What a fantastic spot this is! They make fresh and healthy food and are very conscious of dietary restrictions and diets. All items are marked appropriately and they make tasty stuff. I ordered the Aladdin's Combo and small hummus to get a sample of what they do...and I cleaned all the plates without a problem. Often times with Mediterranean cuisine I feel like the meats get dried out. Not here, that was the juiciest lady's I've ever had. I grabbed a piece of strawberry casada (sp?) cake to go. It's all so good. When they brought my food I noticed how juicy everything was...and the aroma! The smell of everything was enough to happy about. Best part, Jazmin took care of me. This is my second review. I reviewed this restaurant about 5 years ago. I decided to try it again today. I had a craving for falafel. I ordered the hummus falafel pita roll. It came out in a fast food wrapper on a plate..which is strange in a sit down restaurant. I asked..they said it's the way they do it. If it's freshly made there's no need to wrap it. It wasn't great. I ate the falafel out of it and left most of it. The service was slow. I had to walk to the front to get my bill. The interior is nice and clean. read more

I love Mediterranean food and Aladdin's has a nice extensive menu. They have great wraps, plates, and salads. Get yourself a small hummus to share - it's a good size! The food variety and quality is good. Very consistent. However, don't expect good service. You will not get your table cleared, and you will not get refilled unless you ask for them yourself. Our waitress did not even come back to ask how our food was at any point during our service, we needed to ask to get our plates cleared and we needed to ask for our own drink refills. Sometimes things work out perfectly. When we were in the middle of Pennsylvania we decided to make our overnight stop at a County Inn & Suites in Mishawaka -- with no thoughts at all about where we might go for dinner. But--minutes after bringing our bags into our room I fired up my trusty Yelp app and discovered that Aladdin's Eatery was right across the street. As I said -- perfect! We love Middle Eastern food and grabbing some takeaway just a three to four minute walk from the hotel made it even better. We ordered a couple of "Vegetarian Combos." Each included hummus, baba ghanouj, tabouli, falafel, dawali, tahini and a packet of pitas. For an extra 75¢ we added their "hot sauce." The quality and taste was spot on--as good as or better than the same items we recently had in New York City. The tabouli and falafel were particularly good. Our order was ready when promised. Their online order and payment system worked flawlessly. Within minutes of picking up the food we were enjoying our dinner. Every single time my family and I come here the meal is great. I absolutely love their food and my picky eater kid will only eat the hummus from here not from anywhere else. There has not been a single dish that I have tried here that I didn't like. Everything is so full of flavor! It's a full eating experience with the flavors and smells and textures. The best Lebanese restaurant we have eaten at. Great service, peaceful atmosphere and fresh food. We just ordered off the appetizers menu, just couldn't get past the beginning. The kibby was crunchy outside and flavorful beef inside. The chicken sambusek with the grilled onions what a delicious combination. Spicy cauliflower was culinary perfection so well cooked and spiced. Everything was dipped in the garlic sauce. The sauce is beyond description, so I won't try. But it's a must have. I will admit that meditteranean is my favorite type of cuisine, but wow, this place is great. It's been a favorite of mine since I moved to South Bend in 2017, and nearly everything is great. I had my start as a waitress at a meditteranean restaraunt that made THE GREATEST FOOD OF ALL TIME, and so my standards for good meditteranean are quite high. Let me tell you what is good here: The hummus!!! We could drink this hummus. It is a more watery texture than some may be used to, but the flavor is phenomenal. The pita is a bit dry, but you could eat this hummus on wood chips and it would still be good. Jasmine's favorite with lamb is my favorite- it's a delightful medley of brown rice, carrots, chickpeas, plus I drown it in tahini sauce (which I recommend doing- ask for a second sauce). The lamb has only been over cooked once in all the years I've been. The dolmades are fair. The Louie bzeit is very good, a little heavy on pepper, but still very good. You cannot get a bad dessert. They serve five star cakes and baklavas. The juices and teas are also good. I've taken many friends over the years and everyone has liked their food- I can't imagine anything on the menu being poor quality. But if you're asking for a recommendation: jasmines favorite with lamb, extra tahini, and get a hummus to share. If you want to splurge get your favorite slice of cake or try a piece of baklava, you won't be disappointed. read more

We usually go to Kalamazoo or elsewhere for more authentic Middle Eastern food because the quality is significantly better and the prices are more commensurate with the level of cuisine. On a positive note, their staff has always been very courteous and attentive. Try Petra Middle Eastern Cuisine in Mishawaka on McKinley Highway (at Fir). They have much better food and portions at reasonable prices. It's authentic too. Ask for Yusef. He will take care of you and guide you through their excellent menu. I was sick for nearly 10 days, and the V-9 soup was incredibly nourishing. It has nine vegetables and is vegan. I highly recommend Aladdin's for their food- everything I've eaten there is minimally processed and fresh. Craving Mediterranean and saw the listing. The interior is clean spacious and clean. Jazmin N was our server and she was great! She had a great smile that was genuine and a wonderfully upbeat personality. She kept my drink filled without prompting. She was very knowledgeable of the menu and gave great suggestions. I had the Flavor Savor and it was plenty of food and let me try a bit of everything. My wife had the Mediterranean shish kabob. The food was hot and fresh and delicious. Stopped into Aladdin's for a meet up with some friends, it was one of the places that were opened until 10 pm on a Friday night and had plenty of available tables when we arrived around 7:30/8 pm. I had my eye set on the desserts and selected the Baklava Cheesecake. It was so good and recommended! They have a display case full of cheesecakes, cakes, and other desserts. (Under $5 for a slice of cheesecake too). One of my friends got an entree to share since they haven't had dinner. I had a taste of the Farfalla and hummus - both really good! Giving it a 4-star because I wasn't a big fan of their pita bread (a staple at a Mediterranean restaurant), it was a bit dry and too flat. The hot mint tea is a must-have, it's their signature beverage and smells delicious. They also have a variety of smoothies available and a pretty extensive menu. The service was great! Been here a couple times. Good food. Today I had Lebanese salad and the Aladdin Platter (grilled meats over vermicellirice with humus and some veg and pickles). Very filling, really tasty. In fact, by the time I got back to the hotel the smell had me so hungry I forgot to take a picture. Also forgot to save some for lunch tomorrow. Just destroyed it all in a greedy hunger haze. We had been looking for a good vegetarian restaurant since we moved here in December of 2019. COVID-19 put a halt to our searching for 2 years but recently we were booking rooms for a Celebration of Life event this fall @ Country Inn & Suites across the street from this new found gem in Mishawaka. The wall of fame shows multiple years of best vegetarian @ best gluten free restaurant in Michiana. They did not disappoint us with their rolled chicken salad & Michelle our server was nice and very informative too. The only thing I would change is to add mandarin oranges to add a little sweetness & moisture to the roll. The prices were good for the food received & we will be back again soon to try other items on the menu.
