I like Panera, but not Lockport's location. I have never received a correct order from them. Ever. With the prices they charge, the least they can do is get it right. Place has been open for months now. No more blaming it on being new. Over $20.00 for two sandwiches with literally ONE piece of ham on a bun that was somehow burnt and chewy. Why is this Panera BREAD always RUNNING OUT OF BREAD? I arrived at the drive-through at 7:09 PM last night to order a salad. I was offered chips or an apple for the side. I said "oh no, are you out of bread again?" and the response was "yeah...sorry." So I left. This is not the first time, or the second time, but the THIRD time that this has happened to me, all within the past 5-6 weeks. Three out of four times that I have ordered this salad, times ranging from 6 to 7:30 PM, you have been out of bread. You are open til 9PM but have already run out? How is this possible??????? This location sucks! I will drive the extra few miles to Orland park to avoid eating there food! The employees are careless. My steak and arugula sandwich had only the steak on one half of the sandwich. It's always something wrong, forgot something. Food is always cold never warm. Ordered around 6pm after work, they were out of half the food, drinks were flat, bacon on sanwhich was old and was dry like cardboard. My dog could put a sandwich together better than whoever did tonight, it was embarrassing. Worst Panera I've been to period. read more

Terrible experience today. Saturday 4/13/19 at 12:06. Line out the door. It was obvious they were training new people but this was beyond ridiculous. Usually, new employees are trained at a slower time. We waited 15 minutes to place our order. When I commented on the long wait I was rudely told by Heather that they were training people. She was then rude the rest of the time we were ordering. No apology for the wait. We then waited quite a long time for our food. I ordered a avocado BLT. It was good but they forgot the bacon. !!! Kind of an important ingredient on a BLT. I will say the lovely young lady who brought our food to our table was beyond polite. !!!! She's the reason for the star. She was great. This is not my first bad experience at this Panera. I hope they read these reviews on YELP and figure things out in this location. It's a nice addition to the area. Also, where was the manager or supervisor during this busy time ? I don't know because I couldn't see any. read more

I'm not sure why but they can never get the sides right. I have ordered online 3 times and each time they have gotten the sides wrong. The funny thing is that it is correct on the ticket which is taped on the bag, but apparently they can't be bothered to get the whole order right. It doesn't help to use rapid order pickup, if you have to get back in line and ask them to correct something each time. The broccoli soup was good today, that was the only plus. read more

Great food. Super disorganized & poorly managed. Even the Rapid Pick Up is anything but rapid.

Order pickup and delivery often! Orders have always been correct. The app will notify me if an item is unavailable so I can easily make another choice. The restaurant itself is nice but I enjoy the connivence of a fresh meal when we are in a pinch between sports and school activities! read more

Placed a $90 order online. I spent the time to list who ordered each item but they can't take the time to label my food? Why did I waste my time? Wrong sandwiches, wrong sizes and an utter nightmare opening all the sandwiches to figure out what they are. We were even missing a sandwich and a soup. Every time I go in there, no matter the time, they never have many bagels left...maybe one or two varieties...when I ask if they'll make more, they say "I don't know "...I was excited when I heard they were opening near me, but now don't care...if they don't have bagels or food to accommodate people, why bother to go there!!! read more

Understaffed and very slow at the cash register. I initially wrote it off as just opened start up pains. Don't even try to go during a busy time. I like Panera Bread but this location takes too long to get your order and food. Have Manager visit Orland Park store and see the difference. read more

Worst Panera ever! It's employed by teenagers who are rude and mess around. Every time I go through the drive thru I wait at least 20 min which is ridiculous! Because if you go inside it never takes that long. The people at the drive through window are also so rude! The guy working today snatched the money out of my hand and then pretty much tossed my change back in my hand! I'll never go back after today! read more

Super slow service. Rapid pick up? Not rapid at all. Third time in here and the service hasn't improved. Very sad.

I was super excited to have a panera open up in Lockport. However, I cannot believe how disorganized they are. I called in my order at precisely 7:52pm (they close at 9pm). Gave them my order which took about 6 mins, got off the phone right before 8pm. I was told on the phone to give them about 15 minutes ( I ordered 3 soups and 3 full sandwiches). I gave them a little more than 15 minutes just to be safe. I arrive and walk up to the register, no line. I pay and the check out time on the receipt is 8:25pm. The very nice young lady tells me that my order should be right out "in a couple minutes. Two people walk in as I was paying. They place their orders and get their food within 5-10 minutes. After the second customer gets his food, Im like ok why did they get their food and Im still waiting when I called ahead of time......I walk back up to the register and ask the nice lady if she could please check the status of my order. She asked the manager who was right behind her. He does a few checks in the computer asked me if I paid already, etc. The nice young lady comments that she was the one that took my order on the phone and states to her manager that it should have been done already. He goes to check the kitchen area and tells me "a few more minutes." My food is handed to me at exactly 8:48pm, I know because I looked at my phone to check the time. Then I go back and look at my call log to see what time I called it in. Almost an hour.......No it doesnt end there. I make it home in a rush to feed myself and family after a long day at work. They forgot my nephew's plain turkey sandwich. I call them to tell them Im heading back for it (I dont live far) and the offer me a complimentary soup. Ok that was nice and I accept the offer. When I go pick up the sandwich, they mess up again. I look at the order and its a half sandwich and soup. I tell them its supposed to be a full sandwich. A different worker than the nice young lady at the front register, says no you ordered a pick 2. I go on to clarify that I did not, I ordered a full sandwich originally and had my receipt in hand to prove that I paid for a full sandwich. I also went on to clarify that it was them that offered me the soup to make up for the mistake. It just wasnt the best experience and I wish this wasnt the case because I really was happy that panera moved into the neighborhood. But from what I have heard from others and Lockport Moms, they need to get organized. read more

I have been here a few times and each time has been awful!! The high school students running it don't have a clue. A few weeks ago I sent a delivery order in at 10:30 a.m. and wanted it delayed for 12:45. I get a notification 10 minutes later that my order is on its way. I call and the girl on the phone says uhhhh let me get a manager. I explain to the manager what happened and she said yes they are contacting the driver now. So at 12:45 p.m. I get the delivery, the hot chocolate that was ordered was only HALF full, no silverware, and the CHICKEN CAESAR SALAD had NO CAESAR dressing. I later called and talked with a manager who's English was hard to understand, first told me it was my fault, that I didn't choose the delayed time in which I told him I had the delayed time in my email and receipt then says he would credit me a meal from their restaurant. Honestly don't want it in fear of not getting what I ordered. Bagels are over baked, food and soup are always served cold. No wonder no one goes there anymore. Very disappointing. read more

I've come to this location several times now to mixed results. One time I'd thought I'd save time by ordering online. Got there as my food was being put on the shelf. I asked for my food and they just gave it to me w/o asking for ID or anything. Any random person could of claimed my order... So I sat down and took my sandwich and soup out and it was the smallest bowl of soup in a tiny paper cup when normally you get a decent sized soup. Worse was that it was mostly broth. In general the food has been decent but the price and wait time is well above average even when it's not very busy. I went again today and was very disappointed that their iced tea looked like mud. I don't know how badly you have to mess things up to make it that shade of brown... I picked out an alternative drink and sat down and waited... Finally got my food and it looked like someone forgot to pull it out of the oven on time and there has hardly enough meat etc on it. Over all this location is slow and very inconsistent; the food is decent just don't expect the same experience twice. read more
