literally has to be the worst panera. they are slow mentally and physically. i went through the drive through, asked for a bagel toasted. got to the window the girl said, we're waiting on the food. maybe a minute later she gave me the bag with the bagel. when i pulled out the bagel its sliced and toasted but cold. weird. the butter is also hard and cold and not spreadable. i turn around go in tell them the bagel is cold. the lady (spanish older lady black hair) says "what do u want us to do" i say retoast it or make me a new one that's warm. she then pointed to the microwave by the coffee (which is not clean btw there's like coffee splattered in it) and said i can reheat it myself because if they do it it will probably just be cold again. i've worked in food and restaurants for over 10 years and some of the workers here are embarassing need better training all around. read more

Staff seems nice, food is good, way too much money for what you get, but that's part of the Panera experience. I was here on Sunday, January 21, and I could not believe my eyes and ears. An older gentleman and his wife who we see there often (we go there almost every Sunday) was cleaning their own table, saying how ridiculous this was, then I overheard him complaining how cold it was in the restaurant. It's funny/sad, because I had just got done bussing my own table by the fireplace, which was not on for some reason, and after I had just complained about it being so cold in the restaurant. The previous Sunday it was freezing also, so my wife and kids dressed warm for this visit, no joke.. One of my favorite Panera locations. Pastries were so fresh. I had the Asian chicken salad and was quite pleased. Chicken was tender and greens were crisp. The southwest lime ranch chicken salad got five stars. I still find the menu so hard to read and confusing with the pick two menu and the various price points that I never order what I really want. I've been here many times for rapid pick up as I work 10 mins away. I'm very frustrated with this location because the last few times I've ordered the food is not ready for another 10-20 mins past the time it should be ready. We have to clock out for lunch and only 30 mins! I've told them few times and all they say is oh sorry we can refund and cancel your order.. you mean to tell me I drove 10 minutes to come here to get my food, waste my time and not be able to have time to get any food by canceling my order? How does that benefit me? They don't improve either, they tend to get worse! I just left there after waiting 20 mins past the time it said to pick up my order, while they get orders ready of people who are sitting in and dining. They need more staff if they are so busy, you cannot just say oh we're busy.. doesn't work that way. If you're so busy then hire people or don't offer something you can't handle. On top of the service, their chicken breast has been pretty pink a few times steady, plus I ask for hot peppers they don't give any or they give my red sweet peppers like how hard is it to follow the instructions? Reporting it to anyone doesn't help they haven't fixed the situation, management must not be doing their job. I've never had this kind of poor service at any other location. Rapid pick up means just that 10 mins! If you can't provide that, then your location needs to not offer it! I will be notifying corporate as well because their carefree attitude isn't right when someone is planning around their lunch to take in on a service you provide that you cannot fulfill. Just ordered salads to go. What a joke! We paid over $22 and got horrible salads. The chicken Thai salad did not have most of the ingredients and one ingredient was wrong. It came with romaine ( including two bitter cores of the lettuce), a little bit of chicken, and sliced almonds. It was missing the wontons, red bell pepper, carrots, cilantro, and cashews. The other salad was the green goddess and it was the size of a softball in a bowl. We ordered extra chicken and it did not have hardly any chicken at all. We are trying to support local businesses and restaurants during this time. However, Panera in Manteca ripped us off.
