Meatball sub
Tom M.

You gotta try their meatball sub...it's simply awesome. I also had the pork tenderloin sandwich, pepperoni calzone, underboss sub, breaded steak sandwich, mostachholi dinner and pepper/ egg sandwich....and all of these were absolutely fabulous. Give Godfathers a try, you won't be disappointed.

Mostaccioli family dinner

We recently have moved to the area and this is our second time trying food from here. The first time we tried their double dough pizza and we were not really impressed to say the least. I would have rather just thrown in a frozen pizza. Cheaper and tastes better in my opinion. If you get the double dough really make sure you like dough maybe that's where we went wrong but still the taste was nothing spectacular - pretty forgettable to be honest. Last night we ordered the mostaccioli family dinner and we were again pretty disappointed. The mostaccioli was literally noodles and sauce with a couple meatballs and a couple sausage really nothing to write home about - very mediocre. The sauce was nothing amazing tasted like Ragu out of the jar. The "salad" was lettuce in a box with 3 slices of tomato which you can see in the attached picture. No red onions, cucumbers, cheese, croutons, or literally anything else that would go in a house salad. I wish I would have taken a picture to show what the "garlic bread" looked like as it was literally a sub roll with melted butter on it Apparently other reviews say they have good sandwiches. I cannot vouch for that as I have never had a sandwich from here but after these two disappointing experiences I'm not sure I really want to give them another shot at my business. If you're looking for actual Italian food that tastes good go somewhere else.

Pizza slice

Great food, amazing slice of pizza, great service. Great to see a business staying open during these times

Beef and cheese
Karen K.

We ordered pizza on special buy one get one half off and the beef and cheese. The pizza was okay but i found the crust really tasteless. The sauce and cheese were just average. I would order again for the value but I would not go out of my way to get this pizza. The beef was terrible it was small bland and hardly any cheese. We tried it after reading a great review on it. Maybe this was an off day but our beef was terrible. The sub sandwiches and calzones looked really good here. I may try that next time.

1/2 a slice of reheated microwave pizza!

Meatball subs? Calzones? Pizza? Great atmosphere? Fughettaboutit, Godfathers has it all. Great local joint with a lot of options!

The beef tastes like processed meat. There is no flavor to anything. Even the cannoli are weak.

Nancy's is a consistently decent spot with a few caveats. But alas, a chain. Pizza at the Point.. bleh. Alright, onto the next joint. Tried this place out with my simple go-to topping duo-sausage/ onion. I do long-cut caramelized onions, and of course they couldn't accommodate. That's fine. Do you atleast just have long cut onion? No. Diced. Sigh... Expensive little pizza. Bitter sauce... or was it spoiling cheese? Either way, that was the over arching flavor profile--bitter. Microscopic onion bits. I thought the sausage was halfway decent. Wife felt it was dry. Ordered easy well, was announced as well done when I arrived to pickup, and was barely done. Sheesh. They couldn't even cover the entire pizza with cheese, as I had a washed out section with just sauce. "Well maybe it was a busy night and they were moving and shaking!" Nah. Dead Monday night, place was empty. They garnered a 2-star because their breaded mushroom app was pretty good. It honestly saved the evening, for me at least. But to put it in perspective and sum it up, my wife was coming home late and fiending for pizza. When we get a good pizza from somewhere, it's usually at least an 18" and it ends up demolished. This 16" thing was barely half eaten before everyone threw in the towel. The bitterness was overwhelming. Doughy and bitter tasting. I wasn't even going to leave a review but instead move on, but I combed through some of the reviews and quickly found somebody talking about the bitter flavor as well which prompted this. That's a wild flavor profile that you would never think to relate to pizza. Someone posted on a Lockport Facebook page asking what the best pizza spot was in the area. One of the commenters stated, "Doesn't exist." And I'm beginning to fear this is true.

For the most part, she was very attentive as well. There was a point when she disappeared for a while whether on her break or something else I don't know. Nothing else was timely: the drinks, the food , the check, etc. Unfortunately, I did not enjoy my meal. The minestrone soup was OK. It came in this tiny banquet hall sized cup. The overall flavor of the chicken cacciatore was good, but it was extremely salty. Half of my chicken was, sadly dry. Sauce can only make up for so much. The atmosphere was fine. It was typical of a contemporary Italian restaurant. It did not feel cramped as the ceilings were high and the tables were spread out well. Everything seemed to be in good working order and clean. Typically, this would be the type of place I would give a second chance. Unfortunately, the people who invited us to dinner did make the comment that this restaurant wasn't what it used to be. The food times and quality were not up to previous standards. So what do I say about this place? I think they do try but the kitchen is their Achilles heel. While I cannot in good conscience Recommend them; it might end up being worth giving them a try when they are a little less busy.

We had to be seated in the bar with only high-tops only available. A very noisy environment. You couldn't hear any music. Our waitress was promptly at our table. The menu is laid out very well. A very good selection of Italian foods with good prices for the portions. They serve secondary soft drinks. No Coke. You can't be number one if you don't serve number one. Melissa took our orders and the food was served promptly and hot. She was very attentive, polite and was on top of everything. 8 TV's. One not on. Two others with stagnant pictures. The place I clean. The washroom is big enough for the restaurant. Lacking in paper towels. Only cold water for washing your hands. Not good if you have dirty hands. Over all a 7. The best part was our service. 3% added to the bill if paid by card.
