Did the expediter I spoke to not tell the staff to just bag it to go? Whatever. Upon my departure, I actually heard the kitchen manager tell his staff to close the drive thru because they were so behind. Previous location up the street was consistently good and way better. We've wondered if this is owned or run by totally different people. Seems understaffed as well. Since the location moved our orders are almost always wrong or even incomplete. You get home and items are missing or aren't prepared as ordered. The vibe of the new dining room is really nice, but we've had to ask for cream, ask for sweetner. That was even before COVID. With the cost of things having to ask for stuff just feels cheap. We're hoping fora really good manger to come in there and that they can run it like the old location which seemed to have many more staff people. read more

I asked specifically for only turkey, lettuce and cheese. Though I do not go here too often it truly is a great place to grab a meal and sit down with friends and family or spend time alone and bring your laptop like a café. From chocolaty cookies and ripe salads there are a plethora of different options and choices for you to choose what types of good foods your palette desires such as soups which are served in bread bowls or sandwiches which are served with a variety of different meats, cheeses, and breads. I love this place. Cannot beat coffee refills for free! I love the card to as sometimes you get something free and sometimes you don't. For example, I just came in to get a coffee and I also got a free cheese danish.
