We were craving deli sandwiches and found this shop on Yelp! We have gone through their drive-thru…read moreto coffee a year ago or so but didn't realize it was a deli! The place has two different dining areas but serve up the same menu items. They also sell huckleberry items such as truffles, chocolates, taffy, jam, coffee. And hot chocolate. The gals at the registers are friendly and helpful with questions on their menu. Restrooms are well maintained and stocked, dining areas were kept tidy, and the food is delicious!! We have stopped in three different times with family on our 2-week visit out there and highly recommend it! I had their Charlie Russell and the Gobbler and both sandwiches were tasty! I also had their mocha and a handful of Huckleberry caramels!!! So, so good!!!

The Hubs & I were looking for a quick breakfast for this leg of our eastward journey. We were familiar with the Wheat Montana brand since MT grocery stores proudly carry it. Our daughter urged us to watch for a Wheat MT Bakery/Deli when we saw one, so we obliged. We visited the one in Great Falls on 9th Street. From the tidy, inviting entrance to the decor inside & out, the business was super clean. It reflects some very high standards & pride. Ordering was easy & readable on the wall behind the counter. This was a busy place & the people who worked the counter were friendly & did a great job helping more than 1 guest at a time. Now for the FOOD! Big Belt Wrap: The BEST breakfast wrap we've ever had, hands down! The tortilla it was wrapped in was authentic, moist and SO good! Hubby & I split it because of what was coming ;D *An amazing Almond Bear Claw with sweet almond paste filling throughout. *A Caramel Almond topped Cinnamon roll the size of a dinner plate for later. OMGOSH, all 3 were perfection! They also have their breads, flour & other items for purchase. I'm sure they had gifts there too, but we weren't able to browse this time. But we'll be back!!!

Walked in on a quiet Sunday. Staff were donned in various NFL jerseys. It wasn't too busy (but then…read moreagain it is Great Falls, MT.) The menu was all about the grilled cheese. I really liked that the sandwiches and sides came in two sizes which allowed us to try a little bit of everything. The rundown on my order: Buffalo Chicken Nachos: Nachos but with chips? Genius. Loved the Buffalo Cheese sauce the chips were smothered in. Tri-Tip Grilled Cheese: A good amount of heat from the chimichurri. A good balance of meat and cheese to remind you it's a grilled cheese sandwich with beef- not the other way around. Loaded Tots: The portion of this side was huge! I got mine with everything so it was a nice, tasty, sloppy mess of a side. If you find yourself off the main drag in Great Falls, this is a must-stop for some of the best grilled cheese you'll set eyes on.

We ordered the Tri Tip Nachos as a starter. The chips are made in house and the tri tip was on point. We ordered the "shareable" order and I think we could have shared with the entire restaurant and had leftovers!! My coworker ordered this weeks special which was the Chicken Cordon Blue Sandwich with a side of this house made potato chips. She stated that the chips were better with something on them, referring to the nachos. However, she loved the sandwich! I had the Capresi Sandwich with a side salad. The Ranch dressing for the salad was a little runny but had a great taste. I loved my sandwich and they had the right balance of basil and balsamic reduction. Don't know how they cooked this without making the bread soggy with the tomatoes. Fantastic meal tonight!!

You can tell this place has a strong sense of community. It was packed when we went, which definitely speaks for itself! I ordered the hazelnut latte and really enjoyed it- the hazelnut flavor was strong in the best way possible! The downtown waffle was also really good, and I'd definitely recommend it. The sauce paired with the chicken was a solid combo! The brownie waffle with cream cheese frosting was good, but it didn't quite taste or feel like a brownie to me. As for the cheesecake, it was a bit on the drier side for my taste, but I'd be curious to try it again with a sauce next time! Overall, such a lively and welcoming spot- I'd come back to try more menu items!

The person who took my takeout order over the phone was nice as were the two women helping me when I came in for my phone order. I'm not sure if people come here for the food. Service is good!
